The one I own now bugaboo fox 5 but if all I cared about was style I’d get the silver cross reef 2
r/Buyingforbaby • If you could have any stroller… ->We did the Bugaboo Fox 5. Its amazing, super sleek & compact but the wheels are all-terrain. Also works with our car seat!
r/BabyBumps • Please just tell me what stroller to buy ->We have the butterfly and love it! I have a bugaboo fox and I got so sick of putting it and out of the car, so we use that for walks and the butterfly for everything else. One handed fold, fits everywhere and my little one (13m) is comfortable
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Travel pram that’s an excellent all-round everyday pram ->We just checked on a bugaboo fox 5, we bought the travel bag from bugaboo. Figured we paid so much for the stroller it was worth protecting. My husband did a few trial pack downs at home first. It only took 5 mins when we were at the airport. Arrived and assembled and all in perfect condition, i’m glad we bought it!
r/beyondthebump • Traveling with strollers ->We have a bugaboo fox and we love it. However it’s definitely not “lightweight and compact” so keep that in mind
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Please pick one stroller👶 ->Bugaboo Fox 3,4,5 is a stroke of designer genious. We are talking Braun, Audi, Steve jobs level greatness of design and durability. *highly recommended*
r/Buyingforbaby • Bugaboo Butterfly 2 coming May 22 ->I know a lot of people love them, but I got a bugaboo fox and hated it. Found it so cumbersome and heavy. I bought the bugaboo second hand and ended up selling it. I remember a friend having a Milly and Coup (I think) pram that was lightweight and folded, which was suitable for newborns (it wasn’t a bassinet), and I wished I’d bought that one! This was four years ago.
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Prams - did you regret getting a larger, heavy pram for your first baby? ->We regularly take our Fox 5 on trails at a provincial park. No regrets.
r/BabyBumpsCanada • Stroller Recommendations [on] ->Bugaboo Fox for 1 child or donkey for 2. I’ve tried quite a few of these prams and my bugaboo fox and donkey were stand out favourites.
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Please pick one stroller👶 ->I don’t know how small you need it, but my Bugaboo Fox is a (European)cobblestone superstar.
r/Buyingforbaby • Compact All-Terrain Newborn Stroller ->I would upgrade my original bugaboo fox to the newest donkey. I would loooove to have the side basket.
r/Buyingforbaby • If you could have any stroller… ->We have a Bugaboo Fox 5 and the adjustable height is great for my husband and I - we’re both tall. We got the stroller for a great deal on GoodBuyGear. We use it with a Nuna Pipa RX.
r/Buyingforbaby • Best travel system for a baby? ->I got a Bugaboo Fox 5 open box on GoodBuyGear about a year and a half ago for $600 and it’s been fantastic, and we also did not want to buy one that converted to a double. We used it with a Nuna Pipa RX and it was super simple. We’re also both tall and it’s super comfortable.
r/Buyingforbaby • If you could have any stroller… ->Ahhh, yeah that would be too long for me as well. We have the Fox5 and I do love that stroller. I just wish it had a more compact fold, that thing takes up my entire trunk. I just bought a bigger SUV because I couldn’t have a stroller and groceries in the car at the same time. I just purchased the butterfly 2 for an upcoming trip in late Aug. Since I need to bring the car seat with me anyways, we got the adapters, for the airport. I don’t want to gate check my strollers or car seats, i don’t want them abused and tossed around. So the fact that it fits in the overhead sold us. One of my close friends has been using the original butterfly with her kids since they were around 5-6mos and she loves it. She actually bought 2, one for her and one for her mom. The lighter stroller was easier for her mom to get in and out of her car.
r/Buyingforbaby • The parent facing travel stroller issue ->happy bugaboo fox user. Extraordinarily expensive and worth every penny. A stroller is one of the 2-3 items that you won't regret buying. That you will regret if it's not easy to push around or breaks down or you can't fold unfold easily etc... Enjoy it, he will only be a baby for not enough time. The days are long but the years are short, sort of =)
r/daddit • Wife is 15 weeks - went down a stroller rabbit hole… ->Cybex and Bugaboo make very nice strollers for rough terrain plus they come with car seat attachment and basinet. With that said we didn’t invest in a travel stroller until 7-8months because it was much easier to just use a carrier when traveling on a plane. I would get a primary stroller and then evaluate what you need beyond the doona. If you plan on traveling a lot and you go on many walks you will need 2 strollers at a minimum. Now at 20 months we are looking at bike/skiing strollers (hamax). For reference we have a bugaboo fox and cybex orfeo as our primary/travel stroller combo. We walk 5-8 miles daily and travel at least 2x per year.
r/BabyBumps • Am I being naive in wanting an absolute UNICORN of a stroller? Or do I just need to accept that I actually need three strollers? ->We have the bugaboo Fox 5 and love it. So we just ordered the butterfly on sale yesterday since we're going to Japan in May. Love this review and only solidifies my choice!
r/BabyBumpsCanada • Ergobaby metro+ deluxe - best travel stroller? [on] ->Same! One year on and it's still one of my favourite baby items. It's so sturdy, the basket space is great, baby is cosy, it looks great, so easy to manoeuvre. I walk with it heaps and have even taken it jogging.
