I like ASICS, currently use Gel Venture 10s, I do put insoles in to give better arch support, but otherwise I can pull them straight from the box and go ref games. I know some people that have multiple pairs for a day of games, swapping every game or so, I've never tried that.

ASICS gel venture extra wide fit me nicely. Altras are too narrow. They’re known for a wide toe box, but not a wide shoe in general. https://www.asics.com/us/en-us/gel-venture-10-extra-wide/p/ANA_1011B966-001.html

ASICS Gel Venture 10. I do 20 mile hikes in mixed single track, technical Rocky stuff, and some pavement. For my foot, it’s THE shoe when combined with Darn Tough socks. Second would be Topo Ultraventure but the soles don’t have the traction the ASICS do.

ASICS Gel Venture. I’ve tried a lot of different brands and this ASICS shoe works better than all the others. I did a 20.5 mile 2400’ hike Saturday in them. Zero issues. I’m a size 14 and can find them locally at Academy.

Asics 10 Jel Ventures were my primary trail shoe, but I kept suffering ankle twists that I attributed to the drop, switched to a barefoot zero. Of course, everybody has their own needs- if not for the ankle damage, I might still be running on the Asics.

I have ASICS Gel Venture 10 which are comfortable and cheap but quite heavy and slow.

With my odd feet these are the only shoes that sub 2 times the price that fit my feet and running style properly (in 12-EEEE) (as a point that's half a size up over my running shoes, I'm an 11.5 US normally). I wanted to get more expensive ones honestly, and tried a lot, but yeah ended up back to these.

NB Hierro and Asics Gel-Venture are my current quiver. Hierro for the softer trails, Gel-Venture for the technical stuff, although sometimes I wear the Hierros on the milder technical runs because those soles have so much grip on the rocks around here.
