Look at the Chico Fit360. Also rotating, way nicer and better design/engineered than the Evenflo 360 (twin dad and we two of both…) and they sell a separate base. https://www.chiccousa.com/shop-our-products/car-seats/fit360-cleartex-rotating-convertible-car-seat/79690.html https://www.chiccousa.com/shop-our-products/accessories/car-seat-accessories/fit360-rotating-convertible-car-seat-base/087019.html

The base is easier to install The seat attaches to the base in a more secure manner (needs the special tool attached to the adjuster belt to remove. Evenflo can be removed in middle of the rotation) Seat feels more secure when locked Seat harness is smoother when adjusting

I had someone recommend 2 strollers and I thought they were out of their mind. I fought it and got the Nuna trvl and Pipa. I loved it. However, baby LOVED going on long walks. Not necessarily great in the Nuna combo, but now I know the new version (lx) flat. I still debate though because it’s not as smooth as a ride and truly designed for quick errands and airport travel (which it works great for). So at about 2 months I started looking for a bigger stroller because of the long walks. I went with the Cruz V2 and got the car seat attachment (through Nuna - NOT UB) for it. I thought, “wtf am I doing?! This is ridiculous!! I hate that I’m spending this money on this if we don’t use it that often.” This sucker is now my everyday. I really only use the Nuna when we travel for the weekends because we need more trunk space or airport travel. The UB is way sturdier, handles more of my day-to-day bs (I’m rough with stuff), steers nicely, isn’t too heavy (but does take up a considerable amount of space & some airlines do not allow you to gate check it), and the basket is FREAKING GREAT. I’ve really put it to the test with weight capacity. Moral of the story: my friend was right. If you can afford it, go for 2. One light for travel and one for everyday use. As for the car seat, having a true infant one has been great so I don’t wake up my LO when napping. For the most part, we don’t stop our days for napping. The LO is either strapped to us or in the car seat if we’re on the go. The infant seat allows our LO to continue sleeping without being disturbed. With that said, the LO is now getting heavier (7 months) and we just bought the chicco 360 zip. We’re excited to use it come August, maybe? I’m literally waiting until she reaches the height/weight limit of the Nuna Pipa before switching. That’s how much we like the convenience of the infant seat. Chicco usually has 20% off sales. I think they’re having one now for Father’s Day.

Honestly, I’d go with the UB system as a whole. Something I never thought about when shopping for car seats is the way you carry it. Instead of holding by the handle (like a farmers carry), it’s much easier to wrap your arm around it, grasping the bottom knob. The UB car seat actually had the curve in the handle to this. The Nuna doesn’t. But it’s not a make or break. I love our Pipa. It’s fairly easy to take apart and clean… which you will be doing. So I’d look to see how easy car seats are to disassemble & reassemble. That’s why for our new one we went with the Chicco 360 zip. Overall, I’d go UB if I did it all over again. It’s just better made. The leather handles on the stroller are nicer than the Nuna. The UB Cruz V2 is a much smoother ride. Sure, it’s kind of a bus in small spaces… but it’s a bus that I can put more shit in, takes a beating, is easy to fold and unfold, & I feel the seat doesn’t show as much dirt (I have the Anthony color). The main difference between the vista and Cruz (besides 2 kids vs 1) was the magnetic buckle and all-weather seat. If I was still in FL I would have gotten the vista bc of the seat…. But I’m not so we didn’t really need it. I also was not allowed to gate check the UB for American and Delta airlines (this was last month)… so that’s when I’m glad I had the Nuna Trvl bc that went with us instead. I chose the Cruz v2 bc I’m not planning on having a second child in this country until I’m safer as pregnant person. I had a miscarriage before my LO and unable to get the emergency care I needed. If you go with the UB/Pipa combo then get the Pipa adapter from Nuna. The UB adapter for the Pipa car seat is trash. Just straight garbage tbh. Here’s a [YouTube](https://youtu.be/SRaSf75hCUY?si=iZi6gHyZH5DvARkg) video on how to carry a car seat.

Chicco 360 and it’s the best! Obviously the turning itself is the main feature, but I haven’t really found a downside yet. Aside the the turning convenience, I also got it bc we plan to have a second baby, so if we only have one kid, we can easily adjust the car seat to whoever the rider is (forward or back facing, plus the height adjustment takes like 5 seconds to move up/down). You could easily go from a small baby to bigger child adjustment in 3 minutes (which would mostly be popping in the inserts). It also felt the most secure base/seat wise of the turning car seats imo. Plus the removal of the seat from the base is super easy, so you could theoretically just buy to bases and move the seat from car to car to save money. But my husband just got his own car seat for his car. It also looks super comfy, has removable cup holder to clean easily, has an easy magnetic chest clip that’s great for a squirmy baby, super easy strap tightening/adjusting, has a removable washable cover, etc. We had the Chicco keyfit 35 as an infant car seat and loved it. This is basically all the same convenience of that plus more. I also have a small compact car, and it still fits. I do keep my seat close to the front though, so if you’re tall it prob would need more room.

