"A good robovac is a life changer. Even a $350 basic S8. It is a great place to start. ... I promise you that you will not be disappointed by a basic S8. It will change your life even if it can't fit under every piece of furniture you own. ... My two S8s just finished vacuuming our entire house in about 46 minutes. ... While my floors were being cleaned, I sat comfortably on our patio in the cool shade with a slight breeze and composed my far too long response to you while sipping a diet soda and relaxing. ... I will have to spend about four minutes maintaining my two S8s. This will be my entire contribution to my home floor cleaning effort for today. Four minutes!"
"Like 500$ these robots are currently the steal of the century ... You can get a mova p10 pro ultra (cannot remove its mops), equivalent to the l40/x40 for 500$ after a discount code"
"I got the Q5 Pro for $139. ... costs $450 less than what I paid for the S6 ... it is the best value option out there imo."

"The roborock I have kicked and smashed with my foot so many times out of anger when it doesn't collaborate, and still he rocks 4-5 yrs later and no broken parts"
"they are extremely durable. ... I’ve got well over 1000 miles out of a pair and they still have grip and the uppers are in great shape"
"I've used them for 1500 miles of multi-day hiking with no issues!"

"I've worn Xodus runners for years on class 3/4 scrambles in the PNW, in addition to leading a few low class 5 routes with them as well."
"Got me through a week with everything Utah can throw at you - snow, mud, dirt, gravel, sand, slickrock, slot-canyon scooting, and the occasional stream crossing - and I never felt unsure of my footing."
"got me through a couple of ultras and about 185 miles spread multi-day over a week or so in Spain rocky/hilly/wet terrain."

"it’s comfy ... does the job perfectly ... I know it’s not built for concrete but it’s comfy and does the job perfectly. ... I recently used it in Japan and averaged 30k steps a day for 9 days. Feet didn’t hurt and still had energy to squeeze in a couple of 5k runs."
"I hiked the TMB (with a heavy-ish backpack) and ran the Alta Via 1 (with just a hydration vest) in these shoes (different pairs since this was in different years) and found them to be perfect for both."
"I’ve run marathons in the speedcross ... and also wore them to do the GR54 even although it wasn’t muddy (apart from 2 wet days) and they were fine for 190km."

"And then during a race in September the mid sole of one pulled right off with less than 200 km on them."
"during a race in September the mid sole of one pulled right off with less than 200 km on them."
"the exposed midsole on the heel area is a problem because any sharp rock can split the midsole in two very easily. ... After 150 km both shoes started to split from this area. I had to fix it by applying contact glue, and I ended up "filling" this space with glue to level it to the rest of the outsole."

"they blistered my feet even if I just used them for walking. ... Hoka Challenger 7 are the first shoes I ever gave up on."
"pointy little toebox ... I got them in a wide and still got massive blisters on the insides of my big toes ... if you need a wide toebox, you may have similar issues"

"I just hate the lack of a heel counter/floppy heel. ... On trails it might be more of a problem as you'll have less lateral support."
"I wouldn’t choose to wear them on any single track, as they’re too unstable laterally for me."
I've used Adidas Terrex, Vans, and now Nike Pegasus Trail. The Nike's have been my favorite thus far in terms of comfort and keeping my feet dry.
r/discgolf • Best Disc Golf Shoes?? ->Trail Runners are my favorite, I particularly enjoy Adidas Terrex I always have a waterproof and non-waterproof pair and use whichever is more suitable for conditions that day. I play a couple times a week and my shoes typically last 1.5-2 years that way
r/discgolf • Best Disc Golf Shoes?? ->Hoka challengers or adidas terrex for dry days, Salomon quest 4 gore tex for wet/muddy/snowy days
r/discgolf • Disc golf shoes? ->Adidas Terrex for dry days, North Face waterproof trail shoes rain/snow days
r/discgolf • Disc golf shoes? ->I use adidas terrex. Had them for 3 years and they’re holding up great
r/discgolf • Disc golf shoes? ->They start off still and feel like sneakers once walked-in. Used them for 1 year of daily wearing from Mexico to Colombia. Some models also look enough to pass for actual sneakers instead of hiking shoes
r/hikinggear • Help me find the perfect travel/hiking shoe! ->My Adidas Terrex served me pretty well given that I got them on a deep discount. Thinking about [Hoka Tor](https://www.hoka.com/en/us/all-gender-footwear/tor-summit/197634113876.html) for my next pair.
r/onebag • What is your one shoe to rule them all? ->Adidas Terrex after years in Keens. They're lighter and I can usually find them for $60
r/discgolf • Disc golf shoes? ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
