I have the Joolz aer + and cannot recommend it enough. We also have a bugaboo bee 5 for more off terrain trips but overal, the Joolz does great!
I have the bugaboo 1 and it was very hard to fold in the beginning. I even wanted to submit a ticket online but by the time I was ready the mechanism loosened up and it worked well. I hope that it gets easier for you as well. I still want to get the minu 3 or bugaboo 2 because the seat of the 1 creates sacral sitting which is not good for baby's back.
Once you get into the price range and brands you're looking at they're all very much the same. At that point it comes down to personal choice/fashion choice. I have the bugaboo :)
Bugaboo and yoyo for travel for us. Friends didn’t get on with the silver cross, difficult to fold down without losing a finger!
I’m a mom and can sympathize, but when the frame of my very expensive [stroller](https://www.bebeconfort.uk/pushchairs/brume-trio?color_swatch_id=5995) became bent beyond repair after only nine months of use, and there was no way to repair it, I had a re-think about the worth of buying a new and expensive “travel system”. My husband bought the next stroller from Mamas & Papas outlet at Dubai Outlet Mall, and that stroller was a nightmare: difficult steering, difficult to fold down into car boot and unfold, etc and no way to get exchange/ refund. Then I put the search terms “Maclaren” (folding stroller), “Romer” (fabulous car seat brand), “Britax” (great car seat brand) and “Phil & Ted” (stroller for 2 children) in Dubizzle and bought some amazing gear for good prices. With my last child, I received a family friend’s secondhand Bugaboo stroller, which was amazing. Once baby was a bit older, I bought a new Giggles folding airplane-approved stroller during a Baby Shop sale (a copycat babyzen Yoyo), which was very sturdy and lightweight, easy to steer, and very easy to fold down into car boot and unfold.
just spent a month researching. my takeaway: Nuna - loved this one the most (mixx or trvl xl) but all of the carseats/accesories make it extra pricey. my fav uber premium option uppababy- i found these all to be kind of rigid and too large. didn't like the vibe but its obvs popular mockingbird - decided on this one and so far love the balance of quality and price point. truly feels strong but also premium, while not being huge, and almost all the features feel obvious instead of buried silver cross - if you really want to go with the most premium it is indeed very nice. graco Modes nest - solid budget option. felt a little on the light/fragile side for me but if lightweight with versatility is important, this one isn't bad at all bugaboo - maybe the one i tried was a janky floor model but i didn't think it was smooth at all. nuna/mock crushed it
Bugaboo is great, had one for both kids, if you wish we have one for sale, all black only used with one child. Dm if interested
I’ve used the Minu V2 with UB Mesa car seat as my stroller system since birth, and my husband and I both love it. We use it every day. I was weighing between the Bugaboo vs Minu. Compared to the Bugaboo, the Minu feels sturdier and was a better option for my tall husband. (The Bugaboo’s wheels are a bit smaller/narrower so he would kick them. The handlebar is also lower on the Bugaboo.) I’ve taken the Minu to Disney, down cobblestone, and short grass and it does fine. Obviously it’s not going to be as smooth of a ride over uneven terrain as a full-size stroller, but it doesn’t give you issues/get stuck on terrain. My friend has the Bugaboo that seems to get stuck more often.. but overall they’re both such high quality with very similar folds, etc.
Bugaboo can fold into a backpack and fit in the overhead bin - we got it for just in case cancellations and layovers
I lived in the city without a car so practically even though it was pricy I went with the Doona car seat and a bugaboo stroller since I really rely on it. If you’re someone who likes getting out I recommend putting money into the stroller if it’s in your budget. For comparison sake I barely used my crib. Also a thick playmat because I live on the floor now.
Totally agree. Ironically I also went with the biggest wheels I could find short of a jogging stroller because our sidewalks are in ridiculous shape. Also cold most of the year.