I would skip the travel system. Buy a car seat and a stroller that you like. A lot of brands have adaptors to fit whatever car seat you want (I think Chicco is the exception here - they don’t have adaptors for their strollers). We got a Chicco bravo/keyfit travel system with my oldest. He HATED that seat and we switched him to a convertible seat by 5 months. We reused it for my second and she ALSO hated it. I got a nicer Graco seat for her and it changed everything. We also weren’t huge fans of the Chicco stroller but it folded easily and was one of the few at the time that had an adjustable handle height. We ditched that stroller for a nicer one (mockingbird) with #2 (I suggest starting with a single to double stroller if you want to have more kids in the future) and the nicer stroller had a universal car seat adaptor, but we only took her in the stroller in the car seat a few times. I primarily babywore whenever we went shopping and the stroller is just for walks. You can skip the bucket seat all together if you want and go straight to a rotating seat (we have the Chicco fit360 and love it), the bucket seat is just convenient for taking into the doctors office or wherever when they’re super fresh or getting them buckled in inside in the winter/summer.

Eh my kids never slept through taking the bucket seat out of the car so that wasn’t really a concern of mine when swapping to a convertible seat. The bucket seats are just convenient because in those super early days you want to be able to set baby down somewhere (outside of the house) easily to fill out forms or do shopping but you don’t want to set your newborn on the ground in the doctor’s office, so having the bucket seat is really nice. My kids just hated the *chicco* bucket, my daughter loved her Graco one. The chicco one always had her chin on her chest even when the bubble level said it was in properly and I think she just couldn’t breathe well. It may have been that way for my oldest too but we were inexperienced and didn’t know better. For the stroller, I just suggest building your own travel system instead of buying one already paired up. Travel sets force you into buying a car seat you don’t like because you want the stroller or a stroller that’s mid because you like the car seat. But so many brands of strollers have adaptors to work with other brands of car seats so you don’t have to compromise on either. I only mentioned Chicco because they’re the only brand I know of that doesn’t have adaptors for other brands (Graco is usually their main competition but I think even Graco has adaptors for some brands)

I currently have their travel system, the 360 convertible car seat, baby carrier, and waiting on their bassinet. I have the bassinet on my registry but not sure what I wanna do yet …I might just want out baby to use their crib from the start.

Bassinets are so pricey!!! And you only use them for a few months. Oh I have the chicco playpen in my registry - it has a bassinet and diaper changing attachment so I feel like MAYBE I can use that as a bassinet if need be. I don’t know. Yeah get the carrier! And girl the car seat MUST be a rotating one! We have to protect our backs 😆

How many kids? What kind of car seats? How tall are you? We had a chicco key fit rear-facing mounted in the middle of the back seat and it was totally fine. We’ve changed to a chicco swivel one mounted behind the passenger seat and, as a tall person, I don’t really fit in the passenger seat anymore. But, that car seat and base is enormous.

I have the Chicco360 in my car and the Graco premier extend2fit in my husband’s and in laws cars. I have no problems with either! The chicco has been a breeze to use.

I was overwhelmed when I was pregnant with all the choices and ended up getting the Graco Modes Nest stroller. We used a convertible car seat from birth. We brought baby home from the hospital in it. I looked on consumer reports .com and ended up getting a Chicco convertible seat for my car. The plan was to use the infant bucket seat in my husbands car but we never installed it in his car and just used my car when we took the places. The Graco stroller is heavy but any big stroller like that would be heavy. I liked that the bassinet and toddler seat where one piece so we didn’t have to spend extra money or store extra items in our small condo. I like that the Graco stroller came with the snack tray cup holder. My kiddo ate a lot of snacks out of it while on walks. We used the bucket seat in the stroller exclusively because once kiddo was old enough he didn’t want to lay down in the bassinet he wanted to be sitting in the bucket seat and looking at everything. I liked that the basket was very large and could hold lots of groceries, toys, pool stuff. I liked that the seat was reversible so I could see baby on walks. My toddler started walking well at 12 months. He has a ride in plastic Step 2 car that I can push him around in for walks that he prefers now. I want to get him a push trike soon. For not needing a giant big stroller really past 12 months I’m happy I didn’t spend $$$ on an uppa baby or nuna. I bought a $70 travel stroller that I preferred to use once he could sit up because it was easier to pick up and get in and out of my car.