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Prams - did you regret getting a larger, heavy pram for your first baby? ->Bugaboo fox as main pram and a small puschair that folds with one hand for travelling
r/NewParents • What kind of/how many strollers do people have? ->I have the Bugaboo Fox5 and the Butterfly. The butterfly stays in my car now, but I only got it when my son was around 8 months old. Originally I bought it for air travel but it’s so easy to use that now I use it for every day outings. That said, I LOVE the Fox5. It really depends on your area/lifestyle, but I felt the splurge was necessary for a few reasons: 1. We lived in a hyper-walkable area and walked almost everywhere. We also walked our dog miles every day, which we brought baby along for. 2. The bassinet attachment is approved for safe sleep. Baby napped in his bassinet on the Fox frequently and it even came in handy as a bedside bassinet once or twice in a pinch. 3. The build quality and ease of use is incredible. I beat the hell out of our Fox5, have stuffed its basket to the brim, and have clocked probably >100 miles on it. Literally never had a problem with it and it still looks almost brand new. 4. Car seat compatibility. I got the adapters for the Fox that made it able to click in with the car seat we had (Nuna air). Although I preferred the bassinet for my guy as it is better for their development, having the ability to click his car seat into the stroller base came in handy a lot.
r/moderatelygranolamoms • Moms, what attracted you to buy that stroller? ->I don’t know if it fits the car seat but I live in a very multi terrain place and we have the bugaboo fox 5. It’s perfect for bumps.
r/beyondthebump • Stroller Recommendation? ->I live in a city and have both the bugaboo fox 5 and the Joolz AER+. I bought the Joolz for travel but it’s brilliant for the city. It folds up small, is light weight, lies flat, large sun canopy. It’s amazing. I love my bugaboo but it’s much bigger and heavier. I still recommend it though!
r/beyondthebump • Best stroller/travel system ->We have a bugaboo fox 5 and a Joolz AER. Hilariously we’re now expecting another so we’ll need a double 🤣 oops
r/NewParents • Who else has 2 or more strollers and one kid? Are my stroller choices justified? ->I have a bugaboo Fox and that thing is a champ. I can push through snow and slush without a problem. I wanted the donkey but opted for the fox. You may have more time to decide. My baby hated the stroller and I exclusively wore her for the first 4 months or so. We used the LennyLight by Lennylamb (highly recommend it)
r/BabyBumpsCanada • BEST STROLLER/BASSINET/CARSEAT COMBO FOR 1st TIME MOM IN TORONTO? [on] ->Based in mtl and had a baby in December. We have a bugaboo fox 5 with a Nuna pipa car seat and it is awesome. We have been pancaking snow banks even through the recent megastorm. That said, we were gifted our stroller and probably would not have bought it new had we been paying for it. If cost is prohibitive, I recommend checking marketplace (there are tons of bugaboo fox strollers for sale on there).
r/BabyBumpsCanada • [qc] travel systems/strollers capatable with Canadian winters? ->I have a seven week old baby and the second hand Bugaboo Fox I bought off Marketplace is the bane of my existence.
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Prams - did you regret getting a larger, heavy pram for your first baby? ->Not Maxi Cosi, but I can share some of my thoughts on other strollers that may help. I went to WestCoast Kids to try out some strollers recently, I’m due in a few weeks so my experience is from using friends and families over the past couple of years. I ended up leaving with the bugaboo fox 5 (not the renew) with the bassinet / stroller seat and got a Nuna car seat. I think all together it came out to be 2,000 ish. I found it on sale luckily. I was eyeing a Cybex stroller and a Nuna stroller. The folding of the Cybex was unbearable for me, required two hands and just folding it at the store over stimulated me. Nuna was my second option if bugaboo didn’t work out and they have travel sets. UppaBaby felt too hefty for me, but I used it a while back and not the newer ones. UppaBaby does have a really lightweight car seat that you can attach to the stroller, I believe it’s the Aria. I wanted that one but it’s not compatible with my stroller.
