Forsaken_Visual_8639 1.0I’m not sure how old your child is but I went for an axkid minikid 2 (£250) when they maxed out their baby seat, so I rear faced until they turned 5.5 years old then went for a Besafe izifix 2 (£200). Next on my list after the Besafe would have been a Britax Kidfix 2 or an Avouinaut maxspace. I do believe you should spend as much as you can on a car seat that has a good safety score and is easy to fit. Check out which? Scores and ADAC car safety scoring results. I did a lot of research before buying either of these car seats. I would only use a cheap Halfords car seat as a backup in emergencies. I have had some near misses due to idiot drivers and I’ve been so grateful that my kid is safely cocooned and I’ve done all I can to minimise the danger to them if we are in an accident.
