I loved my Salomon vibe (gortex) trail running shoes. I don't think they make the exact model anymore, but they were so great for not getting my feet soaked on soggy/muddy runs
You can look at Salomon they have this kind of design, like trail/hiking shoes.
But maybe I am not very objective because it is my favorite brand.
Just bought a pair of 5 X ultra GTX and they are really great.
Yeah, I've been really pleased with my Sense Ride 5's and have found them perfect for 'mixed' usage (road and trail, all seasons). These have done over 800km now and whilst there's some outer lug wear they're lasting really well and I reckon they've got a fair bit of life remaining:

Amazing value for money (I paid £60 for them).
I did around 300 miles, and the soles still look really good. I can’t say exactly how many of those miles were on asphalt, but it must be a lot since I usually plan my routes ad hoc along the way.
I’m sure there are plenty of better trail shoes out there, but I don’t think they’d last that long (as I’m planning to use SUG3). Previously, I ran about 600 miles in Salomon Sense Ride 5 before they wore out. 😉
Huge fan of trail runners. Used Salomon High Sense 5 for my 8 month trip to SEA. Not sure if they have it in black, I would just wash my shoes every couple months
