Based on 1 year's data from Feb 24, 2026 How it works
I can’t imagine building something when I could purchase a solid one for $200. I’ve had mine for 5 years now - no issues with motor or anything. I guarantee if I built it I could not lean on it without it turning into firewood. Save yourself and purchase. This was the best thing I purchased going WFH. [Standing Desk](https://amzn.to/4pP1ZaB)
VIVO Electric Height Adjustable... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07V3TKBFT?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share I’ve had this one for a couple years and like it
I've had this one for almost 3 years and I LOVE it! It has 4 memory settings for different heights (I use 1 for sitting position and the other 3 for various standing heights - based on my shoe height for that day Lol). VIVO Electric 60 x 24 in Standing Desk, Memory Height Adjustment, 1B Series, One-Piece White Top, White Frame, DESK- KIT-1W6W I got it in Amazon: https://a.co/d/5D6iwNW
SO and I have had 4 Vivos. I started with a small one while wFH during Covid, buttons to go up and down. Got an L-shaped one with cubbies shortly after when I moved back into my office. Got the same L shaped one for the SO at her office. Got another L shaped one, this one with no cubbies (wanted all the desk space) when I started a new position WFH and sold the small one. They work just fine, don’t wobble, are relatively quiet, and hold plenty of weight. They’re all holding up great. I did have to buy cable management trays, but for the cost of the vivo compared to others it has been an easy recommendation.

I have a couple Vivo desks from Amazon. Most affordable and still working great years later.
I have a three monitor setup. No issues. My wife has two. They have also the accessories you need. If you buy another brand desk, I’d still consider their accessories. They’re also the best priced.
FlexiSpot is a great bet for a budget-friendly and reliable desk. They have a solid reputation and good customer service for parts if you ever need them. VIVO is another excellent choice, and they even let you buy spare parts directly from their website, which is a huge plus for long-term repairs.
I have a Vivo and a Flexispot EN1. Both are solid choices.
One thing I wish I knew before buying: they leak oil down the legs.
Mine is Vivo. From their customer support when I reached out to them: “We have checked with our tech team on this and they have confirmed that we have seen these leak the excess oil even after a long amount of time. It could be that it takes a certain amount of stress for it to flush out the excess, however, if there were no changes in performance by the desk, then this should not be anything to cause concern.” Nothing to cause concern? What about when it drips onto the carpet and stains it? Typically, if there is a change in performance in addition to the oil leaking, that would be cause for concern.
I have one from Vivo. Was decently easy to put together and is still working great 5 years later
