I have two of the Uplift V2 desks, both with 1.5 inch Acacia butcher block tops. Everything is super sturdy and well made, and the solid wood is beautiful. Have been using these daily for about 5 years without any issues. Would recommend.

Three years with an Uplift V2 and here's the truth: it's overpriced but I'd buy it again. The accessories ecosystem is unmatched. The warranty is real (they replaced a faulty keypad immediately). The wobble is minimal even with my ham fisted typing. It just works every single day without thinking about it.

Uplift Desk. I got one early on in the Pandemic and it's been rock solid ever since. Dual monitors, multiple computers, electronics projects, and more without an issue. The mechanism is smooth and quiet. Tons of cable management options. Standing mats are a nice addition, I went for the Ergodriven Topo Mat and really enjoy it.

I have an Uplift desk I've used for nearly a decade now and I've been happy with it. They have some addon options for cable management and I got a little drawer attachment for my accessories.

Honestly, Wirecutter’s picks are solid and the Uplift V2 is super sturdy and customizable, and the Branch Duo looks great for the price. But if you want something quieter and smoother, I’d check out the Fully Jarvis or the FlexiSpot E7 Pro. Depends on your budget and how much you care about cable management tbh.

Secretlab Magnus Pro is hands-down the best if you want real cable management.. built-in routing, hidden power bay, super clean look. Uplift V2 with the full wire kit is a solid modular alternative. Both keep things tidy without endless zip ties.

Just upgraded from a cheap Amazon desk to the Uplift V2 Commercial and the difference is shocking. The cheap one would shake when I typed and the motor died after 14 months. The Uplift is absolutely rock solid and the 15 year warranty gives peace of mind. Yes it's expensive but buy once cry once. Get the memory pad not the basic switch.

I cannot say this enough, but if you haven't done so already, check your local online marketplace. You would be amazed at what you can find sometimes. I found a V2 for less than $50!

Thanks, I'd looked but didn't find many EC1 listing on Amazon and definitely didn't find that one. My Flexispot E8 has the 55x28 bamboo top and it's definitely a good size. Works well for two monitors plus a 2nd laptop to the side. When buying the second desk\*, I ended up choosing the Uplift V2 with 72x30 dark bamboo top over a Flexispot E7Pro - similarly configured they were similarly priced, Uplift's dark bamboo is solid core vs Flexispot's hollow core dark bamboo, and Uplift has grommet holes (I like the power grommet). Interesting about the keyboard tray - I've disliked every one of those I've encountered. Rather have a low profile keyboard on the desktop. Different strokes I guess. :) Couple additional notes for u/Jolly_Draft_5156 : [Flexispot's cable management tray](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08D63TFH6/) is nice. Helps make a very clean underdesk look. It will work with any desk you can drill a couple screw holes into. I considered buying one for my Uplift but the included one is serviceable though not as nice. I also recommend casters. Makes it super easy to pull the desk out from the wall when you want to adjust / change cabling in the tray, then roll it back and lock the casters when you're done. Lastly, I've been happy with [this cheap monitor stand](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09VNKTCDG) to stash my clamshell laptop under. One of the pair of monitors sits on it, the other doesn't and both line up. (one monitor has a USBC hub, allowing for single cable docking) (\*) two desks 'cuz we split time between two locations

I bought an Uplift desk in 2019. it's served me well so far. Stable and does the up-down thing well. If you're having back pain, I highly recommend a Safco Zenergy Ball Chair. It takes a little getting used to, but once you do, no more back pain. I had to work up to being able to use it all day.
