Crib - no. We changed our mind to a floor bed after the crib, so the toddler bed is useless to us. We *may* use the full bed setting when he's grown grown, but I don't really see that happening now that we're in it. Carseat - yes, but not right away. We started with a travel system stroller + carseat and I wouldn't change that. But once he started to outgrow that carseat, we got him a convertible one to get him through the rest of his carseat time. I love it, too, I just wouldn't start with it because the ability to move the carseat in and out of the car is too nice. ETA: using the travel system also meant that our stroller worked from newborn - now! He still loves it. Baby Bathtub - yeah, we used every stage as we needed it for his ability to sit. Stander Play-thing - love it. It was a great place to set him for when I needed a shower, helped him develop standing muscles (his PT encouraged it), and then became a fun toy when we took the seat out and he could play with it. He still plays with it at 2 years old. That's all the convertible stuff we got, I think.
r/BabyBumps • Is it worth buying the “convertible” baby stuff? ->For the diaper bag I just got a cooler back pack haha. It’s big enough that it fits everything I need especially for 2+ kids. It’s been very durable. Stroller it depends on your needs. I just got a travel system on sale. Car seat I got a Graco that grows with the kid. The one that I picked didn’t weigh much so that was a plus. For car we got a mini van and I love it! It’s so spacious and it’s so easy to put the kids on there without much struggle. Especially when space is limited (cars are parked next us). I think it’s good if you’re planning on having more than 1 kid. But even with one I still would’ve bought it.
r/BabyBumps • Tell me what freaking diaper bag, car seat and stroller to buy. My brain is melting. ->Agreed on your comment about “think about your lifestyle.” For us, we like to travel, live in the city and didn’t want to carry around a bulky stroller so we opted for the Zen yoyo. Just came back from our first trip and it was a great stroller (we spotted the same stroller a lot among other parents). For car seats, we got something like a Graco 4in1 where you can still use it to toddler age. For diaper bag, could’ve gone without one and used any type of bag but we got the LLB and that worked well as a carry on/diaper bag.

r/beyondthebump • Let's talk car seats... ->My kindergartner has a convertible car seat. She is in the booster configuration, which is a high back booster. We transitioned her a little earlier than we intended because the 5point was starting to trigger her car sickness more as she grew. Our second car, we have Graco booster for the rare times both kids have to be different places.
r/kindergarten • Car seats? ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
