Get one that grows with them, if you can afford it. The Maxi Cosi Emerald 360, is from birth to age 12. The lost important thing is to check the safety regulations and try not to buy secondhand, if you can, because you don't know what's happened for sure and carseats that have been in accidents are void. If you think the person you're buying from is trustworthy, in terms of if it's been in an accident, then still make sure to check the expiration date.  Check safety regulations of everything, before buying. I don't think things like Doonas are as safe as normal car seats, that stay in the car, for example. Transferring them into the buggy/baby carrier isn't that much faff. And on baby carriers, make sure you research them properly because most will lie about being safe from birth, when they aren't. It's better to use a stretchy sling for newborns and transfer them into a baby carrier when they're a few months old

It depends on your lifestyle. Only once did I ever put the car seat on the pram wheels. Once! I wouldn’t bother next time. It really depends how much you use your car. I get online food deliveries and we tended to use the bus or walk when she was tiny. Once she was 8m I switched to the maxi cosi emerald 360 and it’s so much better. Some of these 360 ones aren’t brill from birth though so I’d definitely read the reviews.

I have a bugaboo fox 5 and used the car seat attachment once! It depends so much on lifestyle. I’m now pregnant with my 2nd and I suspect we’ll use it more because I’ll be on the go more and in the car more. We switched to the maxi cosi emerald recently and it’s so good. I’d recommend that as a toddler/child seat. It’s 360. Totally up to you if you think you’ll need the newborn one.

We have the maxi cosi emerald and really like it. My daughter (13m) falls asleep in it instantly so it must be comfortable! She had a different one (nuna turtle air) as a newborn and hated it. I don’t know how good the emerald is for newborns as I haven’t tried it, so you might be better with a newborn car seat in the beginning. I’m pregnant again and this time I’ll get a maxi cozi newborn one.

We did start with a maxi cosi pebble 360 pro as car seat. Now we use the maxi cosi emerald 360 s. Our stroller is thule spring. We made these choices because of comfort of both, child and parent, and safety.

The ones on your screenshot are actually cheap in comparison. A good 3-in-1 system starts from 3000 AED. We paid 750+ euros for 3-in-1 Maxi-Cosi in Spain… Apart from the car seat, I recommend buying the rest second hand, just spend time on thorough cleaning. Literally everything made for babies and toddlers is a huge ripoff that in fact doesn’t have to be brand new, and pre-loved would be just fine.

I have used a Maxi-Cosi 360 of some sort, Cybex cloud z I-size and a sirona (interchangeable on same swivel base) and a seatbelt chomping one too, all on the back seats. For the isofix ones I bought an adapter from Bezos. I don’t put them in the front because they are savages and my front seats are custom upholstered recaros but I much preferred the stability of the isofix adapter.

We like our maxi cosi 360. We have two, one for each car.

We have the maxi-cosi rotating seat, which was one of the smaller ones on the market. It's wider than the rotating Graco one that fits into our larger SUV and not as tall. However, the passenger seat is pushed up almost all the way. I can sit there fine at 5'5, but my husband's (5'10) knees would crash into the glove compartment if I have to stop suddenly.
