"it works with the stroller base (Nuna turtle - 250$), it can be clipped in any car with the seat belts and on arrival attached to the stroller - so the bassinet doesn’t have to be carried too."
"It easily snaps in to the uppababy with the attachment and works really well."
"the nuna car seat and its adapters work well with our stroller (babyzen yoyo)"

"For instance the nuna infant seat needs a rolled towel to get it level in most vehicles."
We have the UPPAbaby Cruz, a bugaboo butterfly, and had the bugaboo turtle air until it was damaged by TSA. I considered this a complete system and I loved it. The Cruz is perfect for big long walks and the bassinet was a lifesaver. The butterfly is great for keeping in the car and travel and any nuna, clek, or maxi Cosi will work with it. We love our butterfly so much that we considered switching to the fox but I don't like the fold in comparison to the Cruz. I would definitely recommend squeezing in the butterfly as part of your system if you can. A lightweight stroller is a godsend. Go for the Cruz since it's cheaper if you can to help with getting the butterfly. And depending on when you're due, maximize sales. We got the Cruz for $525 and the bugaboo turtle air for $325 (they were clearing out stock before coming out with the latest one a few months later). With that you could definitely add the UPPAbaby bassinet and the butterfly and stay within your $1500 budget.
r/Buyingforbaby • Stroller and infant car seat recommendations, budget ~$1500 ->Why not the turtle air? Isn't it basically the same as the nuna but branded for bugaboo? I had the one before the current one and when I had an issue (TSA damaged it, nothing with the car seat itself) I emailed nuna still and they were very helpful so I don't see the difference
r/Buyingforbaby • Stroller and infant car seat recommendations, budget ~$1500 ->Oh that's not true! I thought that before I got one too but it's the same as the Nuna so it works with any stroller that uses the same adapters as nuna, clek, or maxi cosi
r/Buyingforbaby • Stroller and infant car seat recommendations, budget ~$1500 ->I have the bugaboo fox 5 (which I love) and a nuna turtle air car seat (which was free) but I so rarely use the car seat as part of the travel system (taking car seat out and putting it on wheels) that I think I’ll just do some research at some stage and find the best car seat I can find. My friend gave me a costatto 360 car seat and it’s amazing. It does birth - 7 years old. It currently lives in my sister’s house for when I visit by train but I’m tempted to take it for my own car.
r/BabyBumps • Can’t decide on which stroller to get ->Same situation here, living in a city and without a car. We were prioritizing getting a good and reliable stroller for the baby and decided on the Bugaboo fox 5. But we do want to take a few road trips over the summer during our paternity leave and probably also fly so we just looked up the car seat that works with the stroller base (Nuna turtle - 250$), it can be clipped in any car with the seat belts and on arrival attached to the stroller - so the bassinet doesn’t have to be carried too.
r/BabyBumps • Best Infant Car Seat when we have no car? ->We have the Nuna Turtle - little on the heavy side but a great carseat. Compatible with the bugaboo kangaroo
r/nycparents • Infant car seat and strollers for citylife ->My brother and SIL had kids first in our family. My SIL is a little boujee and wanted Nuna everything. I had my son a year after their daughter so they lent my their Nuna carseat and bassinet with base and gifted me the Nuna stroller. I was appreciative but thought $1k for all that mess was excessive. I would not have sprung for it had it not been gifted. I really loved it though. It was so easy. I've lent it to friends. Our Nuna stuff has gone through 6 babies so far. I now have baby #2 5 years later. The infant car seat has since expired so I sprung for a new Nuna so it would fit with the whole system. She sleeps in the bassinet downstairs during the day and I just click that into the stroller for walks then I switch it out with the car seat to go somewhere. The stroller is really nice because even though it's big and heavy duty it travels really well. It's great for just getting over mixed terrain. My friend who borrowed it last wanted a smaller lighter stroller but ended up borrowing mine and using it more because it handled so much better on bumpy roads and terrain. Anyway I'm thankful for my boujee SIL because she was right and it was made my life a lot easier.
r/Buyingforbaby • Are stroller car seat combos worth it, and any low weight recommendations? ->I went with the cheapest Nuna travel system. It was around $800 for both the infant car seat and stroller combined. I’m hoping it’s good enough quality that I can use it for my second. It’s honestly super nice… but getting a stroller and car seat that was green guard certified was a top priority for me. I don’t want my baby exposed to excess chemicals and flame retardant fumes. I really hated that it was so expensive though.
r/BabyBumps • Tell me what freaking diaper bag, car seat and stroller to buy. My brain is melting. ->I think personal preference, personality, first time parents, and overconsumption is a huge part of this. As a FTM, husband and I wanted to splurge specifically on a nuna system (mainly because you didn’t need a base in every car to use and I see resale ones on FB marketplace), but were lucky as heck a grandparent wanted to gift us the funds for it… Aside from that initial planned investment, I asked for pre-loved clothes at my shower. Registered for a microwave sterilizer vs a machine. Couldn’t decide on a carrier bc they are overwhelming to pick and so expensive, so I settled for a boba wrap at least for the newborn phase. Even though they were gifts I wasn’t paying for, I didn’t want to contribute to overconsumption. Curious if there are specific items you are looking for? You got this!
r/NewParents • Is everyone on baby/parenting subs rich?!? ->We decided on nuna when I was around 14 weeks pregnant. Its lightweight and quick to pop in and out of the trunk. It's my one baby purchase I bought during pregnancy that I didn't regret or ended up having to buy another brand. I'd recommend going to a Nordstrom or similar department store that carries them to try them out. We did this and it helped us pick which one fit our needs best.
r/pregnant • Are the Nuna car seat strollers worth the hype? ->Vista car seat is too large and bulky. Get the Nuna travel system. I HATE my uppa baby vista. It’s so large and bulky. I ended up buying the Nuna Triv. I originally bought the Nuna Trvl LX, but returned it
r/NewParents • What stroller/carseat to buy? ->Nuna has one of the highest ratings for ease of installing/latch/use!
r/Buyingforbaby • talk me out of the nuna car seat... or into it! ->I believe it scored the highest in crash safety ratings. It also scored the best in other factors like comfortability, ease of install/use/latch, etc. It’s very expensive, but it’s protecting life. To me, that’s worth everything. If you’re saving money, don’t save on this. Allocate the extra $250 (or whatever difference) into this and cut that amount elsewhere (like the stroller).
r/Buyingforbaby • talk me out of the nuna car seat... or into it! ->Nuna makes an awesome infant carrier we just got two bases
r/Parenting • One baby, two cars often in use... ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
