Yep, I use the Metro 3 as my primary stroller and I love it for my 3 month old. You can set it and fold it in any position. It is also pretty light for when you need to carry it around. I do agree that my son looks pretty small in the seat but he has fit the harness fine since birth and loves being in it.

You aren’t going to get a travel friendly jogging stroller. I would just baby wear for hikes while travelling. For a car seat friendly travel stroller, I would recommend the ergobaby metro 3. It is newborn friendly even without the car seat as it has a bassinet mode. You would have to get a car seat that works with the adaptors. I have the older version (Metro+) and love it. It’s been on 5 plane trips, with two out of country. We just came back from Ireland this week and it was great.

Good with winter weather and easy to travel are going to be hard to find. The vista does everything but is bulky and I wouldn’t travel with it. I know people who have though. The ergobaby metro 3 is a great travel size stroller. It would probably manage a little bit of snow on the ground, but not snow drifts. It doesn’t have a detachable bassinet, but the seat does go all the way flat and the footrest flips up to create a bassinet. It is car seat compatible, but double check which ones. I would also look into babywearing, because not all babies nap nicely in the bassinet, haha (mine didn’t at 4 months).

I second the ergobaby metro. I have the metro 3 and though I haven’t flown with it yet it folds down so small. I bought the carrying case for it and we’ll be taking it on our first flight with him in a few weeks. It’s also comfy for him and has good size storage underneath. My only want is a snack tray to hold his drink and snacks

I have 2: a travel (ergobaby metro 3) and full size (mocking bird single). I bought the mockingbird second hand from fb marketplace and it’s amazing for walks in the neighborhood which I do almost every day. It’s heavy duty but turns and moves very easily. Also car seat adaptable if we want to haul it into the car and take it with us. The metrobaby 3 was a gift and has a newborn nest so can also be used from birth and is lightweight and folds very easily, so it lives in the car trunk.

I have this stroller and used it for a month with my then 5.5mo baby traveling around Europe. The recline is just a strap you tighten/loosen and the angle depends on how much you that. It's a good stroller! And if you buy on Amazon don't forget to use a baby registry for 10-15% discount

Metro city 3: light, easily collapsible, near flat recline with “bassinet” type feature for resting in the airport, multiple vents for air circulation - was an easy choice for us!

I purchased the Ergobaby Metro 3 yesterday after doing a lot of research and trying out a few options in store. Tbh most of the travel strollers on the market are pretty comparable. At some point you end up debating between very minor differences so it’s fully up to you what you value most. The super compact ones tend to be a little worse on the stability and suspension and are more “flimsy” if it makes sense. I wasn’t a huge fan of the Bugaboo butterfly for this reason.

With the amount of cobbles you will encounter in Italy you need something with good suspension. It was as good as  non existent on the metro plus so if it's ergobaby you are keen on you should definitely consider the metro 3 over the older versions. Joolz aer also has great suspension but is also too expensive for a compact stroller IMO.

There were quite a few complaints with the old metro that seemed to be resolved in the new one. I was in your boat too but I've ordered the metro 3. I suppose you can always order them both and return the one you don't like

How come you got both? I thought they were pretty similar in terms of the type of stroller they are. Which one do you like more? We just ordered the ergo metro 3 with a 15% discount. Will see how it works when it arrives. It looks to have more padding on the seat and our baby still doesn't really know how to sit so maybe the padding will help

We ended up getting the ergo metro 3 already haha. With a 15% off registry deal it ended up under 400$. The only thing I don't like about it so far is the back wheels are narrower than front, so the storage basket isn't super easy to access from the back. I thought about returning the metro 3 and get the minu instead but I'm sure there will be other things I don't like about the minu too lol. I hope I don't regret this choice haha! Thanks for letting me know!!

I just got the metro 3 and loved it for the two days it worked. Unfortunately the brake jammed the one wheel and now is constantly doing it. Have to take wheel off and fiddle with it to get it to release. I’m waiting to hear back from ergo baby to see what will be done.

