Doona - i Series

We got a Doona (with isofix) for the first couple of months, still very happy about that decision! We also got a second hand stroller with convertible bassinet (2 in 1). Besides those first purchases for the first couple of months, we got 1-2-3 car seats with isofix for both kids for when they grew out of the Doona (I can't remember the brand). We had our baby registry at Dreambaby and with the extra coupon you got (a percentage of what was sold from the list), we bought the car seat. When they got too big for the second hand stroller, we bought a Maclaren stroller (easy to fold and didn't take up too much room in the car). We always tried to take into account safety, combined with not using up too much room or storage, because babies come with a lot of stuff!

Thanks everyone! I actually was able to buy a second hand new 2022 doona that isn’t expired so I will have that. The tutorial seems easy for install without a base. I appreciate all the feedback!

I believe the following is the case: Doona sells 2 separate car seats: a US and an EU car seat. The EU version cannot be shipped to the US. From their website: "Chest clips are not a requirement in the US, but we included them on the US version because chest clips are found on many US car seats. Whereas chest clips are illegal in European car seats (certified R44), so an EU Doona cannot have one." "If you are traveling to Europe for a short trip, then it is perfectly acceptable to bring a US Doona. But if you are relocating to Europe, even if it is not permanently but for an extended period of time (like, for example, the lifespan of the Doona usage), then we recommend buying the EU model of the Doona. This goes for all car seats. The safety standards adhere to only one country and not multiple standards."
