+1 for the large IKEA standing desk. Had mine for 5 years now and it's going strong.

I bought an IKEA Bekant during Covid and it's been perfectly fine. Large desk space, was easy to build, it's sturdy. Cost 450 though, not 150. My wife bought a much cheaper one from Ebay, mainly because it was the only one small enough to fit the space she wanted to use. Feels a bit too flimsy for my liking but, it's a desk, it works fine

I'm using the same IKEA Bekant that I bought in 2015 and like it, but who knows if it is still manufactured the same way.

I've been happily using the same Ikea Bekant since 2015. I'm not sure you're expecting?

Have had a Bekant since 2015. Still going strong. Perhaps a tiny bit of wobble when standing but totally fine to lean on. Sitting down as well. I have mine all the way down at that point though, not really sure if much wobble otherwise. Definitely worth the money.

The Ikea Bekant is garbage don't do it. Motor failed after 13 months and it wobbled like crazy even when new. Switched to a FlexiSpot E5 and the difference is night and day. Sometimes saving money costs you more in the long run. Stick with FlexiSpot E7 or Uplift if you want something reliable.

I can't speak about their other, newer ones they sell, but the Bekant is known to be one of the most wobbly standing desk around, and the Idasen is known to be one of the most stable. I've messed with both in person and can confirm the Bekant sucks and the Idasen is very stable both sitting and standing.

IKEA BEKANT saved my budget! Does the job for 1 monitor, motor’s not loud. IKEA UK support fixed a tweak fast—no complaints.

If you can wait a few days I'll be getting the Mittzon on the 28th Then after maybe a week I can tell you how it was working with it, feel free to ask again later in the future if you want a longer term review

I like it but I don't use the standing much, my intention was always to have easy adjustment for ergonomics There's definitely a bit of a wobble when it's at the top, it's not terrible tho, pretty sturdy at sitting height I think the cable management is decent but if you mount a surge protector to your desk, it's slightly awkward where you route the cables in, the thing on the back also makes it a bit awkward for if you want a monitor arm that clamps on your desk, I still need to play around with mine a bit Pretty satisfied overall (I have the 160x80)
