Hey! Glad to see Vernal made it to your shortlist 🙌 Vernal desks are extremely sturdy, the lift operates quietly so it won’t interrupt your work, and it combined with a 15years warranty and UK shipping are covered too. Plus, the dual-motor system makes height adjustments super smooth, the frame is reinforced to minimize wobble even at full height, and you can choose add-ons like matching V-shelf or tray to keep your setup clean and organized. There’s also a Reddit-only code in our community that you can stack with a subscription for extra discounts.

Congrats on the new office! 👏 For height 5'8", Vernal desks are no problem at all. Stay solid (dual motors + reinforced frame), run quietly, and are built to last. Plus, UK shipping and a 15-year warranty are included. You can check out our Reddit-only code in our community and stack it with a Vernal site subscription for extra discounts.

My room’s carpeted too, and I had the same concern. I’ve got a Vernal 71" x 30". Wasn’t a brand I knew before, but it’s been stable on carpet. I type a lot and have dual monitors, and it doesn’t really wobble unless I push on it. Just make sure to level the feet properly; that made a big difference for me.

Hi All, Full disclosure, this review is incentivized (but not sponsored) by Vernal as they are offering a $30 reward for a video review of their standing desks on this subreddit. Despite that, I am quite pleased with the desk and so I'm happy to spread the word on a good looking, stable desk at a good price. I'm just a regular guy who is happy with their product. I have owned and used the desk for about one month. I bought the desk for around $500 and dimensions are 60"x28". Here is the link: [https://www.vernalspace.com/products/vernal-height-adjustable-standing-desk?variant=43137236697227](https://www.vernalspace.com/products/vernal-height-adjustable-standing-desk?variant=43137236697227) **Shipping and Arrival**: I had heard stories about shipping from Vernal taking forever as well as pieces of the desk arriving broken, but I had no such experience. My desk arrived in 4 days and no parts of the desk appeared damaged. The desktop arrived in great shape. I am located in a major city and I am not sure how that may affect shipping speed. **Assembly:** Assembly of the desk was easy enough and wasn't any more difficult that I imagine assembly of other desks to be. You first assemble each leg, screw them to the top upside down, attach the electronics, and then flip the whole thing over. I did have to pay careful attention to which was the right leg and which was the left leg, but that is easy enough and there are reminders to do so in the instruction booklet. My only qualm was that one of the predrilled holes in the desktop for the cable tray was misaligned such that I couldn't get one of the screws in, but it really does not affect performance and I can't see it anyway. **Look and Feel**: Personally, I think the desk looks great. The desktop is laminate, not real wood, which I know is a dealbreaker for some, but I have no issue with it and there are no signs of sagging after a month of usage. **Usage:** The desk itself is great to use. The preset options are great and easy to program and movement is relatively quiet, and wobble is really no concern. I am currently writing this review standing up at a height of 43 inches and there is **very** minor wobble that I can only notice if I really focus on it. There is no crossbar like in other standing desks but that isn't an issue for me. The desk does start to wobble a little bit when typing at around 48 inches, so it may not be super suitable for very tall people. I am 5'-10" and it works great for me. Overall I'm very pleased with the desk and I would recommend it to someone. I got it on sale for $500 from the vernal website and I think that is a fair price. When not on sale the desk retails for $680 which is probably too steep for something like this. If you're going to spend that much anyway, better to get a real top of the line product. But for $500 this is a great desk and I'm very happy. Feel to ask any questions!

I don't have the L desk version, but I have a 78x30" Vernal and love the depth. Their L desk looks to be 29.5" so may be worth to check out if you can't find anything else ETA: 79" is where they get to that depth tho

They give you a credit/gift for reviews, the instructions are on a coaster when you buy it. I absolutely love my vernal desk, felt like great bang for my buck given the size I got. I was just too lazy to do the post

If you’re considering Vernal for an L-shape, I’d say it’s worth a look. Especially if stability matters with a 49" ultrawide. I switched from an Amazon frame to a Vernal L desk a few months ago and the difference in wobble + weight support was actually noticeable. The way the frame supports the return side feels more solid than most “budget L-shapes” I tried before. Uplift is solid too, but if you want sth that doesn’t feel bouncy at standing height, Vernal surprised me in a good way. Not trying to sway either way just sharing loll.

Look up Vernal. I just got an L desk in walnut and it looks really good.

If you're already happy with Vernal's build/finish, I'd honestly stick with it, Its hard to beat that warm premium wood look for the price. I'm using an L-shaped desk from them and the whole setup feels super solid, plus the motor has been smooth and quiet for daily use
