It's been some years but I bought a height adjustable desk that is basically a table. It has 4 legs and is stable as heck. Can't remember the brand but it looks something like this. https://www.werd.com/62997/the-nolan-is-fullys-first-four-legged-adjustable-height-desk/ Those things with single legs are always wobbly.

Not-ikea. Bamboo or solid wood table top. Weighted metal legs. Smooth mechanism. Stable enough to sit on. Electric and not hand crank I got one by Jarvis (then rebranded Fully, then HM?) 10 yrs ago and it still looks and functions like new.
