Haven’t tried the Hulala one, but I’ve been using the Vernal executive standing desk for a while and really like it. They have both I and L shapes. I went with the L, fits nicely in my work and gives me plenty of space. It also has a front panel, which the Hulala doesn’t, and I actually prefer that look. Also really solid and stable, and the motor noise is pretty minimal. There are a few pricing options depending on the sizes, but the prices are much lower that hulala.

I am using the Vernal executive desk at home and switch sit and stand a lot throughout the day. I went with the dual motor and it’s been smooth and quiet. It feels more like a real office desk than just a tabletop on legs, and the look is pretty premium. I love it so much. It fits well with the style of my home.

I just got a Vernal Executive desk last month and really like it. I thought it was a little expensive but I really like it and it's been great so far.

Check out Vernal. They've got various cabinets that go with their desks. I've got a Vernal Executive with a matching tall side cabinet, myself. They do also make L shaped desks and have cabinets and drawers that are meant to be stored underneath or mounted under the desk surface. https://preview.redd.it/xuvrcznriq1f1.png?width=960&format=png&auto=webp&s=8df9756cd44e5302d96d2f447229ec6baf76af3a

That's why I went with a Vernal Executive desk

I'd say at that price you're paying for mostly solid wood construction. That said, it does look very nice, but I would expect a privacy panel on the front for that. Might look at Vernal's Executive desks. I have one myself. They are laminate, so not nearly as expensive, but still look great and built very well.

If you’re considering Vernal for an L-shape, I’d say it’s worth a look. Especially if stability matters with a 49" ultrawide. I switched from an Amazon frame to a Vernal L desk a few months ago and the difference in wobble + weight support was actually noticeable. The way the frame supports the return side feels more solid than most “budget L-shapes” I tried before. Uplift is solid too, but if you want sth that doesn’t feel bouncy at standing height, Vernal surprised me in a good way. Not trying to sway either way just sharing loll.

Look up Vernal. I just got an L desk in walnut and it looks really good.

If you're already happy with Vernal's build/finish, I'd honestly stick with it, Its hard to beat that warm premium wood look for the price. I'm using an L-shaped desk from them and the whole setup feels super solid, plus the motor has been smooth and quiet for daily use
