Most of the electric options in India are of Chinese origin. You can consider Ikea's manual desk. I know you're asking for an electric but if you can visit an Ikea store and see that desk in action. https://applink.ikea.com/tY8M9r9M4w--59429603--in--en I'm using the above for last two years without any issue. Manually adjusting height may sound cumbersome, it is a matter of time to get accustomed.
Trotten desk! Highly recommend!
I have a couple of IKEA Trotten standing desks with monitor stands clamped to them I stand over 90% of the time.
Yes. I got the Trotten from IKEA - [https://www.ikea.com/gb/en/cat/trotten-system-55989/](https://www.ikea.com/gb/en/cat/trotten-system-55989/) I got the manual one as it's guaranteed for a decade (and I hate complicated stuff that breaks). Really happy and probably change it twice a day. I'd definitely recommend it
I got it a few years ago, but the Trotten model looks to be exactly what I bought. Fairly easy to assemble, super easy to use. If you get one of the larger ones I’d recommend having a second person handy to some of the later assembly steps, since it involves flipping a fairly heavy desk.
I know you don’t want a hand crank height adjuster, but the hand crank ikea sit/stand desk is really a terrific budget option for a standing desk. Bonus is that it will literally never break, since there aren’t any cheap electronics to crap out. I have it and love it. I’m sure I’d love the one with electronics that IKEA sells, too, and with their ten year warranty I’d consider it….but you can pry my bulletproof hand crank desk out of my cold, dead hands.
Yes, I have a used Aeron and a used IKEA Trotten/Trofast desk - cannot recommend looking after your posture enough and it was all about £400
Plus one for IKEA. I have their medal hand crank standing desk... It's a fun part of the day cranking that thaaaaang
I cut down IKEA Trotten legs to fit an 80x80 cm top. It's not motorized (crank) but the same technique would work with a motorized one as well if you find one cheap. I got the legs for about 50 euros for this purpose. Required some creativity to attach the legs back together without the original beam but it's the most indestructible little standing desk now.
