I loved these shoes. I just looked online and it says they are women's but I'm a man. The person helping me pick them out never said they were women's, but anyways.. I loved them. I loved the waterproofness (until it stopped being waterproof after about a year). They were super waterproof at first. I could dunk my shoe in a big puddle and zero water inside. They have good grip, they are suuuuper light weight feels like air on my feet. Perfect for my lifestyle. What other brands or shoes would you guys recommend that are pretty much exactly like these but maybe better quality that won't deteriorate so quick. The waterproofness is the most important thing. I want them to be completely waterproof and not wear out and start leaking water in. I dont actually do trail running, but I do technical hiking in wet conditions and love the grip on these shoes. I also wear them as every day playing shoes with my dog, thats why I love the light weight and waterproofness so I can play in morning dew and run around with him in the grass and stuff.
r/trailrunning • Looking for new shoes similar like these. They are Saucony excursion tr15 light weight trail runners. ->I wonder if the newest saucony peregrine GTX or excursion tr17 GTX would be better quality than this pair I got. Like I do really like all the features in this shoe and it feels great, its just the material quality and waterproof does not last long. I just got these in 2023. Already rips in the fabrics, waterproof is gone. Thats only 2 years I feel like it should be more.
r/trailrunning • Looking for new shoes similar like these. They are Saucony excursion tr15 light weight trail runners. ->Saucony Tr excursions, super light, super comfy, and you rammed down with some good waterproofer you can’t go wrong.
r/discgolf • Disc golf shoes? ->I personally love Saucony Excursions. For the money ($75) they are a great shoe, breathable and tough.
r/backpacking • Gore Tex or no? ->I have Saucony Endorphins (racing) and Excursions which I thought I would use on rainy days. However the tread on the Excursions is pretty aggressive, not the most comfortable for running imo. Although I have a gortex version, so my main issue is it’s non breathable. I wouldn’t recommend them if you’re doing just road running, but they are great for trails and on icy days.
r/FrugalMaleFashionCDN • Saucony Excursion TR17 Trail Running Shoe (wide fit) - $67.48 after code FF25MAR ->I probably have a shoe problem… Trail- - 2x Saucony Peregrines - one is a half size larger to accommodate double socks for winter running - Saucony Excursion trail - “emergency sneakers” purchased on a work trip. Not my faves. - some Merell ‘barefoot’ things that are nice for soft and sandy pine forest floors and not much else. - Merell MOAB sneakers for hiking Road - Saucony Kinvara - I 90% love these but sometimes my toes go numb. Wanting to try some Brooks but they sell out so damn fast Gym - New Balance Minimus. I lovvvvveee these. I feel so grounded and sturdy