With a 4 month old you'd still need a stroller that can lie flat and many travel strollers don't recline all the way! Check out the ergobaby metro which has a built in bassinet mode without additional attachments

We love our ergobaby metro! Edit: some considerations that will help you narrow down options - what's your budget? The bugaboo butterfly, uppababy minu, joolz aer, stokke yoyo etc are highly rated compact strollers but are the most expensive. The ergobaby metro is a mid range priced stroller. There are also very affordable options too. Are there specific features you care about? For example, do you want it to be able to fully recline flat for naps or for younger babies, or a canopy with good coverage, or a good size basket? The ergobaby metro checks those boxes. Or do you care more about being super lightweight? The joolz aer is only 13 pounds. Or do you want a large basket? The bugaboo butterfly is your pick.

This! Laying flat is a lot more comfortable and safer than being in a car seat - car seat technicians will always say car seats should only be used in cars to minimize risk of positional asphyxiation. Especially for a baby that young! Our babies loved the built in bassinet mode of the metro and always slept well in them. Bonus - this works well as a flat changing table when on the go!

The ergobaby metro 3 does recline flat. Surprisingly, the most difficult feature for me to find when shopping for a travel stroller was the ability for my child to sit fully upright. All the ones I saw sit reclined. I ended up giving up and buying the ergobaby metro 3 which checked all of my other boxes, but I do wish it allowed my kid to sit more upright.

I’m going to second the metro 3 - haven’t tried it yet for flying but it’s super smooth on wheels which helps a lot with all the walking at Disneyland and in LA and super comfortable for the kid to sit in. Also very reclinable for the nap and has a huge canopy compared to other travel strollers which can help with that SoCal sun. The carrying bag is super nice but not necessary since it is an extra additional purchase. It folds down with one hand which is a winner in my book and has enough space in the bottom storage area for all your snacks and water

Hi, I actually have both the metro+ and I just got the metro 3. I traveled all around Japan with a 15-month-old with the metro+ so it’s not a bad travel or everyday stroller option by any means but I will say that the metro 3 has several features that make me like it more and are worth the additional price: - ease of folding / unfolding: I always struggled with the mechanism for the metro+, and never liked that sometimes I would have to use both hands; with the metro 3 I can easily fling it open with one  - the canopy: the metro+ canopy is really glitchy which can also make it more inconvenient to use and the metro 3 canopy is expandable!  - the wheels: either stroller actually has good wheels but so far metro 3 are smooth and their suspension is better than my other stroller (Nuna TRVL)  - standing upright: the metro+ would often fall over in the trunk while the metro 3 has been holding more steady  - newborn features: not sure if this is applicable to you now or later but the metro 3 has a whole new attachment / encasement for newborns that the metro+ doesn’t have There are more comparisons / reasons why, but honestly, the folding mechanism and the canopy were such deal breakers for me that I won’t be using the metro+ any more and have moved on to the 3. If it makes you feel any better it looks like metro + strollers have free returns if you decide to try that one first  https://ergobaby.com/return-policy.

I had the zelia max, uppababy Cruze v2 and I’m now using an ergobaby metro 3. I loved the zelia! It was light, bassinet feature was amazing and it was a great deal when on sale for a travel system. It got damaged when I was on holiday and I got the Cruz which is easier to push but heavier for sure. So heavy I’ve just replaced it with the new metro stroller. I say get the zelia, it was beautiful in black and felt premium. I got it from Nordstrom before they vanished and it was absolutely worth it. People compare the zelia to uppababy which I don’t think is fair. It’s better than Graco but not as good as uppababy and it’s priced where it belongs. This sub swears by certain brands like uppababy, baby bjorn, woolino etc and it’s honestly not that deep.

We have the Metro and I wish I'd skipped the carseat compatibility detour and just gotten it from the start. It lays flat, so you can use it from birth, and even though you might be thinking now that avoiding taking the LO out of the carseat is a worthwhile investment in convenience, I promise that in a couple short weeks that convenience factor disappears. That is because 1) the baby is just so much less floppy at that point that in/out of the carseat is kind of nbd, 2) being out of the carseat is more comfy for them, 3) the carseat gets HEAVY as your baby gets heavier. Also the Metro is carseat compatible too, if you find yourself wanting that option. They have adapters for them! I have a small car and this stroller's compactness and light weight was really life changing for us.

