This is a very thorough explanation of why I looked into them but decided to pass. I bought the narrow one, the Safety 1st Slim All-in-one, because I have a midsize sedan and on occasion want to squeeze two other people in to the back seat. It'll also fit well with two more for a three across configuration when my niece and nephew come to visit in the back seat of my husband's pickup truck. And it was like $125, and I thought that price point was reasonable. I think if I have a second pregnancy I might explore a rotating one for during the pregnancy.

This seat was junk. Never would recommend this. My 4th and last baby was always getting tipped sideways. It didn’t hook snug like any other sears I’ve had with my other girls and it looked dangerous if we ever got into an accident. We are up on car seat safety and this was definitely not.
