I agree with other posters that it’s most practical to have the infant seat - especially in winter. That said, I recently bought the Callisto for my 12 month old and it’s an incredible seat.

I just got the Callisto and absolutely love it, but I have one year-old. I used the Nuna pipa as an infant car seat and would never skip it. They sleep so much and it’s a pain to take them in and out, especially in the winter.

We love our cybex Callisto rotating car seat!!! I have a large baby and it helps me so much! I love that it will be the last car seat that we will have to buy bc it converts all the way up to a booster seat. My boy hated his pumpkin seat and is so much more comfortable in the car (and so are my eardrums 😆)

I'm in the same boat as well. My baby outgrowing infant seat soon and was considering the callisto for the fact of easier spin to the side to put in and out since I put car seat in middle. I also have libelle2 for travel. I saw that some people using a cheaper car seat for airplane travel and buying the car seat travel dolly to place the seat on there and pull it through the airport. It seems that may be the cheaper option.

I really, really love my Cybex Callisto and so does my baby. She hated her infant car seat (Nuna Pipa aire rx) so much that we switched to it around 3 months.

r/beyondthebumpHow did you decide on a car seat? Baby is 10 months and I think outgrowing Clek liing soon.

I researched what I wanted in a seat and picked one….. hated it…. Bought another I love. It’s the Cybex Callisto with the sunshade. Omg it’s fabulous. All my issues with the Evenflo 360 are fixed with the Callisto. I love it so much. One of my favorite purchases. (Highly recommended buying it through Albee Baby because you can get rebates back. We got like $130 to spend on other things.)

Yeah I went real bougie with the convertible car seat and got the Cybex Callisto G 360 lol, but I told myself it’s okay since I spent $0 on car seats so far and we’ll still be using the Clek in my husbands car until he grows out of it.

I went real bougie and did the Cybex Callisto G 360 haha. Since I was gifted an infant seat I felt okay spending more!

We just moved my 14 month old into a Cybex Callisto G (she was in a Nuna Pipa as a baby) and love it. Top priority for me was safety (including extended rear facing), followed by comfort and convenience (ie rotating). The Callisto G checked all my boxes and then some. It's quite pricey, but had more to offer than any of the Nuna options. The most comparable would be the Nuna Exec, but that one doesn't rotate and doesn't have a canopy. I checked out less expensive options in-person (the Graco, Evenflo and Chicco rotating seats) and was unimpressed with the comfort in comparison to the Nuna and Cybex options, so if that's a high priority for you, I'd recommend considering the Cybex! [I got ours from Albee Baby](https://www.albeebaby.com/products/cybex-callisto-g-360-rotating-all-in-one-convertible-car-seat-almond-beige) and got 15% off, but you can get up to 20% off if you take the "albee rewards" instead.

Hi I recently (two days ago) checked the Callisto 360 at gate check with no problems. I ordered a travel bag and had to just flip the direction of the car seat to fit the bag (head to feet) It seems to travel well and didn’t have any issues when i installed it in the new car! I had been looking for ANYONE to review flying with the specific car seat for months now but it looks like I might be one of the first? Ha. LMK if you want me to direct you to the travel bag i ordered or any other questions! Most importantly make sure it has wheels :)