If I were you I would order the metro 3 and see what you think, you can always return if you don’t like it!! It’s honestly so good!!

I was between the minu v3 and the ergo metro 3. Tried both at west coat kids. I liked the strap feature of the minu when I initially saw it online but in store it didn’t feel that comfortable on the shoulder. I saw a mom on another Reddit post her TikTok where she bought carrying strap on Amazon and connected it to the metro 3. I liked the option of having a strap if I was alone with baby so both hands could be free. I got the metro3 and added the strap and it’s much more comfortable than the minu strap. The metro3 has way more advantages than the minu in terms of recline and ventilation. The fabric is also much more plush. My only hesitation is I have a clek car seat which work with the minu but hasn’t been tested with the metro 3 I linked it below! [https://a.co/d/8NeMAGF](https://a.co/d/8NeMAGF)

We have the ergo baby metro 3 that recently came out and it’s great. We bought it mainly for traveling when our baby was 2 months old, it’s one of the few travel strollers that has a full recline so baby can lay flat in it when they’re too little for sitting upright. Only downside is it does not swap to rear facing, but you can get a car seat adapter and use that when baby is teeny tiny. We took it on some gravel and some rough sidewalks and it’s done great. Full disclosure, we also have a Thule urban glide for running with baby. So we are a two stroller house… but the metro lives in my car and the running stroller is mainly what we use around the neighborhood for runs, it doesn’t go in the car unless we really want it for something.

I’ve been searching since October but couldn’t pull the trigger because every one I looked up had a flaw to me. But I was about to pull the trigger on the metro 3 last night . But now I’m sold thank you. I have 3 kids under 8 with youngest being 14 months and a jeep compass, so not much room but constantly going to park/walks/stores

We travelled with our 4 month old and used the Metro3 and it was great! Our baby is fairly average sized, and they were very secure in it. Echoing the other posters - the Metro3 does have customizable recline level, the videos are probably just showing you the full spectrum of upright to fully flat instead of the options in between :)

It’s really difficult to get a stroller to fit all your wants. A lightweight travel stroller is not really suitable to go for long walks in. I know two that are newborn ready without car seat or attachments: Uppababy Minu3 and ergo baby metro. For s middle of the road stroller there’s joie ginger. The seat itself can be a bassinet for your little so perfect for newborns and you won’t need extras. My own personal favorite is Bumbleride era. Newborn ready, all terrain capeable. If your budget allows I’d have a travel stroller for travel and in the car for errands and then a proper full size for walks and outings

You’re asking for two different strollers here imo. Car seat compatible, light weight, errands is one category is one and the other is for walks and spacious storage. There’s basically no stroller that’s gonna hit all your wishes. A car seat shouldn’t be used as a stroller seat for walks. It’s fine for quick errands and dr appointments but if you’re taking kiddo for a walk they should be in a newborn ready stroller (flat surface). There is a few travel stroller that’s are but they won’t be great for walks. One the wheels are tiny and two you won’t be able to see your little squish. Storage in these are limited as well. Ergobaby metro 3 or uppababy mini v3 are good options to hit most of your needs, just know the limitation like they’re not gonna be the best for outside walks outside smooth road and sidewalk and you can’t look at baby unless they’re in the car seat which they shouldn’t be for walks. Joie Ginger stroller and Rue car seat are cool. The seat converts to bassinet style for baby while they’re little, seat can face either way, and you can click the car seat in when just running errands. It’s made by the people that make Nuna. I have had bugaboo donkey, vista v3, and bumbleride era as full size strollers. Bumbleride is perfect for just one kiddo. Infant ready without any bassinet needed, can clip in certain car seats if you want. My kids have napped in it daily. I use the vista way more now because that basket is fantastic when you have many kids and need to carry all their crap. I don’t use it as a double though. Loved the bassinet and used til baby couldn’t fit at all anymore. If my very tall three year old want to ride I wear the youngest. It’s really about your specific needs, where you will use it, how often, for how long at a time, etc. I prefer one full size and one travel size because they fit perfectly to each specific need whereas a middle size one doesn’t fit either need I have. Too big to use as a travel/lightweight one and too small to have proper storage and walking in all my terrains capabilities.

