I bought one of those standing desks that you can move up and down from Amazon to help my back with working from home. After a load of research I ended up with this one and over a year later (bought August 2024) it's still going strong. The smaller ones are often on deals at around £100, and my larger one cost me £150, so within your budget. Highly recommended - https://amzn.to/479NYM6

I have a flexidesk standing desk. love it. 32" + 27" monitor with keyboards, mouse, shelf, laptop, dock..etc. only that doesn't have is my PC which is on another shelf. but u can easily fit a PC on there if u only have 1 monitor.(or put it in the back and hide it.

so i used FlexiDesk first and the height adjustments were ok but not smooth. then i got a Dezctop desk with the lift system and modular D Boards. switching between sitting and standing throughout the day became effortless. my back feels way better now

I got a Flexispot on a Black Friday sale and saved about a hundred, honestly pretty sturdy depending on how detail oriented and handy you are with assembly. There's one through Costco that doesn't look half bad that has a glass top, USB-A X1 + USB-C X2 integrated charging ports on the side, and drawer. Though I prefer a wooden top to secure a multi-monitor mount and install cable management.

Check how many leg segments it has. My FkexiSpot desk has 2 and low is just a tad not low enough

I got a flexi spot one and haven’t regretted it, I just do meetings stood up and it makes my back much less stiff by the end of the day!

I had one of the Ikea ones when they first started doing them maybe a decade ago. It was OK but I found I left it down a lot of the time and if I was standing I wasn't standing in a great posture anyway. Biggest thing was that it had no memory so it was always a bit of a faff going from one to the other and tweaking it up and down a bit to get it right. Ended up in the kids room. Due to change rooms around again at home so I'm tempted to try a Flexispot (with position memory this time). I found it was good for the afternoon lull you sometimes get although my WFH routine rarely has me sitting for hours at a time, I have a wireless headset and wander about if it's a long call, or nip downstairs to make a drink through the day.

Satisfeito e recomendo

We’ve had one off Amazon since 2020. For the price it’s great. No wobble issues even on carpet when fully extended. The motor isn’t the smoothest or quietest but functionally fine. It tweaks out some times and need to unplug for a sec but motor seems fine after 5 years. Got the cheaper wood laminate top and it doesn’t look tacky and the surface has held up well to daily WFH duties. I’ve used $3000 wood top ones and they for sure look nice but there are diminishing returns.

I was thinking the same thing. I have a rising Flexispot desk with a peg board. and I have about a foot and a half / 2 feet before it would be hitting the ceiling (granted its a lower basement ceiling) so I would never be able to raise it enough to have a whole second setup comfortably in view
