"I love my enduris 4’s! But I prefer a stiff and rockered shoe. ... By stiff, I mean the stiffness in the resistance to bending in the forefoot under the metatarsal heads, likely due to the nylon plate! I feel like it relies more on the rocker geometry on toe off, which I enjoy!"
"keep the fun bouncy feel"
"the rocker is very efficient for long efforts at steady paces."

Salomon Genesis for technical trails. Saucony Endorphin Edge for non-technical trails and non-technical races. OG Nike Zegama retired to short runs and family hikes. North Face Enduris 4. Great shoe, but returning them because the Vectiv plate digs into the sides of my feet. Brand new pair of Mount to Coast T1 that I haven’t had a chance to run in yet.
As a glycerin and Brooks lover, I found the north face vectiv enduris 4 fantastic. Worth a look. Softer than the cascadia but not as bulky as the Caldera
Honestly I got the enduris 4 on sale for 90 bucks and thought it was too good to be true. Like others, I was skeptical with TNF current brand view, but they are amazing! At least for me. For trail running/hiking and an everyday door to trail shoe (long hours at work etc) they eat everything. They are comfortable and I feel noticeable relief when putting them on after my Salomon ultra 360 (more of a sturdy hiking shoe I know). Point being, I am still having trouble understanding the same thing. I know they have gone very street wear but the shoes (and the never stop exploring slides) have been extremely comfortable, durable, and the rocker makes everything feel effortless.
Norda 001 TNF Vectiv Enduris 4
Consider North Face options the Enduris 4 is a great shoe and not narrow. Very stable but has a plush foam and a nylon plate for some protection. I haven’t tried Fujilite or speed though so can’t compare.
Depart from Nike and look for some of the dedicated trail brands. North Face Enduris 4 was on sale for $112 earlier this year. Probably a BF deal coming up. It's an awesome shoe. Like the Zegama 2, but better imo. La Sportiva Prodigio Pro is on sale for 25% off at REI if you can find your size. It's on virtually everyone's top 3 (if not top 1) trail shoe of the year. To your Q: never tried Wildhorse. I'd prefer Zoomx over ReactX foam. I have the Peg Trail 5. It's a great travel shoe that can do road, trail, airport, etc. but it's dull compared to all these other shoes.
Enduris 4 is my favorite trail shoe. Can do everything. Very responsive. Great cushion. Wide and stab platform. Very durable. Good price.
North face Enduris 4 is great. La Sportiva Prodigio Pro is the best but pricier. Evo SL is also my favorite road shoe. For a wilder ride that you can pick up for cheap, the Saucony Endorphin Edge is very fun but can bounce you around a bit, so not recommended if you have wobbly ankles. Very fast shoe.
I have similar feet (appointment with a podiatrist upcoming). The genesis is the first shoe I've owned that doesn't have a crease in the upper from my flat foot hanging over the medial side of the insole. It is relatively straight but I think the support pieces in the heel are what is doing the work. Now if they'd make a "genius max" or similar id be set. I just tried on the north face altamesa 500, the north face vective enduris 4, and puma voyage 4. All have cool tech, but all have curve and/or a cutout in the midfoot that removes them from consideration. You may need to try different sock thicknesses to dial in the fit with the genius (or fill in the volume with an insole). Lete know if you find something. There aren't a lot of shoes for us lol.
I tried on the altamesa and the enduris 4. Loved them both except the midfoot cutout was too dramatic. I have low arches and need a but more platform then that. Otherwise I would've purchased the enduris 100% .
TNF enduris 4. I have a ton of miles in Challenger 7 and the Enduris and you won’t be dissapointed. TNF shoes always seem to be on sale online also.
VECTIVE Enduris 4 is absolutely amazing ! Here's a review : [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bf5WufY-JL8&ab\_channel=ConversationalPace](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bf5WufY-JL8&ab_channel=ConversationalPace)
North face vectiv enduris 3 and 4s are some of my favorite shoes of all time. Vectiv sky 2s look sweet too.
I would go for North Face Vective Enduris 4, or maybe Merrel Mtl Adapt Matryx. I’m 90 kg, have wide feet and run on technical terrain in Norway (it often rains, so a lot of mud, and with periods of snow). I have ran in: • Hoka Speedgoat 5 - not very durable grip. • New Balance Hierro V9 - A bit unstable. • Asics Gel - Trabuco 13 GTX - Caused achilles pain.
