I have Hoka Speedgoat 6 GTX for my 10 to 20 km runs and very happy with them.
I really like my speedgoat 6 offroad in the mud and walking in the mountains, but they lack a bit of damping for running <6min/km. So my next pair will be challenger 8's.
I've been out running through 5-10 cm of snow in my hoka speedgoat 6 GTX. The 7 just came out and should have some more cushioning (which they do need). Grip is pretty good with the vibram sole and like you say, going slow and enjoy the views 👌
I have both and the speedgoats are pretty stiff. Theyre great for the deep mud but pretty harsh on the streets. Challenger is the best allrounder, really soft.
I have worn both over the last couple years and can confirm that Hoka is more comfortable and are as, if not more, durable. I use Hoka Mach 6s for pavement and the Hoke Speedgoat 6 gtx for Spartan races and trail running. My Spartan Race shoes fell apart after two sprints, a Beast and a Super. I’ve put my Speedgoats through the same and haven’t even had a loose thread or blown tread yet. They’re great.
I returned my speedgoat 6 gtx after only 10 days of trail running and hiking. They were trashed. Toe cap peeling, dented midsole. These are not good shoes at all.
Another vote for these. I’m loving the traction on the ice and snow and my feet are quite toasty warm!
I’m personally a fan of Hoka’s, and I think this one fits your request: https://www.hoka.com/en/us/womens-trail/speedgoat-6-gtx/1155151.html?dwvar_1155151_color=BCKT
