We have two axkid minikid 4’s for our twins which are nice and narrow and we could fit a third in our model 3 if we tried. I’ve seen people recommend 2 belted infant seats on the outside and then the toddler in the middle. Avionaut new car seat is supposed to be really slim and light.
I dont know about this spesific car but we were able to fit 3 rear facing seats to our Volvos back seat. Our countrys officials strongly recommend rear facing for 6-8yo depending on the kids size. This Graco seat only goes up until 4yo. Anyway, Axkid Minikid 4 is an excellent, Plus tested and narrow rear facing seat (44cm) that can be used up until that 6-8yo of age.
Are you in the UK? I have two 99th percentile sons (3y 10m and 7months) I bought a Britax 25kg limit seat for my eldest without thinking about how quickly he would outgrow it so have since done loads of research into the best extended rearfacing seats. The spin seats generally seem to have weight limits of 18kg and my son reached that around 2 and a half years old unfortunately. There are a couple of 36kg weight limit seats like the Axkid Minikid 4 (has a really long back on it too great for tall kids) and the besafe stretch which I think is suitable starting from young babies using the inserts right up to 6-7 years old. We went with the Axkid seat because we have a somewhat small car. He did manage to stay in his infant carrier until he was 12 months though before he hit the limit on it. I’d definitely have a look at either of these 2 seats, both will last ages for bigger kids and score really well in crash tests too! Added bonus, if you can hold out until November they often have good deals on them in the Black Friday sales!
