BOB Gear - Rambler Jogging Stroller

I love my BOB rambler with the Britax carseat! It was a great deal and included the infant car seat. Now that I have a BOB I see so many old ones in use, so that is saying something about longevity. We have traveled the country with this stroller and ran many miles. My kiddo is 19 months old and we still use it daily. It was 100% with the investment. If you are super serious about running I would get the next model up. The rambler is for a more casual runner. I did also buy a $30 umbrella stroller for when the BOB would be too big, but 80% of the time I use my jogging stroller.

Bob for jogging is great. I’m running that sucker into the ground. Got it off craigslist for $50 and I’ve spent more on tires because I abuse the heck out of it on trails and beach. Everything is rusted and peeling, but it is a tank that glides and just keeps on going. My only adjustments are the trim on the lock wheel every so often if I’m jogging the street. We have a couple others for more formal outings, but that Bob is a sure fire winner.

A BOB running stroller is better for the bumps, but the Yoyo folds down to nothing and makes it better for going to restaurants or other places where you want to stow away your stroller quickly and without a ton of bulk. Those are my top pics. Uppababy is overrated and more of a status symbol IMO. A BOB or a Yoyo is more functional.

The BOB jogging stroller is great in the snow but would be a bit large for public transit. You’ll want to look for a stroller with larger wheels to get through the snow. I haven’t tried or compared the sizes but the Baby Jogger Mini or Thule Spring came up in a quick search and might work for you. All of these have seats for older babies but you may be able to get an adapter to fit your car seat.
