Personally don't find much difference in the breathability of each, but do find that the all weathers are a little wider and more comfortable (for me)

I've got the same FG3.5 and was concerned about my size being one two big. But after a week in the mountain I think I picked the right one. They just seem so different from my Primus Lite that its hard to compare. The primus lite are probably my favorite shoes I've ever had at this point. But sad the sole is getting worn out after a year.

have had both, currently the knit, find the knit a bit heavy and less "good looking" but very easy to put on. I would buy the regular and put on stretch laces. as the lawyers say, there is a specialist for every opinion.

Are you running or walking when you get feet pain on concrete with the Vapor Glove 7s? I use the Vapor Glove 5s as my daily shoe and have used the 1st, 4th, and 5th gens of the Vapor Gloves as my daily shoes + backup running shoes for both road and trail, and I don't have any issues. But I have been using minimalist shoes for over a decade now, so maybe that's why. Maybe you need to train your feet and calf muscles, or practice your landing positioning and form? > The most important: there are some shoes in the middle between Trail Glove and Vapor Glove? I love trail running in my Vapor Gloves, but I only use them for shorter trail runs less than 10K, since I really need to be careful about where and how I land. For longer trail runs, I use Vivobarefoot Primus Trail Flows and Primus Trail FGs. I love the Trail Flows for rocky, technical terrain and the Trail FGs for non-technical, dirt trails (as the name Firm Ground insinuates).

> And so you are saiyng that the trail collection from Vivo is more protective? The Vivo trail runners have a higher stack height than the Vapor Gloves. I went on trail runs up to 63K in my Vivo Primus Trail Knits, and I'll be running a 112K ultra trail in my Vivo Primus Trail FG 3.5s. The Vivos should treat you well, provided your feet shape is compatible with Vivo's aggressive toebox tapering.

I have both. Trail Knit FG its a little bit narrow on the front, less breatherable, its fine for a ocasional rain and much more durable on the long run, so you can use on many years. Trail FG 3.5 its more a summer shoe, the upper linning its kind of open plasticy mesh so perfect breath ,more light in weight and opposite to the other it's more fragile because of the mesh, specially on the big toe if you don't protect it with a kind of internal small adhesive patch, will open a hole where the big toe touch the mesh. Not good at all for a ocasional rain. In both as the name trail said are not good for city or mainly very hard surfaces as the lugs on the sole on long distances its painfull on your feet. Regarding the tongue vs knit, both are very comfortable but I found the knit system wonderfully wrap your feet like a glove.

Get black primus trail 3.5. They’ll do most scenarios. People that bitch about the laces need to get a grip. Cut them if they’re too long.

Kinda side-stepping your convo, but how do you like the Primus Trail Knit? I have a pair of the Primus Trail FG 3.5, but still within the 100 day trial and definitely ordered a size too small

Yup. I have Primus lite 3’s, and the Primus trail 3’s and love them both. Probably wear the lite 3’s the most though because they’re great with concrete and the trails are better for turf. I myself like less tread on concrete pads as the trail tread is almost too grippy for that.
