As someone else suggested, Sportshoes.com. I'd recommend Scott Supertrac RC2's. They're more like a running shoe than inov8s but still have loads of grip for mud and wintery stuff.
VJ iRocks for racing. Scott Supertrac RC2s are the closest I’ve found to roclites for daily training. I’ve got a pair of the OMM fell shoes to try but I’ve been out with the flu so haven’t given them a go yet. Luckily still have some old 212s that i save for special occasions…
I wore few different pairs just because they were cheap. Supertrac 2 were very comfy on foot with the upper made out of paper. They only lasted 258km. I don’t chuck shoes on their first hole but I was getting good sized pebbles into the shoe. Supertrac RC2 were kind of alright but it didn’t really shine at anything. I don’t think they were a race shoe for anything: not enough grip or security for the food for short distance, pretty unforgiving for long distance. RC 3 are substantially different but I won’t take a gamble at them. Supertrac Ultra RC were the best out of three. Quite a firm and uninspiring ride but very durable and just worked on any terrain for long slow plods. I took them to Iceland and covered some rough ground and snow in them. Lasted 1369km. I wouldn’t buy any of them again, but that’s only because there’s nicer shoes out there.

Accept wet feet but use good socks to help keep them warm when wet. I love my Scott Supertrac RS2s as they have great grip and keep me stable. Also they are fairly splash proof keeping my feet dry longer than my other running shoes. Not a lot of squish in them if running hard tracks though
Scott Supertrac RC 2 fits that bill in my experience. Never felt better connection with the ground in any other shoe
I had Scott Supertrac RCs, Hoka Speedgoats and LaSportiva Bushidos before, last year I had the opportunity to take part in an Asics shoe test event and really liked them. I got a pair of Asics FujiLite 5s and really, really loved them. Ran over 600km in them last year and would say they are a wonderful versatile shoe. Used them in alpine terrain as well as chill forest trails, never had a Problem, was especially surprised with their sole/grip on wet trails. Would 100% recommend the FujiLites, i did not enjoy the other Asics trail shoes too much though, the Gel trabuco etc. felt weird for my taste...
