I did not go with Uppababy because my friend had it and it was huge. I am 5’ 2” and on the go a lot and wanted luxury but not giant. I initially went with the Cybex Priam but it also felt very large lugging in and out of the car by myself. The way it doesn’t technically latch made it awkward to maneuver. We were doing some traveling so I got a Cybex Libelle for the fold but it wasn’t great for under 1 because it didn’t lay flat for nap, so then we tried the Cybex Coya. We took it on to vacation in Hawaii and I LOVED the fold and look, but the seat doesn’t sit fully upright (similar to Bugaboo Butterfly) so my son hated sitting in it. We then bought the Nuna TRVL LX - different than regular TRVL and we love it! It has a one hand fold, decent size basket, nice sturdy bar and lays flat for nap time. I wish I would have purchased this one from the get go for my on the go/trvl stroller since the nuna car seats pop right on it for infants. Given I realized how important size is, if I were to do this all over again… I would have gone with a Nuna Triv OR Cybex Gazelle as my luxury stroller for something with a bassinet and then the TRVL LX for our on the go stroller.
r/BabyBumps • What's the best stroller for me? ->I’ve had the YoYo for two years now and it’s my go-to everyday stroller. I also have the Cybex Libelle 2 which I keep in my car. I think it glides pretty smoothly- I don’t notice any rickety sound (unlike the Libelle) That’s actually one of the reasons I love. A couple of caveats though. For how expensive it is, it doesn’t come with any accessories, no cup holder or anything but you can always get a cheap stroller caddy and stroller clips from Amazon. All the YoYo branded accessories are ridiculously overpriced. Also, if you purchase the footmuff (it’s pricey but I recommend it for the winter) it will make it difficult to fold, not impossible but you do need to force it a little. Lastly, it doesn’t not fold as easily for me as it does in the videos at all. And for reason the canopy is forever detaching itself when I open it, so it’s definitely not a one-handed motion. All that said, I love how compact and small it folds down. My girl is 2.5 and I’ll be sad when she outgrows it, but I definitely feel like I got my moneys worth. Btw don’t know where you’re shopping, but I got a really good deal on mine (open box) from GoodBuy Gear. I think I paid $100-150 under retail price
r/nycparents • Tell me your stroller stories, regrets + successes! What stroller did you start out with, and what stroller do you use now? Can you really use a travel stroller as your only stroller in NYC? ->If you’re considering the UPPAbaby Minu V3, definitely check out the Ergobaby Metro+ 3. They’re very similar, but the Metro+ 3 is $350 compared to $550 for the Minu. You can usually find a 15% off coupon with a quick Google search, and Ergobaby offers 20% off for teachers, nurses, and military. I was torn between the two, but after watching a million reviews, I realized the Minu V3 didn’t offer anything the Metro+ 3 didn’t—at least not anything that justified the extra $200. I’ve taken the Metro+ 3 out a few times and it pushes great—smooth and easy to steer one-handed. The basket holds over 20 lbs, the seat sits very upright (a must for my baby), and it also fully reclines for newborns. The ventilation is better than on the Minu, which was a top priority for me since we live in a warm climate. It has a one-handed auto-fold (huge win!), and while the unfold isn’t quite as smooth, I’ve still managed it one-handed. I also got the bumper bar since my baby loves holding onto those. One of my favorite features: it fits behind the driver’s seat of my Prius! That was a big deal because our main stroller—the Cybex Gazelle—takes up the entire trunk. Before this, I had the Cybex Libelle (open-box from goodbuybaby.com). It was fine—super compact and came with a car seat adapter—but I didn’t love that it didn’t sit upright and had no peekaboo window. I wouldn’t have paid $300 for it, but I got it for $150 and sold it for $100 after one trip when my baby was 5 months old. Now that my baby is using the stroller seat more, I wanted something more comfortable and better quality—and the Metro+ 3 has totally delivered.