r/BabyBumpsCanada • Overwhelmed - Stroller Recommendation [ON] ->I can't comment on all of them but we've had a Bugaboo Fox and now a Donkey. I loved both but neither were a one-hand fold and definitely not lightweight or compact! The Cruz also doesn't fit those specifications either. We do also have a Joolz Aer which we got when my oldest was about 12 months old. I love it for day to day use. It's light weight and a really easy one handed fold (https://www.youtube.com/shorts/g1dLtrOtceo) and is super compact in the car :)
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Please pick one stroller👶 ->I have the Fox 5 and I love it, but it’s not lightweight, compact or one-hand fold, so this is probably one to remove from your list. Its perfect for the main purpose I use it for, which is taking long walks directly from home. It’s bulky and heavy so I avoid loading it into the car and opt to use a carrier when we’ve driven places instead.
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Please pick one stroller👶 ->All terrain was my top priority. We are SO happy with the bugaboo fox 5. It handles like a dream and comes with a bassinet. There might be a few of the originals still floating around out there with the sale price, because there’s a newer fox 5 version now. My only complaint was it was quite hard to find the car seat adapters online. Absolutely agree with the other post that says you need to go try out the strollers. We went to snugglebugz and they had a large indoor track to try them all out on. The sales associate suggested we run, walk, shake the stroller, etc. on the track and it really helped us decide which one we felt handled the best for our needs.
r/BabyBumpsCanada • Stroller/ Travel System Recommendations ? [ON] ->I have the bugaboo fox 5 and the maxi cosi Lara 2 as our holiday/travel pram, which it is great for but absolutely could not use it every day. The brake gets in the way and it’s just not as sturdy. I know the fox 5 is bigger but I would absolutely always recommend bugaboo. They just feel so well made and well thought out for every day
r/BeyondTheBumpUK • Bugaboo Butterfly 2 or Maxi Cosi Lara 2 ->FTM here! I’m going with the Bugaboo Fox 5 which comes with the bassinet and toddler seat and pairing with the Clek Liing (using the maxi cosi adapter). Personally Uppababy isn’t for me, and I haven’t heard anything positive about the Mesa from my circle. If I didn’t go this direction, I would’ve done a Nuna car seat.
r/BabyBumpsCanada • BEST STROLLER/BASSINET/CARSEAT COMBO FOR 1st TIME MOM IN TORONTO? [on] ->We took our bugaboo fox on a few international trips when our first born was under 2 as we wanted a more sturdier pram. The pram was folded and sealed in a bag before loaded into the plane's hold, some airports incl Heathrow allow you to take it right until the gate. Now when we travel we use the yo-yo which is super convenient as it can be taken as hand luggage
r/UKParenting • Do I need a travel stroller, or will I be okay with my normal pram? ->Conversely I have the bugaboo fox 5 and absolutely love it. I have nothing to compare against but have used it daily for a year now and not once did I question my choice.
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Prams - did you regret getting a larger, heavy pram for your first baby? ->For all terrain capabilities, I’ve been considering the Bugaboo Fox (single) or Bugaboo Kangaroo (single to double). I like that it comes with the material to convert to a bassinet. Just the only downfall is because you’re using the same seat frame to convert bassinet to toddler seat, you can’t really use them interchangeably. But I don’t think I plan to do that anyways. Will use bassinet until bubs is big enough for toddler seat. It’s also quite bulky so lots of storage/trunk space would be needed. But wheel suspension seems to be really really good.
r/BabyBumpsCanada • Stroller Recommendations [on] ->Definitely. They’ve been around forever and have a brick and mortar store in Manhattan. I bought my bugaboo fox 5 from there and will be buying my mini v3 from there shortly.
r/Buyingforbaby • Travel stroller decision fatigue - help wanted! ->Bugaboo Fox 5. Light, great wheels, works for all ages.
r/daddit • Wife is 15 weeks - went down a stroller rabbit hole… ->We have the butterfly and fox. I’d recommend taking it back, it’s great for travel (we have family abroad) but the wheels don’t cut it regularly for the city or at all in the countryside. Great for folding up in small coffee shops though!
r/NewParents • Bought Bugaboo Butterfly by mistake ->I'm really surprised by the amount of people recommending using carseat strollers. Baby can't lie flat in those! They are not recommended as your every day stroller, you need a bassinet attachment. Personally, we went with the evenflo 360, had a cheap bassinet stroller (bugaboo) and then switched to joolz aer once baby could sit up comfortably.
r/BabyBumps • Tell me what freaking diaper bag, car seat and stroller to buy. My brain is melting. ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
