I love my Brookes, Pure Grit 7s. Tons of grip, flat sole and good lacing and ankle support. I plan on taking about fifty percent more steps per Kilometer than when I’m running road or gravel

r/trailrunning • Hello! For trail running do you typically want a lower drop shoe? I worry about rolling my ankle sometimes. What is ideal drop for trail running? ->

I just always noticed a considerable drop in performance after about 400-500 miles and I've run through most every brand. Brooks Pure Grit were my favorites but they've been discontinued. I had Brooks Cascadias for a while then got into Altras recently because I like the extra wide versions and the zero drop which is pretty hard to find.

r/trailrunning • New shoe advice wanted please! (Altra failed me) ->