r/Buyingforbaby • Stuck on travel strollers ->I know it's not on your list but I tried out a few travel strollers at Nordstrom (Libelle, Joolz Aer, Uppababy Minu, and one of the Nunas) and ended up going with the Uppababy Minu. It's supposed to fit in an overhead bin but can't confirm. Ergobaby Metro was on our list.
r/beyondthebump • Travel Stroller Dilemma ->We have the Cybex libelle, folds up super small and fits in the overhead bin. Our baby is about 3 months old though and we have the Cybex infant car seat so the libelle comes with adaptors for the Aton infant car seat We bought our travel stroller on FB marketplace if that helps with managing costs! You’re only going to use it a few times any ways I imagine (not as frequently as your primary stroller) so could be a better route
r/BabyBumpsCanada • Travel stroller that fits in overhead compartment? [AB] ->We have a travel stroller and a vista 2. About to buy a different travel stroller because the one I got sucks for airports. We have a cybex libelle. It was horrible in the airport because we couldn’t attach her carrier to it, however it was really nice for being on a cruise. It has good handling and it works really well in tight spaces. We’ll keep it for when we’re cruising. I’m going to get the Uppa baby minu for airport travel and for my mom and aunt to use. They’re not fans of how bulky the vista is and the libelle doesn’t recline. I love the vista for theme parks and when we go out in larger groups since we have all the attachments. Like you I keep that in the car for when we go out. It’s the best for farmers markets and going to the mall! I can fit everything in it, plus I have the cooler so I can keep things cold too. Not having the mesh peakboo is one of the many reasons I didn’t like the libelle. For me it’s a big deal. I probably wouldn’t have gotten a Greco because from my experience their products tend not to be worth it. They’re not that much cheaper that other brands and the things I’ve gotten from that brand have all had to be replaced for various reasons. I have learned the hard way that with baby products a lot of times you get what you pay for. We want to have more children, so for me I don’t see an issue with having multiple strollers for different purposes because I know we’ll use them for many years.
r/NewParents • Who else has 2 or more strollers and one kid? Are my stroller choices justified? ->I bought a second hand Nuna Pipa car seat and Nuna Mixx stroller off fb marketplace. The combo was great when my son was in an infant car seat and we just clicked it into the stroller. Great. When he grew out of the infant car seat and was just using the stroller is when it all went downhill. The stroller by itself is sooooo heavy, clunky, and complicated! My baby screams like there’s no tomorrow when I try to buckle him in and please tell me why the buckling has so many parts? Also unless you drive a Yukon and have a truck the stroller will take up your entire trunk space. We bought a cybex libelle travel stroller and literally never looked back. It lightweight, folds up so tiny and even comes with adapters for an infant car seat like the nuna. 90% of the time we use a stroller now, we use the Cybex. We only use the Nuna for occasional walks or if we’re going somewhere without smooth terrain
r/NewParents • Strollers - what did you wish you knew before you bought? ->The gb pokit and the cybex libelle 2 both are the same stroller with minor finishing differences. They both come with arms that click in easily to the nuna pipa lite rx. It folds up nicely into a little bag (sold separately) and can fit in an overhead bin as well. They’re not as nice as the other brands mentioned, but you can buy new for <$200 on amazon right now.
r/Buyingforbaby • Cheap lightweight caddy for Nuna Pipa RX ->Op, I found the best to have two strollers. One travel one (I have a cybex Libelle but wish I had gone for the yoyo), and one more rugged one (I have the baby jogger city select). The baby jogger is a beast. I can carry two cases of Costco water bottles on the basket. Very useful for grocery runs and baby is always comfortable due to the reclining options and big shade. Can also go over mud and grass and large sidewalks like it’s nothing. But it is quite heavy. I switch them depending on what I need
r/moderatelygranolamoms • Moms, what attracted you to buy that stroller? ->We brought our Cybex Libelle 2 with us and it was incredibly useful. We attached a beach chair strap to the handles and we were able to collapse it and walk down metro stairs without issue. I believe the GB pockit All City is a similar model.
