commenting on this so i can come back later. we have the joie steadi r129 as a travel seat but haven't tried her in it in about a year, she's the same measurements as your little girl right now. i'll get it out this morning and try her in it and let you know what the fit is like and how much growing space is left :) it's a fantastic travel seat, really lightweight and easy to fit. the graco extend lx r129 is the exact same seat just different fabrics and it's usually cheaper

I wouldn't rent one, you can't trust the condition or whether it's actually suitable for your child. Joie Steadi R129 if they're under 105cm & 18kg. If not, you might need the TinyseatsTwo which is up to 125cm/25kg but does require the car to have Isofix points.

Yes I did the same and the Joie Steadi is kept with the grandparents for them to use.

The ones with the leg spin I think. My father in law has a joie steadi r129 (doesnt spin and is secured with the seat belt) and my baby hates it. It seems very uncomfortable because its very narrow and has very little space for the legs (baby touches the seat in the steadi but cant even reach if he tries in the harbour). Can you test the all stages at a shop?
