From their customer support when I reached out to them: “We have checked with our tech team on this and they have confirmed that we have seen these leak the excess oil even after a long amount of time. It could be that it takes a certain amount of stress for it to flush out the excess, however, if there were no changes in performance by the desk, then this should not be anything to cause concern.” Nothing to cause concern? What about when it drips onto the carpet and stains it? Typically, if there is a change in performance in addition to the oil leaking, that would be cause for concern.

Steelcase is often the standard for office environments, they just don't die.  That said, they are crazy expensive. As a more budget friendly option that is still good quality, Consider the vivo brand ones on Amazon. It has worked great for me!