More on the brake issue - The brake actually got stuck when we were traveling and it was super frustrating. However, if you end up with this stroller and it happens to you, you can just remove the wheel quickly and pop the brake out. It’s super easy but definitely a hassle if and when it happens. Once it gets stuck, it starts happening a lot more often. Other than the brake though, this stroller is wonderful and is probably the best value out there.

If you’re considering the UPPAbaby Minu V3, definitely check out the Ergobaby Metro+ 3. They’re very similar, but the Metro+ 3 is $350 compared to $550 for the Minu. You can usually find a 15% off coupon with a quick Google search, and Ergobaby offers 20% off for teachers, nurses, and military. I was torn between the two, but after watching a million reviews, I realized the Minu V3 didn’t offer anything the Metro+ 3 didn’t—at least not anything that justified the extra $200. I’ve taken the Metro+ 3 out a few times and it pushes great—smooth and easy to steer one-handed. The basket holds over 20 lbs, the seat sits very upright (a must for my baby), and it also fully reclines for newborns. The ventilation is better than on the Minu, which was a top priority for me since we live in a warm climate. It has a one-handed auto-fold (huge win!), and while the unfold isn’t quite as smooth, I’ve still managed it one-handed. I also got the bumper bar since my baby loves holding onto those. One of my favorite features: it fits behind the driver’s seat of my Prius! That was a big deal because our main stroller—the Cybex Gazelle—takes up the entire trunk. Before this, I had the Cybex Libelle (open-box from goodbuybaby.com). It was fine—super compact and came with a car seat adapter—but I didn’t love that it didn’t sit upright and had no peekaboo window. I wouldn’t have paid $300 for it, but I got it for $150 and sold it for $100 after one trip when my baby was 5 months old. Now that my baby is using the stroller seat more, I wanted something more comfortable and better quality—and the Metro+ 3 has totally delivered.

I started my stroller journey by buying a highly recommended stroller and hating it... and ended up with multiple ones, which turned into testing over 100 models and reviewing them :) That said: NOT LOVING: Uppababy Vista - rides smooth, but too big and bulky Mockingbird - awful, scary with recalls, doesn't drive smoothly as all Cybex Orfeo - too flimsy Cybex Coya - where do I even begin with this bad fold GB Pockit - not worth your fingers Ergobaby Metro - too heavy for a travel stroller and unfold feels meh SummerInfant 3d quickclose - too good to be true, super flimsy Nuna TRVL - too short seat, too big to take into the cabin and too expensive for what it is Uppababy Minu - too big for a travel stroller model, weird bumper bar and flimsy canopy LOVING: Cybex Priam - amazing, especially the e-version. If I were to get a one full-size stroller this would be my top choice Stokke Yoyo3 - most well-known and guaranteed on board Joolz Aer - smooth ride, great accessories Joolz Hub2 - solid mid-size option Cybex Gazelle - good for 2 under 2 Bombi - good mid-size option Bugaboo Butterfly 2 - didn't like the first version, but these upgrades made it better Mamazing - good budget option Zoe Traveler - amazing canopy and solid stroller Inglesina Quid - cute solid compact stroller

To be frank I think your list is a bit hard to achieve with one stroller. I personally have a cybex gazelle which I love because it can turn into a double and the storage basket is huge. My travel stroller is ergobaby metro and I love it for travel bc it’s cabin approved and the full recline is useful for naps on the go. However if 1 handed fold is important to you, the Nuna TRVL can be a great option for you. If you buy the Nuna car seat it fits in the stroller, it’s a travel stroller (but not sure if cabin approved). I have not personally seen many travel systems sell for less than 800 besides I think graco, evenflo and chicco but I’m not familiar with any of these that would fit your description precisely. The Nuna unfortunately doesn’t have a large basket. Large baskets I’ve only seen on large strollers like my gazelle or UB vista (the Cruz has a decent basket too). If you want the Nuna system for roughly 800 you can probably get a used stroller from marketplace and wait for the PIPA to go on sale. We have a PIPA for our son and really like it. Nuna strollers don’t work with car seats besides Nuna unfortunately.

