We have a chicco car seat and none of the fancy ones seemed to be compatible with that, so I opted for the chicco presto and OMG it is amazing! We have a hand me down uppa baby Vista, and the chicco has taken over as my daily use stroller because it's just so much easier to deal with. We also took it to NYC for a weekend trip and it worked really well! Though I would recommend using a strap of some sort (we had some elastic ones) to keep it from opening when you gate check it. Having said that, the stroller by itself is still going to be 6+ months, but if you have a chicco car seat it attaches without an adapter.

I recently got the Chicco Presto because I was looking for a travel stroller that was compatible with our chicco KeyFit car seat. This thing is amazing and it's now my daily use stroller. If you have a chicco car seat, it fits without any adapters and just clicks on. Otherwise the stroller itself is good for 6 months+. You can collapse it and open it with one hand, it's super light, and collapses pretty small. And it folds itself! It's also a lot less expensive than most of the other strollers mentioned here.

I never see anyone talk about it, but we have the chicco presto and love it. We had a chicco infant seat that clicked right in, and my two year old still loves it. We carted it all over Europe with no issues.

We have tried a million strollers, but our Chicco Presto has been a workhorse. We never had issues with the wheels breaking, the one-handed fold/unfold is THE BEST, and we used it basically everyday with our kids until they outgrew the bucket seat. It’s gone on two international flights, navigated cobblestone (that sucked; don’t do that. But it didn’t break!), and traversed miles and miles of city sidewalks. It also has a lot more storage than just the lower basket as you can stuff a lot of stuff in the space between the canopy and the car seat. My biggest complaint is that the brake will trip when you go over big bumps in the sidewalk. It’s kind of annoying, but not really a big deal. Also the cupholders are super flimsy.
