Yep I got the nuna exec and won’t have to think of a car seat until they no longer need it

When we went to Boston from San Francisco, we checkedin the car seat. The kiddo was miserable, since she couldn't see outside, and when she fell asleep in the seat, there wasn't much support. When we flew back from Boston to San Francisco, I placed the carseat on on the plane and it was wonderful. When she felt asleep, the carseat kept her upright. The carseat (Nuna Exec) was heavy, but the airline allowed us to board early as to not be in the way of everyone else. It took me a few minutes to secure to the seat, since I watched some video on how to do it. The car seat should be FAA approved. That being said, I found it useful to have a bag for the carseat when its not being used or moved about in the airport. The bag we got was full of dirt, while the carseat was nice and clean.

If price isn’t super bothersome, we purchased the Nuna Exec. I honestly love it, although it’s heavy. But I like that it will fit my kiddo until he doesn’t need to be in a booster. And my kiddo is at 97% for height for 2.5.

Also, voting for the Exec! It's so easy to get a really secure install, and my daughter finds it the most comfortable out of any seat we've tried. She's in high percentiles for both height and weight at 27 months. It also fits really well in my car while rear facing. Other seats we tried made it so anyone in the front barely had any leg room, but not with the Exec! I'm expecting my second and plan on purchasing another Exec soon because we love the first one so much. My only negatives with this seat are that it is too big to easily travel with and the fabric is sewn onto the seat instead of a washable cover. However, I've always found it easier to have a seat in each vehicle anyway, so we have a seat better suited for travel in my husband's car when we need it (I'm a stay at home mom and have an SUV so my car is used for child/family transport 95% of the time) and I use a Bissell upholstery cleaner on the seat when I need to clean it which works super well. ETA: Since it is such an expensive seat, if you have any close friends or family in the military, they can contact Nuna for a discount code that works on the Exec. It is the only discount I've found that works, and these seats really don't go on sale.

We got a car seat cart off of Amazon and took our normal car seat with us. We've flown several times with the nuna exec which is huge and heavy and it's been fine.

Our seat is FAA approved too and we've never had an issue. Find the FAA label on the seat in advance, we've had the flight attendant ask to see the label on the seat. It's usually on the side or bottom. It doesn't fit through the scanner in security so they usually swab it and push on the padding. You have to carry it on the plane so a second person is necessary to carry it on. Definitely ask if one of you can board early to install it. I've never had a problem installing it (lift arm rests) in a plane yet and yeah they have to be in the window seat. I definitely feel a car seat is the safest for my kid on a plane and then we have it for our trip. I'm also really familiar with our car seat and confident in installing it in both planes and different cars.

100% would buy the revv again, makes it so much easier to not bonk the kids head trying to get him in the seat, and i imagine i would prefer the revv until he wants to climb in himself. Got the exec for our 2nd car and like the seat but miss the swivel

If you want to rear face as long as possible, just buy a Graco extend2fit. They are great! We went with the ones that have the anti-rebound bar, because why not have a little extra safety. Our other seats are Nuna Execs, which are much more expensive, but no better. Sometimes harder to snug up the harness.

I also have exec, but the straps seem to like to twist a lot and it particularly confuses my husband so not totally sure if I can recommend it, but I also haven’t tried any others!

I’m expecting my baby in August. I bought a 10 year old Bumbleride from FB marketplace with a bassinet attachment so she can use it as an infant. I’ve struggled with the car seat thing big time as my husband and I both drive / may bring her to daycare. I opted for the Nuna Pipa for her time as an infant in the primary vehicle. I am hoping to transition her to the Nuna Exec once she grows out of the Pipa. I think we are also getting the Chico Cleartex for my husband’s vehicle.

We also have the era. I love that you can recline it flat for walks. We got nuna car seat because I liked the materials and it's very light. I'm not sure if it'll fit in a small car (it fits great in my Rav) but definitely another option to look into. I found the Chicco car seat very heavy and bulky in comparison

Our nuna car seats are hands down the best. We’ve bought cheap brands for travel + the maxi cosi’s for grandparents cars to compare. The nuna feels the sturdiest, highest end, and the thing doesn’t budge. It’s also incredibly comfortable and grows with your kids.

I think you'll be happy with either stroller - but I would really recommend looking at Nuna car seats instead of UB. UB just doesn't design their seats as well and there are more issues with fit than Nuna ever has. Do you expect another kid in the near future? I prefer the fold of the Demi to the Vista. I get so annoyed with closing the Vista and opening it, but it is a dream to push! I also love that the Demi comes with a built in mosquito net, and the second kid seat is not reduced limits like on the Vista. I never even tried the Demi unfortunately and I regret it!!

My biggest suggestion is to test drive them if you can. My requirement was one that I could maneuver one handed as I walk the the dog at the same time. I was able to get a Nuna off Craigslist for a good price, so that's what we went with. So far I am happy with its maneuverability and how easy it is to click in the cars eat, Bassinet, etc. It is a bit on the heavy side though and takes up a lot of trunk space in the car.

Yeah, we had major sticker shock looking at strollers. I checked the 2nd hand market every day to see if we could snag either a nuna or uppababy. Eventually, I got super lucky, and the Nuna came up at a very reasonable price with multiple attachments. Typically, the car seat is sold separately from the stroller. You can mix and match some brands if you get the right attachment. I know you can use the Nuna car seat with the uppababy stroller.

Keep the Nuna carseat, get a Cybex Gazelle with bassinet attachment and/or Nuna carseat adapter attachment. Done.

I don’t have a full system but the nuna car seat and its adapters work well with our stroller (babyzen yoyo). We do find it’s easier to release one side at a time.

I’m a third time mom. I have a 17, 15 and 22 month old. The Nuna Car Seat is a splurge but well worth it! I am a registered nurse turned stay at home mom so believe me when I say it’s compact, simple to use and durable!

I just scored a deal for a Nuna car seat and stroller system through Crate & Barrel, about $350 off around a month or two ago? Color wasn’t my top choice (we got the navy/ocean blue and I love the look of the black and the brown leather detail, but for almost $400 off I’ll take the navy lol)

I also went with the Doona for travel and uppababy for the stroller / bassinet. However, I read a ton of similar complaints about the car seat so I went with the Nuna car seat. It easily snaps in to the uppababy with the attachment and works really well.
