003 is a great everyday & travel shoe! Fewer colors tho

I've had the 003 for everyday wear for a couple of years, and it has plenty of outsole tread left.

We go for 23 days in October. I’m planning to wear either my Norda 001 or 003

I wore the Norda 003 exclusively for 23 days in Japan in October. Fantastic shoe. The soles do wear a little fast with mainly urban use but they have lots of life still. I also own the 001 which are really nice too, but I prefer the more padded heel and slip on the 003 provides. Let me know if you have any specific questions, happy to help.

Agreed 003 better as lighter and more low profile. Also they tend to run hot (i live southern Europe).

I am on the opposite side of the spectrum but in my search I have found a couple of things that might suit you.Altra has a hybrid shoe named the Outroad that has good cushion. Mount to Coast is also coming out with a road to trial show named H1 in September. That looks like it checks all your boxes. I would also recommend the Norda 03. It is really a good Road to Trail show. That is what Inise in the winter betweny road and local trail

I am wore an 11 in every set of Altras I had. I wesr a 12 in 002. Though, they are snug when they are new, after ~100k they break in quite well. I do not wesr the 001 or the 003, the upper design for those 2 models is the same, and it pulls on my achilles (and hypothetically, also fits slightly larger). I found Nordas recommendation to upsize 1 full size for the 002 to be perfect.

norda, especially the g+ models if you want them to be a bit better in the cold. I have friends who hiked through the length of New Zealand in complete autonomy with two pairs. Durability can’t be beat, they are super comfortable and extremely light.
