So I drive an Acura RDX, think trunk size of Rav4, or similar smaller SUVs, and own Fox 5, Vista V2, and Bugaboo Butterfly, and I despise using Fox and Vista because if I use it, I don't have trunk space for anything else (realistically, I probably have room for maybe a $150 grocery run in this economy, but I often use my Butterfly cause it folds up so compact
r/Buyingforbaby • Anyone buy a Bugaboo Fox 5 to regularly use with a car? ->We did the Bugaboo Fox 5. Its amazing, super sleek & compact but the wheels are all-terrain. Also works with our car seat!
r/BabyBumps • Please just tell me what stroller to buy ->We have the butterfly and love it! I have a bugaboo fox and I got so sick of putting it and out of the car, so we use that for walks and the butterfly for everything else. One handed fold, fits everywhere and my little one (13m) is comfortable
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Travel pram that’s an excellent all-round everyday pram ->We just checked on a bugaboo fox 5, we bought the travel bag from bugaboo. Figured we paid so much for the stroller it was worth protecting. My husband did a few trial pack downs at home first. It only took 5 mins when we were at the airport. Arrived and assembled and all in perfect condition, i’m glad we bought it!
r/beyondthebump • Traveling with strollers ->I know a lot of people love them, but I got a bugaboo fox and hated it. Found it so cumbersome and heavy. I bought the bugaboo second hand and ended up selling it. I remember a friend having a Milly and Coup (I think) pram that was lightweight and folded, which was suitable for newborns (it wasn’t a bassinet), and I wished I’d bought that one! This was four years ago.
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Prams - did you regret getting a larger, heavy pram for your first baby? ->For me, it’s the suspension and the fold that differentiate the high end strollers from the middle of the road. I have the bugaboo fox and the Nuna trvl lx. HIGHLY recommend the Nuna trvl lx if your kiddo is already 11 months old. It’s not ideal for a newborn but it’s so easy to collapse and open, great suspension, lightweight, and folds up very small. Nuna trvl lx has a better suspension than the Nuna trvl.
r/NewParents • What do I get with luxury/expensive strollers (uppababy, Nuna) over affordable ones (Chicco, Graco) ->We have a Bugaboo Fox 5 and the adjustable height is great for my husband and I - we’re both tall. We got the stroller for a great deal on GoodBuyGear. We use it with a Nuna Pipa RX.
r/Buyingforbaby • Best travel system for a baby? ->happy bugaboo fox user. Extraordinarily expensive and worth every penny. A stroller is one of the 2-3 items that you won't regret buying. That you will regret if it's not easy to push around or breaks down or you can't fold unfold easily etc... Enjoy it, he will only be a baby for not enough time. The days are long but the years are short, sort of =)
r/daddit • Wife is 15 weeks - went down a stroller rabbit hole… ->Cybex and Bugaboo make very nice strollers for rough terrain plus they come with car seat attachment and basinet. With that said we didn’t invest in a travel stroller until 7-8months because it was much easier to just use a carrier when traveling on a plane. I would get a primary stroller and then evaluate what you need beyond the doona. If you plan on traveling a lot and you go on many walks you will need 2 strollers at a minimum. Now at 20 months we are looking at bike/skiing strollers (hamax). For reference we have a bugaboo fox and cybex orfeo as our primary/travel stroller combo. We walk 5-8 miles daily and travel at least 2x per year.
r/BabyBumps • Am I being naive in wanting an absolute UNICORN of a stroller? Or do I just need to accept that I actually need three strollers? ->Fox 5 really stands out among full size, all terrain strollers. Two wheel mode for easier rolling up the stairs and sand as well as picnic mode of the seat are some pretty unique features. They do fold a little big but if you have a big truck, it’s not an issue at all.
r/Buyingforbaby • Anyone buy a Bugaboo Fox 5 to regularly use with a car? ->Bugaboo fox as main pram and a small puschair that folds with one hand for travelling
r/NewParents • What kind of/how many strollers do people have? ->I have the Bugaboo Fox5 and the Butterfly. The butterfly stays in my car now, but I only got it when my son was around 8 months old. Originally I bought it for air travel but it’s so easy to use that now I use it for every day outings. That said, I LOVE the Fox5. It really depends on your area/lifestyle, but I felt the splurge was necessary for a few reasons: 1. We lived in a hyper-walkable area and walked almost everywhere. We also walked our dog miles every day, which we brought baby along for. 2. The bassinet attachment is approved for safe sleep. Baby napped in his bassinet on the Fox frequently and it even came in handy as a bedside bassinet once or twice in a pinch. 3. The build quality and ease of use is incredible. I beat the hell out of our Fox5, have stuffed its basket to the brim, and have clocked probably >100 miles on it. Literally never had a problem with it and it still looks almost brand new. 4. Car seat compatibility. I got the adapters for the Fox that made it able to click in with the car seat we had (Nuna air). Although I preferred the bassinet for my guy as it is better for their development, having the ability to click his car seat into the stroller base came in handy a lot.
