"I put them in my ear, put the helmet on, then do one final “push” with my finger to seat them in my ear for the ride. ... The batteries die before they work out of my ear."

"they are so comfortable that both I and my husband have had to feel our ears to check whether we were still wearing them."

"Also super bonus I've never head banged with earphones this hard besides with these soundcores, they stick to me like glue even when I'm in a metal mood and I'm headbanging for a good hour."

"Coming from the Razer viper ultimate at around 74 grams to the X2 Crazylight at 35 is a surreal experience, the mouse is basically as light as a feather to pick up and move it almost seems like it's not even there. ... As a fingertip grip user the feel of using a mouse this light is bar none, it makes it so much easier to pick up and re adjust and just moving it around with your wrist in fine movements it feels much more accurate and controllable."

"After the third run of another 15 miles a few days ago, I was sold and grinning from ear-to-ear afterwards. It's light, fast and propulsive, responsive, stable, nimble, grippy, comfortable, and protective. It pretty much does it all in a very lightweight package."

"it weighs under 350g"

"But for California-style hardpack, light technical sections, and long climbs and descents, it’s an ideal shoe."

"the rubber is so tacky and the lugs are so grippy ... They eat up any off-road surface no problem."

"They’re super grippy and have gotten me up 4k+ft of tough trail"

"Third pair is only Telluride and seems to be holding up significantly better. ... Been running super rocky trails with miles of scree and they’re still perfect."

"everything on the PP is better: the upper, the midsole, the outsole, the responsiveness, the ride, agility, bounce, propulsion, stability, etc."

"Upper is in ridiculously good shape - definitely couldn't say that about many shoes after 1,000 km."

"I love my enduris 4’s! But I prefer a stiff and rockered shoe. ... By stiff, I mean the stiffness in the resistance to bending in the forefoot under the metatarsal heads, likely due to the nylon plate! I feel like it relies more on the rocker geometry on toe off, which I enjoy!"

"keep the fun bouncy feel"

"The toe box seemed nice but even with a solid heel lock, my toenails are falling off for the first time from downhills."

"The Olympus 5 was a no go for me and I bought up multiple pairs of the 4s. Haven't tried the 6, but I heard they did a better job with the heel lock, which was a huge problem in the 5s."

"Took them to Chamonix last year and they felt horrible - too much ground feel."

"I cannot claim it was the shoes, but I had severe knee pain after a few hour run in them, as well as aggravated peroneals. I had to take few days off and was able to sustain similar training load soon after, while wearing different shoes."

"had some real, uhm, "challenges" with my knee (very swollen) after my last 100 ... feel like I might need a bit more "cushion" for a 100 ... I've had horrible knee swelling after a 100 in Challengers and obviously that could be from a lot of different things BUT I wondered if a bit more cushion might help mitigate the issue."

"except on sandy ground and worst of all on wet rocks and moss ... seriously my confidence level drops to 0 every time i encounter wet rocks wearing any Saucony models"

"2 pairs of the Superior 5, terrible traction when wet on limestone."

"outsole-sponsored athletes and professional reviewers claim the lug pattern and compound are great for dry stuff but not intended for wet or sloppy conditions. ... why use a more expensive compound with LESS durability if there is no meaningful gain in traction/grip on all conditions? ... so...$325 for a trail supershoe that only performs on bone dry conditions?"

"Is this considered normal levels of wear on the outsole? ... Exactly what I thought… ... Pity these are bombing out. ... Mainly compacted sand, with cape sandstone and granite. So nothing gnarly."

"The lugs were shredding off in chunks. ... ran twice, maybe 20 miles in them and they were starting to do the same thing."

"My regular prodigios have been wearing very quickly on the rocks in the Vegas desert. ... The outsole is smooth at the forefoot after 100 miles."

"they are almost too wide/big for me. ... I got the same size as my 002’s but they just have much more volume than those. ... I have to cinch the shit out of them to lock my ankle/heel in. ... I use my 002 insoles in the 005’s because they are thicker and take up more space. ... In the winter I will gladly wear thick wool socks to help as well."

"Upper is baggy - way bigger and volumous than the 001's (which I'm a fan of) I had to crank the laces down on my smaller foot until the sides were almost touching. ... Lots of movement and overall sloppyness in the shoe - It felt a lot like the Craft CTM ultra which got across the board critisim due to a big upper. ... I really wish that reviewers would say right off the bat if the shoe is wide. Like Altra wide. Anyone with a lower volume foot would swim in this shoe - Length was fine."

Norda 005 is very light weight and comfortable. They are expensive though. La Sportiva Prodigio Pro is comfortable, handles technical terrain well and on the lighter end.

