We’re one and done so don’t need a double but if we had 2 kiddos and we’re going to Disney I would 100% want a double stroller. I will look into the Bombi Bebee twin stroller or the Zoe The Twin stroller, they’re both lightweight strollers that fold up compact so perfect for travel but are rugged for everyday use. We have the Bombi Bebee single stroller for our daughter and we love it!!! I would also suggest you check out The Stroller Mom on YouTube she does several videos on the best strollers for Disney and she usually has discount codes as well!
Update: got it in and I really like it! Smooth push and has really great features. I think it’s for sure worth it!
This OP! Uppababy vista for the first year, and then side by side stroller. You can find a vista on FB marketplace. We did the vista for the first year and then just got the bombi twin for a side by side (I was also going to do the valco but the bombi just came out and looked so great at half the price!) I got so tired of taking the seats out of the vista and feeling like I had to do so much work to take the stroller places. It is nice having a tandem + a side by side depending on where you’re going.
I don’t have the uppa mini duo, but I have the bombi twin which looks similar (side by side travel-ish). We also have an uppa vista 2. We use the bombi twin the most! And at least for ours, there’s a “newborn pouch” feature that is awesome for on the go naps with infants, it basically converts the seat into a mini bassinet. My only complaint is that the side by side can be annoying to fit through some doorways. When my twins were still in infant car seats, the baby trend snap and go stroller was the BEST, highly recommend that for the first 6-9 months, absolutely worth it.
I also had a mockingbird from a singleton and also HATE it as a double it’s so heavy and hard to maneuver, I feel like I wasted money buying the second second and a second car seat adapter. Mine are only 3 months and I’m in the market for a side by side. Someone I know just got the bombi twin and is letting me borrow this week to test out and so far I’m loving it. It’s so much easier to push. I think the seats would have not really worked for fresh newborns, but at 3 months I feel like they are big enough to be comfortable. So I think I’m going to pull the trigger and buy the bombi.
I just got my Bombi twin stroller (my girls are 5mo and 18mo) and I love it so far. The only thing I don't like is they don't have it in purple 😅 It's one-handed fold and unfold (the unfold takes some practice to do one-handed...), it's narrow enough to fit through doorways, it comes with a travel bag, magnetic buckles, folds compact enough to fit comfortably in the third row of my GMC Acadia and still use the other third row seat, the seats lay completely flat and have extended canopies... I could go on. We're flying with it to Disney in a couple weeks and it's one of the few things I'm NOT stressed about 😂
The Bombi twin is a great option esp now that they have the double car seat adapter straps. I’d recommend you look into that. I much prefer a side by side versus stacked. We have a bugaboo donkey 5 which I love love love. Also have a mockingbird from my singleton and I hate it as a double. You also unfortunately need to realize that there isnt one stroller that’ll do it all. Diff situations/seasons will change your needs. Highly recommend looking at facebook marketplace for deals on strollers
Bombigear BeBee lightweight stroller. Had with us all over Tokyo. Loved it so much, it replaced our Uppababy. the canopy extends so it’s perfect for stroller naps.
Seconding this! I spent a lot of time researching travel strollers, and I think for the price the Bombi is the best. I was worried that it wouldn’t fit in the overhead bin because of the weight, but it actually fit in easily. And even though it’s on the heavier end of the travel strollers, it didn’t feel heavy to me. Just to add— it’s also an easy one handed steer and I love that the canopy shade extends. My daughter also likes to sit upright so she can easily look around, and we both like how upright it gets, but it can also recline back for her to lay down when tired. The seatbelt buckle is easy (pointing this out because the buckle in my daughter’s old stroller was such a pain). So happy with it!
