Versatile road-to-trail, but struggles on wet, technical downhills.

Have you tried the TT, it is not light and racy. The foam feels dead. The shoe has a purpose but not at that price...
The agravic speed is pretty nimble would say if they had a good fit you should look at the Agravic TT
The rockplate and lugs are bigger(\*the ASU2 got a extra 0.5mm length lugs) and the disposition and placement on the TT are differrent. TT is at 290gr in 42 2/3
Im in the same situation but a technical May 50K in PA. I’m about to try the prodigio pro. I have only a 15M run in my ultraflys and they feel great but are super stiff so not sure on super technical. I did try the new Adidas Agravic TT in two 25K races and although they felt fantastic over technical stuff they blistered/cut the outside of both big toes so I returned those.
I got these recently and used them on a 32km run with technical descents. They're great, don't get me wrong but if you have any concerns with a narrow toe box, these will highlight them. I've tried the Nnormal Cadi which are more narrow than the Adidas, however but the big toe on the Cadi is straighter whereas the TT are much more tapered to the centre of the foot. On the flat and most uphill/downhill the TT are awesome and I have no issues with width or size. The big toe will rub against the toebox taper and after 40mins of downhill running I was starting to feel it. Also the sole is "so stable" and flat that some bigger rocks don't tend to sink into the shoe and instead I felt like the shoe was balancing on the singular bigger rock, so make sure your ankles are solid. Otherwise fantastic shoe.
Adding to my own comment for OPs note on the Norda 001- I have tried these also and must say, these I think would be perfect use case for you. The toe box is roomy, no sharp tapers and the cushioning would be enough on technical terrain, they would far surpass the Adidas TT IMHO. That said, I didn't need a break in period for the TT, the norda I needed some TLC on the back of the Achilles/heel for about 50k. Acknowledging OPs comment about the cost- I don't expect my trail shoes to last more than 500km. Many, if not all reports for Norda shoes are lasting 1000-2000kms with possibly only a new Vibram sole required. I'd argue this is the price of 2-3shoes for the cost of 1.5 shoes.
I love the Salomon XA Pro 3D. The Adidas Terrex Aggravic Trail are my favorites, though. Damn they’re comfortable.
