Meillä oli Maxi Cosi Pearl telskalla ja sitten Britax Römer Max Way kahdella lapsella. Max Waysta sitte turvavyöistuimeen. Meillä kuopus tosin täyttää seitsemän, joten noita malleja ei taida olla enää myynnissä uutena. Mut molemmat merkit on olleet ok.

Had 2 britax max ways for a few years, new version the max safe I believe. If you have a higher centile baby then an ERF to 25kg is a good option. Max way is belted and tethered which is a pain the first time you fit it but you get the knack. If a low centile baby then an 18kg rear facing will be enough, then you can get isofix with swivel. Ideally they should rear face until at least 4 and then can move to a high backed booster, so they need to be mature enough to sit with the seat belt.

We did the Axkid One+ with the newborn insert & it’s still going meaty 2 years on - yes, I had to baby wear or put my kid in my bassinet on the pram instead of popping out the car seat, but I’ve not had to buy another one (for one car anyway, we’ve gone for another Axkid (Minikid 2) for our second car & a Britax Maxway for the grandparents now they’re a bit bigger.

If she’s growing that fast then I assume she’s high centiles? What is she tracking at in her red book? If she’s high centiles then you don’t want a 18kg limit seat as she will outgrow this before it’s safe to forward face. If she’s light but carries a lot of height then most of these seats also have a 105cm height limit so she could outgrow by height before weight. If she’s above 50th centile you should look at a higher weight ERF seat, like the Axkid Minikid or Britain Max Safe, which have 36kg /125cm limits. So you’re not buying a seat and then having to buy another one in 2 years. That said even a high centiles baby should last in most infant carriers to around 15 - 18 months. How long is the foreseeable future, because if it’s 6-8 month then just keep your carrier. You can’t get a next stage (toddler) seat that has a base you leave in the car. Even with isofix the seat is fixed to the base and everything had to come out together. Isofix isn’t any safer than a belt install if you are doing it right, and a seatbelt fit will give you more flexibility to put it in every car. You could look at something like an Axkid Minikid, but this does need lower tethers to install so could be time consuming. You could look at the Joie Everystage R129, which is belt fit and fairly budget friendly, and good to 22kg and 105cm rear facing. But, as before, if your child is high centiles in height then this won’t last you to safe forward facing age. But it would be a good stop gap for your situation. TLDR - make sure you know centiles before you buy and look at the max weight of the seat against her growth curve. Belt fit will be fine. Stick to the reputable brands (Britax, Joie, Cybex)

Both my kids sit in their child seat since day 1, no exceptions. We use Britax Romer seats, they are the ones that are used in the actual crash tests.
