We got Graco infant seats and then a baby trend snap n go twin stroller. Worked great for the first year.
r/parentsofmultiples • Best stroller for twins, specifically ones that you can click infant car seats into? ->If I had a graco from my first I would’ve done the graco system. I didn’t so I went with the baby trend universal dual thing and then plan on getting the Zoe trio once the twins are big enough to sit in it
r/parentsofmultiples • Best stroller for twins, specifically ones that you can click infant car seats into? ->If she can just lift the carriers I would highly suggest a Snap-n-Go. I used one of these with the car seat carriers until they were 18 months.
r/parentsofmultiples • Lightweight double stroller for grandma? ->Baby trend snap and go, basically holds ANY type of car seat . Some snap and others just sit right onto it. I have the Graco SnugRide 35 Lite LX Infant Car Seat that i literally just sit right on top and it comes with straps to strap over car seat, it’s light weight and perfectly honestly
r/Mommit • Best travel system strollers? ->I cannot speak to the bugaboo stroller but a lot of airlines restrict size/weight of stroller that can be gate checked! So definitely check specifically with the airline before considering bringing. I always advocate for cheap travel car seats. In the US there is Cosco Scenera. They stack, hard to damage, and easy to check. And then a good travel stroller that is gate check or carryon compatible. Unfortunately, I am not familiar with what is available in Europe. However if you plan on not renting a car and need something easily transferred from Ubers. I think you can look into the baby trend snap and go or a similar stroller frame and just use your current infant seats. Much cheaper than two Doonas. Personally, I hated the doona. It was hot and uncomfortable for baby compared to other infant seats. It was also really bad as a stroller (no storage, horrid suspension, and terrible ergonomics for anyone average height or taller). You’ll get a lot more out of investing in a good travel stroller or a cheaper stroller frame.