I have both and use both, but you definitely don’t *need* both. I have the ergobaby metro which is amazing for flying because it fits in the overhead bin so no risk of damage by gate checking it. That being said, I used our uppababy travel system constantly when my daughter was first born. Popping her car seat in and out of the stroller for errands was significantly easier than lugging the car seat in the store and/or taking her out of her car seat to go in the store. Plus the bassinet attachment was so nice for neighborhood walks at the beginning. It comes down to your lifestyle, what’s important to you from a convenience standpoint, and your budget. I still choose the uppababy over my ergobaby metro unless we’re traveling because it’s a smoother ride and my daughter seems more comfortable in it. Honestly she prefers our veer wagon to all strollers anyway so that’s also an option (has a nap system attachment that turns it into a bassinet) and your baby will enjoy that for many years to come. You can also find a lot of strollers second hand for very reasonable prices and the resale value is pretty good.

I use the Nuna trvl as my travel and every day stroller and I think it does very well . Easy to fold , not so heavy, easy to fit in the car ( won’t be accepted in the airplane) but so fas it hasn’t been a issue for us ( and we travel a lot ) we just give it at the gate . the wheels are not so big but the suspension is good . So for me it’s okay as everyday stroller . The chair doesn’t recline a lot but in the first months we used it with the car seat ( nuna pipa ) . The basket side is good . Enough for a diaper bag my bag or some other things. I would say the only thing I hate are the straps . I think I never learn to use them properly or maybe now that my son is 17 months the seem to be short for him . Before I purchased the nuna I ordered two more ; : the yoyo , the ergo metro. I wanted to love the yo-yo but seemed pretty small for a bigger todller The ergo metro seemed cheaper but I think it’s a good option

I traveled with my baby at 3.5 months. I nursed while traveling, it was the easiest of the options. I started training myself going out, learning to nurse on the carrier, nursing at the mall, in restaurants. However my baby is now 6 months and very easily distracted- I've become really familiar with nursing rooms in malls, most airports also have nursing rooms so maybe consider that? Solids- we've started solids with my baby. For now he only really needs one piece of food/meal a day, so if we're going out we bring a cucumber, or a fruit. But he's also been eating from my plate, pizza crust, steamed veggies, yesterday he got a taste of a mild curry! I'm not sure about feeding this way every day as we're also being careful about allergen introductions etc. Also, feeding a baby is a messy ordeal, mine ends up in the bath 8/10 times he eats. Stroller- I LOVE my ergobaby metro. Got it because it was more budget friendly than other travel strollers and also because it reclines fully so baby is able to easily nap in it. It folds small but the OG isn't cabin approved so we had to gate check it. We just used a thick plastic bag as a cover and I highly recommend some sort of cover for both car seat and stroller, plane hulls are gross! My travel stroller gets a lot of use these days as it's better than my uppababy to take shopping, to restaurants etc. For the car seat you can also consider renting one with your rental car. It isn't too much more and may be easier to travel with less stuff. But definitely get a cover if you take yours. Some people even suggest traveling with the car seat box as that way you can see damage. My main tip for traveling with a baby is- remember your baby is a person and has as much right to be there as anyone else! They also have a right to have their needs tended to - feeding, changing etc. I found most people helpful and understanding but I would stress myself out thinking it was inconveniencing others... Also, bring extra diapers and a couple of clothing changes easily accessible- something about traveling and diaper blowouts. And board the plane last! Let those traveling with you take all the stuff ahead and you board as the last person, the least amount of time sitting with baby the better.

Also have 3 strollers! Second hand uppababy vista with the bassinet/seat for walks in the neighborhood, it handled the snow really well; ergobaby metro for travel and now as my car stroller (uppababy takes up most of the trunk); and a running stroller we got second hand as well. The running stroller we might switch to one that can be also a bike trailer, but baby is only 5 months so we haven't run with him yet. You could get a jogging stroller as your everyday stroller. I have friends who do that. Some are adapted to use with the car seat and the large wheels are great in the snow into the toddler years.

