Cybex has a few different ones. We have the gazelle, which is not small but amazing and well made. It handled air travel and all our needs like a champ. We have a few Cybex products and they are awesome! It’s a popular European brand that compares to uppababy and is sometimes cheaper! Our gazelle outperforms the cuz and vista in every way!
r/moderatelygranolamoms • Please share any recommendations for a travel stroller ? ->Test drives. I was set on an uppababy vista due to research then I tried the Cybex gazelle in a store and it was all over from there. Comparing the two made it no comparison.
r/moderatelygranolamoms • Moms, what attracted you to buy that stroller? ->I first narrowed it down by deciding I wanted a travel system. Had to fit in my vehicle so that narrowed things a bit. Also decided I wanted a stroller that can be a double in the future. That really narrowed things down. We went to West Coast Kids and they showed us the options. Thought about it, researched, and went back another day to purchase. We got the Cybex Gazelle stroller and Aton 2 car seat.
r/BabyBumpsCanada • Stroller Stress - Any Recommendations [CA] ->Here to plug the cybex gazelle! So many configurations and needs fewer adaptors down the line than the uppababy. Comes with a shopping basket too.
r/BabyBumpsCanada • BEST STROLLER/BASSINET/CARSEAT COMBO FOR 1st TIME MOM IN TORONTO? [on] ->I’d like to put in a good word for the cybex gazelle! No adaptors needed to switch to double stroller mode, and the second seat has the same max capacity as the first (unlike vista v2 rumble seat). Plus the basket is huge without that crossbar in the uppababy baskets. I literally would take mine shopping at Costco. It also comes with a shopping basket that attaches up top. No regrets about cybex!
r/BabyBumpsCanada • [On] UppaBaby Vista 3 vs. Evenflo Pivot / Graco ->Others have covered the feel, quality and suspension. I have both an Uppababy Vista V2 & a Cybex Gazelle and I prefer the Gazelle. It is so smooth, and handles so nicely :)
r/NewParents • What do I get with luxury/expensive strollers (uppababy, Nuna) over affordable ones (Chicco, Graco) ->Also consider the Cybex Giselle S stroller if you’re looking to spend that much on a stroller. I have it and love it.
r/NewParents • What do I get with luxury/expensive strollers (uppababy, Nuna) over affordable ones (Chicco, Graco) ->We have cybex gazelle and I looooove it
r/BabyBumps • Please just tell me what stroller to buy ->We have the e-Gazelle. I bought it quite a bit before our baby arrived and spent a lot of time thinking I was an idiot who got suckered into the novelty of an electric stroller. After having now actually used it for a month, it is fantastic. We don't even have many hills around us, but my baby loves the rocking feature. He uses it for some naps in our house, and if he's being a bit difficult to go to sleep I just put him in that and turn the rocking on. He's out super quick and the rocking times out after like 15 minutes. It is also awesome for being out and about, like a patio restaurant. I would highly recommend it, especially if you have a bunch of hills.
r/Buyingforbaby • Any cybex fans here? Stuck between cybex and uppababy ->Tons to consider! We initially bought the uppababy vista + mesa car seat and the bassinet attachment. We live in the suberbs and the bassinet attachment was great for long walks around the neighborhood. Unfortunately little man hated the car seat, we switched him to the full size nuna rava (comes w newborn insert) and he was much happier. I liked the vista for walks around my neighborhood, but it was heavy getting in and out of the trunk, didn’t fold down very small so it took up my whole trunk, and its base was awkwardly long so I would regularly bump into aisles and stuff at the grocery store. The mechanism to collapse and unfold is also v awkward imho I wound up also buying a cybex gazelle on the advice of my SIL. It’s a full size single to double stroller like the vista but with a smaller base. The base can hold 50 lbs in addition to the seat so we love it for random curbside scavenge pickups on the walk home from the park🤪 it’s also the only double stroller on the market that when used as a double the bassinet attachment can be on top close to mom rather than the ground. It also folds much smaller into my trunk and is a lot easier to fold/ unfold. For reference, I’m 5’8 and my husband is 6’4 and we can use both strollers comfortably. My best recommendation is to head to a baby store and test a few out to see what you love!
