Maxi-Cosi - Halo 360 Rotating Convertible Car Seat

Theres a couple Maxi cosi halo - being replaced with the raia (same seat different name). I have this one and love it, it’s extended rear facing, my roughly average 10 month old hasn’t hit the first marker yet so I’m quietly confident it will last rear facing for about 4 years. Joie 360 - not extended rear facing as per the manufacturer but the marker measurements are close to seats that are so there’s a lot of speculation it would last quite some time in rear facing mode. Nuna 360 (dunno the actual name) - nuna have pretty bad reviews for head flop caused by the positioning of the head rest, I’ve only looked at it and it looks a lot like their other seats so I would be cautious that it has the same issue. There’s a couple of fb groups dedicated to AUS car seats - some are a bit full on but I’ve found them overall helpful in terms of getting the harness fit right and install if that’s something you were curious about.

Maxi Cosi Halo/Raia (which is the Halo re-released with a few mods) or Nuna Rylo. The Joie 360 seat isn’t extended rear facing. I’d probably go the Maxi Cosi personally, I’m not a fan of Nuna seats and Maxi Cosi have been smashing it out of the park lately with their new seats (Pria, Tuva, Mico12 capsule are all fabulous seats). Do be aware that the 360 seats are bulky - they won’t work in a 3-across situation due to their size.

Absolutely love our Maxi Cosi (Halo which I think is being upgraded to Raia). Makes getting in/out so much easier with a wriggly baby and in tight spots

I have used a Maxi-Cosi 360 of some sort, Cybex cloud z I-size and a sirona (interchangeable on same swivel base) and a seatbelt chomping one too, all on the back seats. For the isofix ones I bought an adapter from Bezos. I don’t put them in the front because they are savages and my front seats are custom upholstered recaros but I much preferred the stability of the isofix adapter.

We have the maxi-cosi rotating seat, which was one of the smaller ones on the market. It's wider than the rotating Graco one that fits into our larger SUV and not as tall. However, the passenger seat is pushed up almost all the way. I can sit there fine at 5'5, but my husband's (5'10) knees would crash into the glove compartment if I have to stop suddenly.
