I have the Britax Willow Brook travel system and it has been really good so far. Stroller wasn't great in deep snow (SK) but now that it's spring there aren't any issues. It doesn't come with the bassinet attachment, though you can buy it separately if you want. My SIL has the Evenflo Pivot that can eventually be a double and I believe she has been liking it!

We got the Britax Willow Brook S+ travel system. It’s an infant car seat that transfers to the stroller base and also comes with a regular stroller seat and a few accessories. Good safety ratings and similar idea to the Donna at a slightly lower price

Hi, I have a toddler and we started traveling when our child was 6 months old. As with most first time parents traveling with an infant, we tried to plan everything to the smallest detail. Like you, I was concerned about any vehicle having the safest infant car seats. We decided to bring a Britax combination car seat and stroller travel system during the first few trips because we weren't sure how good the hotel's infant car seats would be. As it turned out, this proved to be a good decision as, apart from the important safety issue, we could move around easily whilst our baby was in the stroller. Secondly, we always book transfers through the hotel. And to the extent possible, we opted to book the hotel cars and drivers to move around. It takes the unpredictability out of travel situations. Also traffic can be terrible in many cities and navigating your own way around unfamiliar places can add unnecessary stress. One other tip I would add is we always picked a property with a kitchenette. This was always so important for us because I was bringing baby bottles and formula. From your list above I can confirm The Ritz Carlton Vienna had a suite with a kitchenette. For the French Riviera, we like the villas at La Reserve Ramatuelle (\*we find this property particularly small child friendly as it's quieter, more subdued than other places in the same category.)

We chose our car seat (the Britax Willow S) based on safety ratings and price! Check out a comparison if safety ratings here: https://www.babygearlab.com/topics/vehicle-safety/best-car-seats

I have a britax willow car seat and a doona and my baby screamed 😬 until like 4 weeks ago. (She’s 4 months) I tried toys, The Happy Song, white noise, brown noise everything, mirror. The only thing that helped was calming Forest, bird and nature sounds on Spotify. And our car rides are so much more enjoyable/ calm. And she actually naps now I would say try nature sounds and see if it works!! I wish you luck! We live 45 mins away from anything and hearing her scream would kill me

U.S. NICU based CPST here- My favorite seat for small babies is the Evenflo Litemax, specifically [this one](https://www.evenflo.com/products/pivot-xpand-travel-system-litemax-infant-car-seat) due to the supportive insert. It has harness adjustments that make it fit small babies *beautifully.* I would personally suggest making the hip and crotch buckle adjustments for a 3-6lb baby yourself prior to bringing the car seat in, because not all nurses (or even CPSTs) realize that these adjustments exist. But when done correctly I don’t think there’s anything else that fits a small baby so well. Some other really great options for 4lb babies at different price points: - Evenflo NurtureMax (also has small baby adjustments I suggest doing yourself- this one is almost as great as the Litemax!) - Chicco Keyfit 22/30/Max - Britax Willow (also has small baby adjustments I suggest doing yourself) - Clek Liing - Nuna Pipa Urbn Seats I’d personally avoid for a 4lb baby: - Graco Litemax line (often fits poorly before 7-8 lbs- it’s fixable with certain techniques but I’d rather have a seat that just fits as designed without all that) - baby trend (some will work well with adjustments but some won’t and they’re all hard to adjust) - Uppababy Mesa (huge headrest + awkward insert = poor head position)

The base install is super easy. I like the seat fine - it has lots of harness adjustments, similar to the Evenflo seats, so it can fit any size newborn really well. The insert style isn’t my all time favorite, i like the way it positions newborns but I think it seems like it may be mildly annoying to deal with on a daily basis because the two separate pieces like to shift around in the seat as you put the baby in. That’s a short lived issue since babies won’t need the inserts very long but it’s the thing that sticks out to me about the seat lol

Hey we live in Toronto and purchased Britax Willow S infant car seat for our baby a few days ago from Amazon. However, they sent us the car seat with the manufacturing date of September 2023. As the date was 2 years ago, they sent us another seat but with the same manufacturing date again. Now we have an extra (unopened car seat). It is compatible with the Uppababy adapter. Let me know if you are interested and we can split the cost and keep one car seat each.

I have the Britax Willow car seat with the base and have loved it so far. It’s nice to be able to just pop the seat in and out without worrying about using the seat belt to secure it every time or have to strap my baby in at an awkward angle in the car