r/moderatelygranolamoms • Moms, what attracted you to buy that stroller? ->I have the Cybex Gazelle S stroller and love it! It’s our only stroller. We also get the full spectrum of weather (snow, sun, rain etc), have taken it on road trips, and have used it with one & two kids. It’s a great stroller. The shopping basket feature when it’s just one child comes in super handy. We switched out the shopping basket after my second came for a second seat, which was great for us (we knew that we wanted to have multiple kids in the near future as well and wanted to buy something nice off the bat that could accommodate a growing family). Personally, I’m not much of a jogger. However, this stroller glides so smoothly. It is so easy to push and turn, I’m sure it’d do just fine while running/jogging. We’ve taken it on a variety of terrains- even to the pumpkin patch (all dirt). It does great on sidewalks and paths/trails. The handle height is also super easy to adjust- like it can be done in a second as long as you know which button to hold down so it can easily accommodate parents/users of various heights. I’m pregnant with my third currently and he’s tracking pretty tall as well. I’m not concerned about the seat. I think that it can accommodate tall kids with how’s it’s designed. I actually really like the seat because it is super breathable for those hot summer days and can recline easily for baby/toddler’s comfort. Overall, I’d highly recommend Cybex Gazelle S. Our third kid should be here soon and the stroller is still in like new condition even though we bought it years ago with our first. It was one of our best baby purchases and I’m so thankful that we went with it off the bat.
r/Buyingforbaby • Yet another stroller post ->I have the Cybex Gazelle S Stroller (just the regular version, not electric) and I absolutely love it! We also have the Cybex Aton car seat. I’m pregnant with our third baby and we plan on continuing to use both of these. When we first got our Cybex stroller, I was able to test it out in store prior to purchase and it glides so smoothly. When we had only one kid, I was surprised by how much that removable shopping basket feature came in handy. We used it a ton. When our second baby came, we switched out the shopping basket for another seat (first the car seat, then we eventually just ended up buying an additional toddler seat). We’ve been rough with this stroller and it’s still in like new condition. We’ve used it in a variety of seasons (snow, sunny, etc) and on a variety of terrains. We even used it at the pumpkin patch, which was all dirt paths, somewhat uneven surface, and a bunch of hills. It works great. It’s not the easiest to get over a curb nor carry when folded but we absolutely love this stroller. It’s been so beneficial to start off with this stroller and it has grown with our family. It’s really easy to push- my toddler has pushed baby sister in it at the zoo. I can’t speak for the other models or other brands, but the Cybex Gazelle S is a quality stroller that grows with a family and is worth the purchase. We love it and keep ours stored in the car trunk when not in use. Folds very easily too (as long as you know how to/the buttons to push). Definitely would recommend the Cybex Gazelle S stroller
r/Buyingforbaby • Any cybex fans here? Stuck between cybex and uppababy ->I wanted the vista but my kids were 4.5 years apart, I had given our britax travel system away. I went with the cybex gazelle for my second baby, skipped the infant car seat and went straight to a convertible seat for her. It’s nice. I use it on trails, it goes on cobble roads, it goes on everything with no problems. It’s smoother, it’s just better. I should be able to resell it pretty easily as well, that’s nice. It also has a bunch of different configurations if you needed to double up or have a kid boogie board thing. I didn’t do any of that. I also have the summer infant 3D lite for travel, it’s an umbrella stroller.
r/NewParents • What do I get with luxury/expensive strollers (uppababy, Nuna) over affordable ones (Chicco, Graco) ->We have the Cybex Gazelle S—regular version, not the electric one—and we love it. We have two kids now and still love it. Happy to answer any questions.
r/Buyingforbaby • Any cybex fans here? Stuck between cybex and uppababy ->we did the britax b-lively travel system with our first. neither the stroller or the car seat were my favorite but we’re sticking with the seat for #2 because it does work well. i was super excited to have to get a new stroller! i just want to plug the cybex gazelle s for a stroller! i went to a store to try double strollers and had three others on my list including the uppababy and the salesperson completely changed my mind and sold me on the cybex. i don’t see it mentioned much in listicles and wouldn’t have found it myself without the salesperson but again im so blown away. didn’t want toddler to feel like it was only for the baby (plus i was excited) we we’ve already been using it and it’s truly AMAZING. i love it.
r/BabyBumps • Where to start with strollers and why is it so confusing! ->Do some research on return policies for wherever you purchase from. I purchased the Cybex Gazelle (not the e version) back when it was still relatively new. And the seat was defective. It never locked into place. We purchased from a Buy Buy Baby about 2 hours away. They said that their regional Cybex rep had to approve the return/exchange but they could never get a hold of them. On a few occasions I was told she would be in on a certain day and to come in. So we would plan a whole weekend day with the toddler in tow to return it. Each time they weren’t there and the store couldn’t take it. We were livid. Eventually I complained enough and said I’m not leaving the store with this defective item again and I’m not leaving without my money back. This was after 4 months since the day of purchase and they finally issued a refund. Found out later that it had been recalled. It was a nightmare.
