Versatile road-to-trail, but struggles on wet, technical downhills.

Topo Athletics are my favorite. They have options with some drop and zero drop. Super comfy, nice support, and no more blisters or squished toes!
I'm glad for it, I have crazy high arches so Topo's are perfect for me.
Trail shoes on road is just uncomfortable and wears them out quickly. Road shoes on trail is a recipe for slips, falls and injury. If you can, road to trails like Topo MT or Ultraventure works best. If the terrain is at all techical or slick, I'd not use road shoes.
I second Topo MT -- these are my go-to road to trail, or for slower less technical efforts.
Same here which is why I like the Topo Athletics as they have some models that are not strictly zeros drop.
Yes, I wear them as everyday shoes and hiking. I occasionally wear boots if I’m backpacking with a heavy pack. The Topos don’t last as long as I’d like them to but they are perfect in the toe box for me.
Topos are reasonably normal (whatever that means), widely available, wide toe Bos, and low drop shoes.
Try Topos in the wide width. I speak from experience. My feet are EEE width.
