On - Cloudsurfer Trail 2

Hi op, fellow 200 pound runner here, I’ve been using a mix of my nike zegama trail 2s and on cloudsurfer trail 2s, I will say the trails near me aren’t the most technical in the world so that may be where they fall short if you decide to try them. Just know the ride on the zegamas is kind of insane

The on cloudsurfer trail 2 would probably be pretty good for gravel. It’s a nice road to trail shoe with really good cushioning

[SalomonGenesis Trail-Running Shoes ](https://www.rei.com/product/230683/salomon-genesis-trail-running-shoes-womens?redirect-pup=false)\-- I have pretty high arches and had struggled with posterior tibialis syndrome and plantar fasciitis in the past with less supportive shoes, and these seem to have resolved those issues. Great balance between being grippy enough for technical trails yet cushiony enough to wear on concrete if needed for a few miles. For my summertime trailrunning I like On Cloudsurfer trail shoes but not as good with the slippery mud.

I think toebox volume is fine although I did size up to US 10 compared to my US 9.5 V1. I'm generally feeling better going a half size up from true to size with On.

I do like the cloudsurfer trail 2s as a road to trail shoe. I haven’t ran in the zegamas yet. Do you like them?

Currently having On Cloudsurfer Trail 2 exactly for this purpose. Handles road running, trail, even some technical terrain (used it also in the Alps in some technical descent), sheds mud a dirt quickly, so can be used as a casual shoe to the city. I was really surprised and it became quickly my travel do-it-all shoe.

For hikes, I have On's Cloudsurfer trail and Cloudvista 2, both are trail running shoes. Magaan and very comfortable!

I’m on my second pair of Mach 6’s and I’m obsessed with them. So fun and fast and effortless to wear. I have a wide foot but typically size up vs go full wide. Lady foot with long toe and high arch. Not super popular here so I’m reluctant to share lol, but I love On Cloudsurfer Trail for packed trail combo slippery dusty leaves/pebbles nor cal style trails (vs wet slippery granite on the north east or something). V spacious in the toe box but more of a drop. I’ve done some big elevation shifts. YMMV obviously, but works for my mach 6 loving feet. Speedgoat feel like hobbit feet to me.