r/Buyingforbaby • Any cybex fans here? Stuck between cybex and uppababy ->We got a cybex gazelle on marketplace (similar to the uppababy), but we only use it for carseats and the occasional "narrow" outing. I call it "the bus". For day to day walks, we prefer our Valco Duo Trend. Easier to fold up with seats, more maneuverable, and easier to get the babies into. But I know another twin mom who mostly uses the Vista... so I think it's really a lifestyle question
r/parentsofmultiples • Are twins happy in stacked prams? ->We have the Cybex Gazelle which is a similar set up to the Vista, and never had any issues in the newborn stage. When they were a few months older, sometimes we did put our more sensitive baby on top facing us (depending on his mood). It's nice to have the option. But anyway the vast majority of the time they're both perfectly content in either position. Like others have said though, we did end up getting a cheaper side-by-side travel stroller and a wagon to use for different types of outings. Each have their benefits and limits. Between them they cover all our needs. If you're looking for a newborn-friendly side-by-side option though, check out the Valco Snap Duo or the Bugaboo Donkey.
r/parentsofmultiples • Are twins happy in stacked prams? ->I'm also considering the e-gazelle. I'm in San Francisco and live at the top of a hill, and not only am I nervous about pushing a stroller up the hills, but I'm nervous about it getting away from me/becoming unwieldy walking down the hill. That said, I also can't tell if just getting something lighter makes sense. I tried the Cruz in a store and then some Nuna strollers, and I can't tell if I'm just being contrarian because everyone seems to love the uppababy strollers, but the Cruz almost felt like the worst of both worlds--still decently heavy but also no electric assist. I won't need to be lifting the stroller up stairs, or if I do it would be the 5 or so steps into our building (but not up the rest of them). I did get to test out the e-Gazelle but the store is on an almost entirely flat street so it was hard to tell. I did think it would take some time to learn to control the electric bit, but I don't think it would be a problem. We do plan on having another kid but I don't know what the spacing will be like/if we'll end up needing a double stroller. I'm just so lost, and I can't find good guidance on hills! One video review was like "I could only see the e-gazelle being worth it if you're on hills", which I am, but it was such a throwaway comment I can't tell if it's a huge mistake lol. Everything I see about hills is about hiking, not urban hills Curious what you ended up deciding on!
r/Buyingforbaby • Any cybex fans here? Stuck between cybex and uppababy ->I registered for the cybex gazelle after a lot of research. Both seats accommodate up to 50 lbs. the first set of car seat adapters are built into the stroller you just have to buy the 2nd set of adapters. We are looking at the Nuna pipa rx car seats which click right into the adapters. I wanted a tandem stroller rather than a side by side (personal preference).
r/parentsofmultiples • Best stroller for twins, specifically ones that you can click infant car seats into? ->I love my Gazelle S, and it can hold two kids so I'm thinking I'll be using it a lot with baby #2... I loved it for baby #1 as well. We still use it daily and baby 1 is 18 months. If I had to get a single stroller right now though with baby #2 on the way, I'd focus on a one hand fold/open that allows a clip in infant car seat (with or without adapter). No question. Especially knowing I'll be wrangling a toddler and baby. I have a Yoyo that we use for travel and I am not a fan. It's a pain in the tush to fold, it's only redeemable quality seems to be every flight attendant knows it fits in the overhead bin so we didn't have any issues on a bunch of international flights. The under storage basket is way too small and the bars make it impossible to hold anything. Recently you can find me in the parking lot slamming it against the pavers trying to collapse it. I can't stand that thing.
r/SAHP • Stroller Recommendations for 2 kids ->We went with a Cybex Gazelle when our 2nd daughter was born. It's in a similar class as the uppababy Vista, but a few hundred cheaper. I was hesitant to spend so much on a stroller, but it's leaps and bounds better than our old chicco bravo. Better suspension, feels more sturdy, more storage, easier to fold and unfold. It's a good single stroller that converts to a double, and unlike the Vista, both seats are the same size.
r/daddit • Wife is 15 weeks - went down a stroller rabbit hole… ->We tried the uppababy vista and the cybex gazelle and the gazelle was a little lighter. Has held up well. It’s our go to travel stroller. I’d have tried a nuna double stroller if they were available as the hookup for the nuna car seat to either of these strollers is a bit clunky.
