I have a chicco Corso Primo ClearTex Travel System and a Nuna mixx. I prefer the chicco over the nuna tbh. It's bigger and fits my 10m old better than the nuna does. The nuna I feel like could suit her better when she's bigger. She looks awkward in it. Like too far down almost looks like she can slide down. They both fold in nicely and I feel like the suspension is the same for both. I've taken them both out camping/hiking and to the beach. If you weren't so far I'd gift you my nuna I rarely use it.
r/NewParents • What do I get with luxury/expensive strollers (uppababy, Nuna) over affordable ones (Chicco, Graco) ->I have the Chicco Keyfit 35 and Bravo Primo stroller and love it.
r/BabyBumps • Please just tell me what stroller to buy ->We love our Chicco Corso! I never see it mentioned anywhere but it’s a great stroller. We had a used Uppababy to start and then were gifted this and it’s honestly almost as good for a much more reasonable price. I bought it not for the crunchy aspect (though that’s nice) but because the Keyfit 35 car seat uses the European belt path which makes it really easy yet safe to install without a base.
r/moderatelygranolamoms • Nuna tavo + pipa urbn travel system or the chicco corso primo cleartex system? ->I also really wanted that feature and ended up going with the Chicco Corso Primo for that reason. We do stroller walks every day, and my son would usually fall asleep during the walk as a newborn. It was nice to let him keep sleeping when we got home without worrying about his head/neck. That being said, another commenter mentioned the lay flat feature of the model you are looking into, and I'm sure that's functionally very similar.
r/Mommit • What travel system (with bassinet attachment available) did you chose and why? ->I have LOVED our Chicco Corso Primo. The stroller seat reclines flat so it’s newborn-ready without having to buy a separate bassinet attachment. The car seat is also great. The whole thing has been very easy to use and seems to be very well made. r/BabyBumps • Best stroller/car seat/combo ->I really like the Chicco bravo primo trio set we got (keyfit 35, base and stroller). It folds and unfolds easily, but is also large enough to have a crazy useful basket underneath, great parent organizer, great toddler cup holder, and really nice suspension and wheels for handling rough pavement. It is larger than some others, but is not very heavy.
r/pregnant • Infant car seat and compatible stroller - tell me the truth - help!! ->We started out with a Chico bravo primo which has been great, came with a car seat that clicks in and a base. Think about 600 for everything. Very solid and really nice folding feature for half the price of the uppababy we were looking at. We also looked at the little stroller car seat combo thing but I’m 6’5 and it was way too short for me to comfortably push and had no storage iirc. Lately we don’t need such a large stroller and don’t need the car seat as much since he’s just about sized out of it height wise. So I picked up a uppababy Gluxe which is a very small form stroller that takes up much less space. No car seat compatibility but I don’t need that anymore. Think it was 200 new or like 170 open box on Amazon. Love it so far. My main issue is traveling. We did about 12 flights this past year between 6 months and 18 months of life for our son. I refuse to check bags. So the combo seat stroller was great. As soon as he hits 2 this summer I will likely pick up a way B to go with our new small form stroller so we can continue not checking bags.
r/daddit • My wife has a crazy addiction to buying strollers. So we’ve tried em all. ->I used a chicco keyfit 35 + chicco caddy as needed for my “doona replacement” for Ubers/travel and I thought it was perfect. Two pieces, yes, but both very lightweight and easy to travel with. Plus, affordable (i got the caddy secondhand and barely used for $30) and safer (at least judging by the fact that doona is not legal in Canada).
r/NewParents • Has anyone tried the Doona car seat/stroller? Is it really worth the hype? ->I got the Chicco Corso Keyfit 35 travel system. It was great. We are still using the stroller sometimes. He's 4 now, so we've upgraded the car seat to Chicco NextFit and Kid Fit booster.
r/Mommit • Help! Drowning in a Car Seat and Sea of Strollers - Need a Lightweight Safe Travel System for a Newborn that they can grow into. ->We have the Chicco Corso with the KeyFit35 and I’m super happy with it!
r/pregnant • What Travel Stroller system did you go with? ->We have the Chicco Corso and have been extremely happy with it so far!
r/Buyingforbaby • What stroller should I get? ->Lucie’s List helped me so much when making my registry. The founder goes through tons of options, their pros and cons, price points, etc. it can help you think through what’s most important to you and will fit your lifestyle. I personally wanted an infant car seat with a click in base that had the anti-rebound bar. Having the travel system just made sense to me, so once I picked the car seat, I went with the travel system that included that seat. We got the Chicco Corso and love it!
r/BabyBumps • How did you choose a stroller and car seat? ->The corso does have a lay flat option! I have that stroller and love it, I never had a bassinet but didn’t look back thinking I wish I had had it!
r/Mommit • What travel system (with bassinet attachment available) did you chose and why? ->Nobody here has said the Chicco Corso yet, but the lie back seat is awesome and the Keyfit 35 car seat blows almost any other car seat out of the water with safety reviews if you’re looking for a travel system. The Corso looks luxury with a mid-range price. Highly recommend.
r/Buyingforbaby • Strollers...Help ->If you can spare another $100 I would strongly consider getting the Chico corso travel system instead. I’ve been using my corso every day for the last 20 months and it’s holding up great. Reason being is that the corso seat can face both ways and lay flat. The Bravo is a great stroller but it only forward faces so your only option is to use the car seat until your baby is ready to forward face. Evenflo, Graco and Maxi Cosi have similar travel systems under $500 that can also lay flat and face both ways too. Mockingbird single stroller is another option around $400 that can be paired with a Chicco car seat if that’s what you’re prioritizing. ETA: just checked and the corso system is actually only $549 and 20% off on Chicco website btw
r/BabyBumps • Stroller help: Chicco brand ->Honestly this was so stressful to figure out. I ended up getting a used Graco travel system from a neighbor and then another friend got us the Chicco Corso travel system and we love that thing already! It’s SO easy and lightweight enough. I was also looking at Mockingbird and may have picked that if we weren’t given the others, but I’m happy so far with what we got!
r/BabyBumps • How did you choose a stroller and car seat? ->We did a Chico stroller and car seat combo for our first. Taking the car seat out of the car and dropping it right into the stroller was great. We took that thing everywhere, even thru airports, on planes, Disney, etc. used it for our 3 other kids as well and now it’s sitting in my garage shelf 9 years later. When we had #2 the UBs had come out and we went to test drive them..the 1x1 configuration made it so hard to turn we ended up getting a citi-mini double. Also have taken that to Disney, and Europe, and still have it. We did end up getting a UB Umbrella for when we didn’t need the double and for easier portability. Still got that one too! Yeah the UB is the BMW of strollers, but you might end up wanting / needing another stroller depending on your needs anyway, so save some coin and use it for diapers!
