In an SUV captain's chair I'd prefer the Evenflo Extend over the slim. The main perk of the Slim is that it fits better in side-to-side sedan benches I don't have experience with the Graco
We have the Evenflo 360 (original) in a Honda CRV and like it. It fits well with legroom up front for both my 6’1” husband and my 5’8” self.
We have two Evenflor Revolve360, a slim with a quick clean cover and a regular one. Both are great. Very worth it. They can do front and rear facing. Basically, they do every stage of "car seat" except a booster, which is the cheeapest to buy seperately. One reason we wanted these is that they can do rear facing for much longer, especially in terms of weight, than many other carseats can. I think all the Revolve360s go up to 45 or 50 lbs rear facing.
I love our Evenflo Revolve. We have the Extend model which rear faces up to 50lb and the Green & Gentle version which has no chemical flame retardants. Both were important to me.
The Revv has really really low weight and height limits for rear facing, I would avoid it. We have the Evenflo Revolve Extend Green & Gentle model. Extend for extended rear facing, Green & Gentle for no chemical flame retardants. We really like it, it’s pretty easy to install, it rotates both forward and rear facing, etc. we will probably get another one for the next kid.
Sometimes the buckle gets turned upside down but that doesn’t happen that often to us and when it does it only takes a second to flip it back (look up the triangle trick on YouTube if you don’t know how)
I have a Nissan Rogue (similar size to RAV4) and we’ve been using the Evenflo 360 Gold Extend model since birth, so rear facing at a pretty steep recline. I have it behind the drivers seat and can sit comfortably there, though I keep my seat pretty far forward anyway. My 6’1” husband can also drive comfortably but again he doesn’t care to have the seat super far back. It’s been great. We chose the Evenflo because it has the highest rear-facing weight limits. And they have a “green and gentle” model that doesn’t use chemical flame retardants.
It does, but I’m not sure if we will use it that way. We might just get a cheaper booster seat and use this for another smaller kid we have by then, depending on how the ages work out. From watching my friends with kids, having a more portable booster seat seems advantageous as they’re more likely to be doing things like carpooling with friends to school, camp, activities, sleepovers, etc. Also why we didn’t care about a crib that converts to toddler bed. We’ll just get a cheaper toddler bed and use the crib for the next kid. It’s a nice to have feature but not a must for us :)
We got the Evenflo 360 Extend with Green and Gentle Fabric. Not inexpensive, but we love it.
We love it! Doesn't really matter when they're tiny, but it's really nice with a squirming toddler. It's a lot easier getting them in and out.

Then I would return it and repurchased if the promo ever does return, but I think I’m getting it for a good price since they’re usually $469 on their website and $429 on Amazon. Please tell me I made the right choice vs Graco DLX Grad

I ended up choosing the Evenflo Revolve 360 Extend Gold. I hope I made the right choice, considering how highly praised the one that costly sells and the price. 😭
I bought the Evenflo Revolve 360 Gold Extend, do you think I still need to purchase another one for my wife’s car? she almost always never drive the car without me, but I’m sure there’ll be a time she’ll have to. It’s either I set the car seat up for her on that day and take it back or purchase another car seat