r/ParisTravelGuide • Stroller for 5 year old?? ->We just purchased the Cybex Libelle (currently on sale at Nordstrom) and it comes with adaptors for an infant car seat (compatible with our Nuna Pipa Aire). It’s very compact when it folds down and fits under the plane seat or in the overhead compartment.
r/Buyingforbaby • Travel stroller suggestions plz! ->I purchased the Cybex Libelle 2 for upcoming international travel. The fold down is super compact, price isn’t outrageously expensive, and it comes with infant car seat attachments (we have a Nuna Pipa Aire and it’s compatible).
r/Buyingforbaby • Travel stroller? ->We love our libelle! It was supposed to be a stroller for travel in the future but we wound up using it wayyyyyy more than expected simply because it was so convenient and folded up super small and took hardly any space in the trunk!
r/NewParents • Strollers - what did you wish you knew before you bought? ->Cybex Libelle 2 Ultra Compact. It folds so small it fits in the overhead compartment of the plane. It's lightweight, easy set up and to maneuver. The baby loved it. We took it to South America this past week. One negative, it does not go flat, but it does fit a car seat if you have tiny baby.
r/moderatelygranolamoms • Please share any recommendations for a travel stroller ? ->What we ended up getting was the Guava Lotus and the Cybex Libelle. Both for its size. The Libelle comes with adapters for the carseat (Cybex Cloud G)
r/BabyBumpsCanada • Travel Stroller and Travel Crib [ON] ->I have a jogging stroller and a travel stroller. The jogging stroller is huge and takes up so much space so for mall trips and stuff (starting around 6 months) I use the travel stroller. It folds up so small and fits in my cars “under trunk” space. It’s the cybex libelle.
r/fitpregnancy • Stroller options: jogging stroller for everyday use as well? ->Cybex Libelle or Coya. Say goodbye to gate-checking forever.
r/nycparents • What collapsible travel stroller do you recommend? ->I would say yes definitely take a strolller! With that being said I have a vista too while I love it, I am not lugging that thing around but we travel a lot so I ended up putting a cybex Libelle on my registry when I was pregnant best decision everrrrrr! It folds really small and goes in the over head bin. If you can opt for a small travel troller. You can use it for quick runs to the store the park etc. It doesn’t have to be a libelle an nice regular one would be great too!
r/Parenting • Turns 3 in two months - do you air travel with a stroller? ->"Travel System" just means a stroller bundled with a compatible car seat. Most strollers are compatible with multiple car seats with adapters, so I wouldn't limit myself to just packages advertised as travel systems. The notable exceptions are Uppababy car seats, which I think are only compatible with Uppababy strollers, and Nuna strollers, which are only compatible with Nuna car seats. Apologies in advance as my examples are mostly the higher-end brands; I swear I'm not a plug for any of them, it's just the space I've done the most research. IMHO, the main factor you should consider (aside from budget) is lifestyle. I'd broadly group strollers into 5 categories (excluding 3-wheelers and side-by-sides, which I don't know much about). Narrowing down which category fits your lifestyle best will help you eliminate a bunch of strollers immediately, which will make it much easier to further narrow down the best choice for you: 1. Ultracompact/travel strollers: - Most compact fold; IATA-compliant (i.e., approved as overhead luggage by most* airlines, although each airline may be different) - Typically <= 15-ish lbs - Non-reversible seats - Typically tiny wheels (<= 6" at rear) and minimal suspension - E.g.: Uppababy Minu v3, Bugaboo Butterfly, Joolz Aer+, Stokke/Babyzen Yoyo, Cybex Libelle, Peg Perego Volo, Ergobaby Metro +/3 2. Compact/Lightweight (Non-reversible) - Bigger (but still compact) fold, but probably not cabin approved. Can gate-check - Typically <=20-ish lbs - Non-reversible seats - Slightly bigger wheels (maybe 6-8" at rear) - E.g., Uppababy Minu v2, Nuna TRVL/TRVL LX, Cybex Beezy, Silver Cross Dune, Peg Perego Selfie 3. Hybrid (Lightweight Modular) - Bigger fold again, so won't fit in overhead, but should be able to gate-check. - <=24 lbs - Reversible (i.e., modular) seats - Bigger wheels (typically 7-10" at rear) - e.g., Nuna TRIV Next, Bugaboo Dragonfly, Peg Perego Vivace, Cybex Mios, Joolz Hub 2 4. Full-size Single (Modular) - Much bulkier fold; might not be able to gate-check, most likely have to be checked luggage - Typically >24 lbs - Bigger wheels (typically 10"+ at rear) - E.g., Uppababy Cruz v2, Nuna Mixx Next, Cybex Balios S Lux 2, Cybex Priam, Peg Perego Veloce, Silver Cross Reef, Bugaboo Fox, Joolz Day 5. Single-to-double - Has ability to add a second seat - Biggest folded dimensions; will be checked luggage - Typically >26 lbs - Biggest wheels (typically 11"+ at rear) - E.g., Uppababy Vista v2/v3, Nuna Demi Grow/Next, Cybex Gazelle S, Peg Perego Ypsi/Agio Z4, Silver Cross Wave, Bugaboo Kangaroo, Joolz Geo Everything above is a gross generalization - the Bugaboo Fox has massive 12" rear wheels and the Agio Z4 is lighter and folds more compact than most full-size single strollers. I think it might be easier to ignore categories 1 and 5 above as they have more specific use cases, unless you're having twins (although a side-by-side might be better in this case) or know for a fact you'll want the ability to toss the stroller in the overhead right from the get-go. So, between categories 2-4, the first question would be whether you want a reversible seat so the baby can face you? If you want this feature, then eliminate category 2. You're left with just 3 and 4, which should hopefully be a more manageable decision. Do you live downtown and walk everywhere? Then a compact fold might not matter for you and you'll want a sturdier stroller that can go over more varied types of terrain and stand up to all-day use - so stick to the full-size single category. If you live in the suburbs and drive everywhere, you might want what I've called a "hybrid", which has a reversible seat but still folds smaller than other full-size singles (easier to fit in trunk). As others have mentioned, I would also highly recommend trying them in-store. I actually found Dear-born baby to have more strollers to play around with than WCK, which had many options locked up.
r/BabyBumpsCanada • Stroller Stress - Any Recommendations [CA] ->We started out with the uppababy vista, it was my dream stroller and I had to convince my husband because of the price tag “but common it’ll be so handy when we have two!” We also got the kick board for it so we have multiple setups. But the thing is heavy, and huge. I got an umbrella stroller for an international trip for airports a couple years ago, which was super cheap but it did the job; my in laws use it mostly now because they can never figure out the vista. And now we just got the cybex libelle for a trip to South America. We still brought the vista but I figured after a 14-16 hr travel day with 3 kids, we would be happy to not have to carry the toddler around (baby in the carrier and oldest can walk)
r/NewParents • Strollers - what did you wish you knew before you bought? ->My kid fits the Cybex Libelle pretty well. It folds up so small it can be a carry-on. As tall parents, we find it pretty comfortable to use.
r/bigbabiesandkids • Best compact travel stroller for big baby? ->Many travel strollers do not officially meet the airline dimensions. I have the Cybex Libelle which is the GB Pockit All City. Most GB Pockits fold up smaller than many other travel strollers. They don’t have 1 hand fold. The cheapest one doesn’t have some features like recline and you need to watch the model names, +, is a different model than without it.
r/TravelHacks • Strollers while travelling ->Exactly. We flew from the US to Europe and went with two Cybex Libelles. They’ve been really handy for crowd trips as well since they pack up so small.
