I have the baby jogger city select single to double - tons of different configurations, can do two bucket seats when they’re bigger or a bucket seat and bassinet, or bucket and get adapters for the infant car seat, etc. They’re super durable and can handle any terrain and can easily convert back to a single if you don’t want the big double at times. Even better is you can find them for super cheap on Facebook marketplace in really great condition because they were the trendy stroller brand a while ago, just in case you didn’t feel like spending a ton on Nuna or UppaBaby (I did have the Nuna infant car seat and was able to purchase adapters for it to fit easily into the Baby Jogger frame
r/2under2 • Best Stroller/Travel system ->Honestly there isn’t a stroller that’s truly easy to push in the snow with the bassinet attachment. I would plan to wear the baby the first winter, that way you can also keep the baby close and warm. But you would have to get either a jogger or a more high end full size stroller. My baby jogger city select did pretty well in the snow but when baby was very little it was just too cold to take him out much in the stroller and we baby wore instead
r/BabyBumpsCanada • Looking for stroller recommendations [Mb] ->I have twins and another two years younger. We got passes starting when the twins were 18 mo. And went almost weekly. I often went alone and I’ve tried it all- I had a triple stroller that is like a bob with a raised 3rd seat, citi select, and we’ve tried umbrella strollers. I liked my bob-like gargantuan triple the best. I liked having everyone and all the things in one place. I just took it slow when walking and didn’t rush around: but you’d need to do that with any stroller. The umbrellas only have a few major advantages, IMO- getting on/off the trams, trains and monorails. I used to just skip them all together with the bigger stroller and walk. The downside, on the other hand, is whenever you go on a ride, CMs will move your stroller and finding two would be a hassle. You have less ideal storage. Pushing umbrella strollers can be a pain, especially if you’re tall.

They'll ask you a few questions about you're lifestyle and where you may use it, and will narrow you down to a few options from there. They have everything in display to test out walking, folding, unfolding, etc. It's extremely helpful!!! The carseat is something to consider too as not all will fit in your vehicle and not all are compatible with a stroller. The staff can help you with this too. Our set up is baby jogger city select 2 eco (not my first choice but we got an INSANE deal) and clek liing carseat. I got adapters on marketplace for $20 to connect my carseat to the stroller (no need to pay full price!)
r/BabyBumpsCanada • Stroller Stress - Any Recommendations [CA] ->I love the baby jogger city mini gt2. It has a car seat you can pair with it to make it a travel system or it can be used just as a stroller. If you think there’s a chance of baby #2 soon after or want something modular I currently use a baby jogger city select and absolutely love it. Both strollers have a hand brake instead of a foot brake (so no fumbling for the brakes anymore), good shock absorption, good recline (and options so you don’t have to pick between upright or fully down), and large canopies. The city mini is one easy handle to fold and one solid piece. The city select is a frame and then you pick if you want the seat to face you, face front, or if you want to put a car seat on instead. Both have adjustable handlebars. I’m 5’2 and my husband is just under 6’ and the handlebar is comfortable for both of us.
r/BabyBumps • Please just tell me what stroller to buy ->I get my strollers second hand. So I have 2 double baby jogger city select systems and I paid $100 total (they were each $50) for: the frames, four seats, the adapters to put the second seat on each one (so two sets), two car seat adapters, two scooter boards, a parent tray, 2 child trays, and yeah…a lot of us aren’t rich we just buy second hand 😅
r/BabyBumps • The 25 most recommend travel strollers according to Reddit (in the past year as of Jul 2025) ->I was gifted the city select. Able to switch from bassinet to seats, plus can attach a standing platform Incase you plan for a third. (You do need to buy attachments separately)
r/2under2 • Recommend double strollers? ->+1 for the City Select. I also found an old second hand Baby Jogger Versa that uses the same type of seat connectors and that way I can take both kids in the double, drop the now 2 year old at kindergarten along with the bucket seat and go on with the baby, then at the end of the school day my husband uses the Versa chassis frame, mounts the seat that was left at kindergarten and picks up 2 year old.
r/2under2 • Best Stroller/Travel system ->Baby jogger city select 2, lived in Europe in a city with cobblestones and lots of rough streets with it and went on multiple triples to other countries within Europe. I believe the website said it was more narrow than the vista but it’s probably out of your price point (although sometimes certain colors are discounted). FWIW, a lot of people in my city in Europe had the vista and it was just fine.
r/toddlers • Best Stroller for tall 2 year old for Europe/ cobblestone ->I would say, it kind of depends on what you're willing to put up with. Is there a magic stroller out there that does all of those things super well? probably not. We have a Baby Jogger City Select. It has all of the features you're looking for, for the most part. We've taken it off road on trails when hiking and it handles that pretty well. You can upgrade the wheels if you want. It has adapters for a pretty decent variety of infant seats. There is a bassinet attachment if you want one. We have taken it on the plane while our baby was still in his infant seat. I will say it doesn't do any of those things perfectly, but it can work. Eventually we did end up getting a more lightweight stroller once we were out of the infant stage that is far less bulky for traveling and car seat compatibility was no longer a thing.
r/BabyBumps • Am I being naive in wanting an absolute UNICORN of a stroller? Or do I just need to accept that I actually need three strollers? ->Hi, fellow manitoban. Nothing is easy to push through snow, but some are absolutely dreadful. Buy something with large, air-filled tires. DO NOT buy anything with small hard plastic tires. I have a baby jogger city select, ive had it for 10 years and 3 babies (plus a time my 6 year old was disabled she used it for a bit), i like that it wasily folds flat, can be a double, has adapters for almost any carseat, the seats can face in or out and are really easy to switch, and has a large storage basket (huge for when baby is too small to sit in the shopping cart and you need to shop with the stroller). Im not saying younneed to buy a babyjogger (i admit, im out of the loop, even though i have an infant, i havent bought most major baby products in 10 years), but those are the features i really love about my stroller (and what were lacking in the graco jogging stroller i had before getting the baby jogger). Unlike what the name would suggest, babyjogger doesn't necessarily mean in a jogging stroller.
r/BabyBumpsCanada • Looking for stroller recommendations [Mb] ->I love my CitySelect. I bought a discontinued color and saved a TON of money on it!
r/parentsofmultiples • Best stroller for twins, specifically ones that you can click infant car seats into? ->We did an extensive amount of research and in-store testing and actually landed on the baby jogger (I’d say it’s on the cheaper to mid range) which depending on the model is comparable in quality to Uppababy. We expected to get an Uppababy or Nuna so we surprised ourselves but are pretty happy! The city select is one of the few that can become a limousine of sorts if you plan on expanding your family (but watch out for how you purchase items) Also FYI - the Nordstrom anniversary sale is coming up, so you may want to wait for that depending on where you choose to purchase!
r/nycparents • Best stroller/travel system ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
