I got a 6 foot long VIVO during black friday and I've been happy with it
I bought an IKEA kitchen top slab and fitted these [motorized legs](https://a.co/d/c75Nt8e) on It was significantly cheaper, wider, longer, and better quality than your average $1500 stand up desk.
Most of the actual frame components are nearly identical. Commodity quality motors, gears etc. As others have said the monitor mount and top material are where you will see the most difference. I have a VIVO Amazon one with the bamboo wood tip and it's excellent, better than the expensive uplift brand one I have at work.
I've had three standing desks over the last 7 years: * Started with a VIVO dual motor from Amazon; broke just after 3 year warranty mark * Replaced with Uplift V2 C-Frame in 2021; made a custom top; killer desk, I still have this in my shop * Currently running SecretLab Magnus Pro; even more killer of a desk The Uplift desk is great. I have it sitting on 3" casters and even still it is very stable. The Magnus Pro feels beefier in every way; the weight and rigidity is next level. I got the Magnus for the specific features (cable management, magnets, etc) and appearance. I can't speak to long term reliability but I can say both the Uplift and Secretlab are tanks and remain stable at height for my 6'3 frame. Both desks have a laptop and one 32" display. The Uplift uses an arm, the Secretlab display is on a stand. Edit: As for usage, I do stand multiple times a day. Mostly if I'm in a meeting and my watch tells me it's time to get up. If I'm not in a meeting, well, I go walk around the house or something.
VIVO electric standing desk frame with 220 lb capacity, brushless motor, and memory controller for easy sit-stand transitions. You don't want to miss it! https://a.co/d/0laWAlF
Mine still works and I have 2 monitors with an arm. I may have overloaded it with weight though and need to help it on the way down.
We bought 2 of the Vivo ones on Amazon in 2021. At the time they were $300 but now they're like $130. That could be because they're cheaper materials now but it could also be due to decreased demand. They have present heights and you can also move it independently. They're in like new shape still. One we use daily but honestly we don't move it up and down much. The only issue was we scratched a small corner while putting it together (we dropped it) but no other damage throughout the years. We bought white and they haven't stained or damaged in any way. We went through a couple of undermount keyboards before finding one we were happy with. It would probably hold monitor arms but we haven't done that yet. We were heavily considering buying one of theuplift desks with the bamboo or solid wood and are really glad we didn't. It would be even more savings now but we are very happy we went budget.
Bought a Vivo in 2021 and it’s still working perfectly fine today. The desktop still looks new and no issues with the motor either.
