Connect3 RXT Backless Booster (Latch)

I wish that I had considered the number of kids I was going to have. I drive a Subaru Forester and have three kids. When I was pregnant with my third I realized that I either needed a bigger car (expensive) or narrower car seats. I bought narrow seats and they’ve been great. I can get three in a row in my car and in my mom’s car and her car is quite small. I’ll probably get a bigger car at some point, but I didn’t want to have to rush to get a new car while car prices were so out of control high, even for used cars (my third was born in 2023). I have a friend who is pregnant with her third now and is having the same bigger car vs. narrower car seats discussion.

I have a Subaru Forester and the Diono Radian 3R seats. I have a Diono backless booster too. My 6 year old is in the middle in the booster and my 4 year old (forward facing) and my 2 year old (rear facing) are on the sides. They fit fine with no issues and I have very tall kids. I’m pretty sure my mom has a Diono backless booster and two Graco Slim Fit seats in her car and they also all fit fine in hers. She has a little Tesla, so I was worried it would be tough to fit them all, but there’s no issue. They also all fit fine in my parents’ RAV4.

Currently have 3 slim (Diono) car seats in the back of our Outback and the back our a smaller Crosstrek. I thought we needed a new car but new car seats was a much better solution for us.

I used the litemax with my first and she was content in it. Later we got the Graco 4ever and she was okay with it but we got a third car seat the diono slim and she loves this one.

I have three boosters in my ‘24 and it is tight. Three full-size, double cupholder childseat Britax will not fit (have them and tried). To get the fit you have to buy special slim seats and I’ll second the mentioned Diono brand.