r/parentsofmultiples • Travel stroller for twins ->It doesn’t fit anything on your list, but we got the Cybex Libell for our twins when we went to Europe and loved how small it folded.
r/moderatelygranolamoms • Best travel stroller for Europe ->Our 10 month old is similar sized and we love the Cybex Libelle
r/bigbabiesandkids • Best compact travel stroller for big baby? ->I really rate the Cybex libelle. Smallest fold and the lightest I’ve seen (weighs around 6kg). The only downside is the seat doesn’t fold completely flat (it does recline) but mine stays permanently in my car and is my preferred buggy for popping to the shops etc.
r/BeyondTheBumpUK • Best travel stroller ->I like my Cybex Libelle! My Nuna Pipa carseat fits using the included adapters
r/BabyBumpsCanada • Travel Stroller Advice [bc] ->Yeah we had to buy two strollers 🙃 one for everyday for the car seat and bassinet. And one for travel. We bought the Cybex Gazelle S because it converts from one kid to two. And the Cybex Libelle for traveling.
r/BabyBumps • Am I being naive in wanting an absolute UNICORN of a stroller? Or do I just need to accept that I actually need three strollers? ->We went through the same thing before our first trip – lightweight means totally different things between brands. We actually ended up getting the Silver Cross Jet 5 but it does have its downsides. The Babyzen (Stokke) YOYO3 and CYBEX Libelle are both super compact and under 7kg. What you want to check is * Airline size guidelines (55 × 40 × 23 cm as IATA standard, with UK airline variations). * Ideal weight (≤7 kg). I’ve been tracking these for a small UK project called PramPal, so happy to share what’s actually under airline size if that helps!
r/BeyondTheBumpUK • Compact travel stroller recommendations ->What infant car seat do you have? We love the combination of the numa pipa seat and the gbpockit/cybex libelle stroller. The car seat can snap in and the stroller will last you until they are 4/5 as a travel stroller which folds up to fit in the overhead bin.
r/NewParents • Should we get a travel stroller ->Of these two I’d 100% pick the cybex
r/BabyBumpsCanada • Which stroller should i go with? [ON] ->I just tried a Cybex today at the store and while it was nice, I had the hardest time getting it to fold. 😭
r/BabyBumps • Overwhelmed by stroller options ->Yeah my husband and I were both interested in it until we tried to collapse it 😂 The search continues!
r/BabyBumps • Overwhelmed by stroller options ->Not Maxi Cosi, but I can share some of my thoughts on other strollers that may help. I went to WestCoast Kids to try out some strollers recently, I’m due in a few weeks so my experience is from using friends and families over the past couple of years. I ended up leaving with the bugaboo fox 5 (not the renew) with the bassinet / stroller seat and got a Nuna car seat. I think all together it came out to be 2,000 ish. I found it on sale luckily. I was eyeing a Cybex stroller and a Nuna stroller. The folding of the Cybex was unbearable for me, required two hands and just folding it at the store over stimulated me. Nuna was my second option if bugaboo didn’t work out and they have travel sets. UppaBaby felt too hefty for me, but I used it a while back and not the newer ones. UppaBaby does have a really lightweight car seat that you can attach to the stroller, I believe it’s the Aria. I wanted that one but it’s not compatible with my stroller.
r/BabyBumpsCanada • Overwhelmed - Stroller Recommendation [ON] ->I loved using our Cybex at that age! Its super light and can fit in the overhead bin [https://mavely.app.link/e/OAMDLkztVWb](https://mavely.app.link/e/OAMDLkztVWb)
r/NewParents • Travel Stroller recommendations for toddler ->Yeah, nah. Cybex strollers really are the shit. I bought a middle of the park discounted one and it grieves me whenever I see someone else with a Cybex stroller not having 10% of my pains to stow it away.