r/moderatelygranolamoms • Moms, what attracted you to buy that stroller? ->I don’t know if it fits the car seat but I live in a very multi terrain place and we have the bugaboo fox 5. It’s perfect for bumps.
r/beyondthebump • Stroller Recommendation? ->I have a bugaboo Fox and that thing is a champ. I can push through snow and slush without a problem. I wanted the donkey but opted for the fox. You may have more time to decide. My baby hated the stroller and I exclusively wore her for the first 4 months or so. We used the LennyLight by Lennylamb (highly recommend it)
r/BabyBumpsCanada • BEST STROLLER/BASSINET/CARSEAT COMBO FOR 1st TIME MOM IN TORONTO? [on] ->Based in mtl and had a baby in December. We have a bugaboo fox 5 with a Nuna pipa car seat and it is awesome. We have been pancaking snow banks even through the recent megastorm. That said, we were gifted our stroller and probably would not have bought it new had we been paying for it. If cost is prohibitive, I recommend checking marketplace (there are tons of bugaboo fox strollers for sale on there).
r/BabyBumpsCanada • [qc] travel systems/strollers capatable with Canadian winters? ->Not Maxi Cosi, but I can share some of my thoughts on other strollers that may help. I went to WestCoast Kids to try out some strollers recently, I’m due in a few weeks so my experience is from using friends and families over the past couple of years. I ended up leaving with the bugaboo fox 5 (not the renew) with the bassinet / stroller seat and got a Nuna car seat. I think all together it came out to be 2,000 ish. I found it on sale luckily. I was eyeing a Cybex stroller and a Nuna stroller. The folding of the Cybex was unbearable for me, required two hands and just folding it at the store over stimulated me. Nuna was my second option if bugaboo didn’t work out and they have travel sets. UppaBaby felt too hefty for me, but I used it a while back and not the newer ones. UppaBaby does have a really lightweight car seat that you can attach to the stroller, I believe it’s the Aria. I wanted that one but it’s not compatible with my stroller.
r/BabyBumpsCanada • Overwhelmed - Stroller Recommendation [ON] ->I love the fox, use it 95% of the time.
r/Buyingforbaby • Anyone buy a Bugaboo Fox 5 to regularly use with a car? ->Do you get snow? I have a Bugaboo fox and love it. My 97th percentile 4 year old still fits comfortably.
r/NewParents • What do I get with luxury/expensive strollers (uppababy, Nuna) over affordable ones (Chicco, Graco) ->FTM here! I’m going with the Bugaboo Fox 5 which comes with the bassinet and toddler seat and pairing with the Clek Liing (using the maxi cosi adapter). Personally Uppababy isn’t for me, and I haven’t heard anything positive about the Mesa from my circle. If I didn’t go this direction, I would’ve done a Nuna car seat.
r/BabyBumpsCanada • BEST STROLLER/BASSINET/CARSEAT COMBO FOR 1st TIME MOM IN TORONTO? [on] ->We took our bugaboo fox on a few international trips when our first born was under 2 as we wanted a more sturdier pram. The pram was folded and sealed in a bag before loaded into the plane's hold, some airports incl Heathrow allow you to take it right until the gate. Now when we travel we use the yo-yo which is super convenient as it can be taken as hand luggage
r/UKParenting • Do I need a travel stroller, or will I be okay with my normal pram? ->For all terrain capabilities, I’ve been considering the Bugaboo Fox (single) or Bugaboo Kangaroo (single to double). I like that it comes with the material to convert to a bassinet. Just the only downfall is because you’re using the same seat frame to convert bassinet to toddler seat, you can’t really use them interchangeably. But I don’t think I plan to do that anyways. Will use bassinet until bubs is big enough for toddler seat. It’s also quite bulky so lots of storage/trunk space would be needed. But wheel suspension seems to be really really good.
r/BabyBumpsCanada • Stroller Recommendations [on] ->Bugaboo Fox 5. Light, great wheels, works for all ages.
r/daddit • Wife is 15 weeks - went down a stroller rabbit hole… ->We have the butterfly and fox. I’d recommend taking it back, it’s great for travel (we have family abroad) but the wheels don’t cut it regularly for the city or at all in the countryside. Great for folding up in small coffee shops though!
r/NewParents • Bought Bugaboo Butterfly by mistake ->