A lot going on here, including misconceptions. Altra isn't necessarily wide unless you buy wide, they're foot shaped. Most reviews I've seen have called out that it's on the wider, more voluminous side of fitting. If anything, it sounds like you could use a half size down. I have 101 miles on my pair over 6 different runs which have included a 50k right out of the box, three 20 milers and 2 shorter speed sessions. Over those miles, there's minimal wear for me. I went with the same size as my pair of 001's and fits fine. I might've been able to go a half size down but I know that during my 100 miler in a month my feet will swell and I'll absolutely want the extra space that I currently have in the 005. Midsole, my legs feel great after each run in them. My ankles have had to get used to some instability that it brings but that was mainly after my 50k out of the box section. For me, the 005 has absolutely been the most exciting trail shoe that I've ever laced up. Light, nimble, and versatile. It really responds extremely well to picking up the pace. I've been cruising on my trails around 9-10 min pace and I was able to drop a 6:30 at mile 18 in these and it felt great. That was on a completely water bogged trail where at sections I was mid shin deep in water. My feet were fine as the 005 drains exceptionally well.

I got a pair of 001s in late January for $120usd. I wasn't sure on sizing but at that price I was too curious to pass up the deal. I have about 300 miles on them now and used them for a bit of everything through this rough Michigan winter. They were great in the snow and ice and have been great on the trail now that weather's allowing us on them. The outsole really only has one wear point so far in the middle of the forefoot basically where I land. Otherwise they've been great. Feel really similar to how they felt new. I'll undoubtedly get 600+ miles out of them. I liked them so much I splurged on a pair of 005s which are also pretty wicked.

001s are worth it if you can find them for $150 (I got mine for $100). I was able to stack over 500 miles on them before I retired them to be my golf shoes. I went a full size up and the fit was ok. Not overly spacious but accommodating. They also run very warm but made for a great winter running shoe since they don't let water in (or out). A very boring and firm shoe that just kept going. 005s not worth it. They are light and the upper is more generous than the 001 but the lace bite through the tongue is miserable and the heel cup jabbed into my achilles like a dagger. The midsole was smoked after about 200 miles for me. I'm not big by any means at 5'9" and 170lbs, so the midsole flattening this early left me pretty disappointed. I only got 260 out of them before tossing them in the trash. I logged 100 training miles in them before running a full 100 miler in them. After those 200 miles I tried logging runs as little as 5 miles and rock hits were piercing through the shoe and my feet would kill me afterwards. So it's hard for me to recommend or justify them at their insane price tag of $325. For half the cost, the Mount to Coast H1 seems like a superior buy in almost every aspect. Heck I ran my latest 100 miler in a pair of cheap ($80) Merrell Nova 4s and they were an excellent shoe. A brand that gets slept on in the trail running space.

I really like the 001's. Put just over 700 miles on one pair before recently retiring them to walk around shoes (they could have gone longer still). I'm 6' 175lbs, so a bit smaller than you but still larger human than the average ultrarunner. I'm wearing the 005 model for the Zion 100mile this weekend. I've also been enjoying them. Only notes in both, the heals don't work for everyone, I had to KT tape at first on the 001, but it got better.

T1s are amazing hiking shoes and the vibram tread is holding up to rocky trails way better than my speedgoats. Toe box is awesome. Norda 005 dig into the top of my feet (high arches) a little bit but feel amazing at any pace faster than around 9:00 / mile. Slow plodding pace or just walking, wouldn't recommend. Would like to try the mafate 5s next month as my next trail shoe or possibly The Rocker if I can get a pair in my size.

I've been comparing the Nnormal Kjerag02 and Norda 005. Also the Patagonia "trail" clothing is very nice. Ps. The Norda 005 are very nicely built but too much foam for me and "unstable". I enjoy the Nnormal Kjerag 01 and 02 more. I'm running technical forest (MTB) trails 90% of the time. It's been a fun summer testing.

Norda 005 is very cushioned while still being lower than a lot of stacks. It’s my race shoe of choice. 001 is great too but a more dense foam so not as squishy/cushioned.. it’s my trainer

Also I find that once it is worked in the heel design they have locks your foot in very well and unlike anything else ive tried. The 005 has softer more broken in materials straight out of the box too btw

Moved from Brooks Caldera to Norda 005s for trail races. Very light shoe with great cushioning. Over long runs the reduced weight makes a difference. I wear a 13 in Brooks and Asics; the Norda 13 works, but 13.5 would have been a better choice.

Put a little over 30 miles on my 002’s and went for a size 13 (I’m 6’4 225 pounds) they caused some gnarly blisters on my ankle and heel. That’s just part of the break in period. I tried on a size 12.5 at a store in Flagstaff and realized I should have gone with that size. Still going to rock the pair I got as they feel good with a tight lace up. I’ll keep the community posted after the break in period is over and the blisters heal. Training for elephant mountain next year! Ordered the 005 in size 12 for that race