I have two strollers: a jogging stroller (Bob all terrain pro, this was great in the snow) and a travel stroller (Ergobaby Metro). I prefer to babywear when I’m out and about so I definitely don’t need a third stroller. I think your stroller needs depend a lot on your lifestyle and where you live.

We love our Ergobaby metro stroller for travel. I think it’s checks most of your boxes and it did fine for us all through Scotland. For what it’s worth, decided to just go ahead and use our American car seat for that Scotland trip. I read a lot of pros and cons to renting a UK seat while we were there and ultimately I was more comfortable knowing it was our seat and hadn’t been through an accident. From what I read most law enforcement doesn’t really care if you have a foreign car seat and it’s not an issue they would press but that may depend on the country and obviously depends what level of risk you’re comfortable with.

In a situation where we’ve had to get around from place to place, we rent a car and bring our car seat (the airline checks it for free), or most car rental companies rent car seats along with their cars. We use the ergobaby metro stroller while travelling and love it as you can fold it up to fit in the carry on.

We love our ergobaby metro stroller for travelling, especially for the fact it folds up such that you can use it as one of your carry on items on the plane and have access to it the moment you deplane/don’t have to worry about it getting damaged!

Not sure it's worth getting another stroller for 5 weeks. Unless you have concerns about your baby's neck and core strength,  they're probably fine reclined in your uppababy seat. If you want to get another stroller anyways (like a small travel stroller), the ergobaby is compact (fit in the overhead bin on a flight to Europe) and reclines flat, though the seat doesn't go fully vertical,  which annoyed my 15 month old when we were sight seeing

I have a love hate relationship with this stroller. It’s cheaper than the bugaboo and it has full lie down for travel naps but geez, I really hope in their new model they figured out the unfold and brakes. There is no one someone can hold their baby and unfold this easily at the same time. It’s a 2 person or put down your baby job

5 weeks is pretty young for a travel stroller as they usually don't parent face and are don't always recline all the way flat. I have the ergo baby metro and it does recline fully and the newer model looks even better for younger babies. I was also looking at the evenflo reversi. I'm not sure how heavy it is but I like that it was more lightweight than my Cruz and could still parent face.

I have the ergobaby metro. It isn't my favourite but it's fine. The fold and unfold is weird to me and I would say it isn't super smooth. We use it for walks around the neighborhood sometimes (usually use our main stroller) and if I'm not paying attention we can get stuck on uneven sidewalks. I haven't traveled with it yet but it would be fine if you're mostly on pavement

We have the ergo baby metro. Overall I like it a lot. I LOVE that it folds completely flat so my LO used to nap in it comfortably. My almost 2 year old still fits in it nicely and it packs up pretty small. The underneath storage is small but it is on all travel strollers. The only thing I don't love is how it opens. I find it super awkward and difficult to do if I have anything else (like a toddler) in my hands

Ergobaby Metro. Strong, yet family light. You can push it through the aisle in a plane. Easy to fold and carry on escalator..I've used used it in the underground. Good for towns and cities. I think can hold a child up to 25 kg. Folds away and you can put it in the overhead thingy in a plane and takes up little room in a boot.

I love our ergobaby metro so so much it is our go to stroller we almost never use the mockingbird one anymore. We took it traveling in Europe and it was a dream to fly and adventure with too. My ONLY gripe is it does not come with a snack tray. I hate that I would have to buy the separate bar and then buy a janky clip on snack tray.

By default you cannot use an infant car seat long term—it’s limited to about a year of use and many folks switch to a convertible car seat sooner due to preference or because the bucket gets too heavy to maneuver. Personally I much prefer a “real” stroller to the Doona which is not that easy to push. You don’t need a high end brand—Graco and Chicco are two really well regarded brands in terms of safety and have a slightly lower price point. I wound up with a jogging stroller that accepts a bassinet attachment as well as an Ergobaby brand travel stroller which is what I bring out and about. I love the travel stroller—it can accept an infant seat but also reclines fully flat so can be used for a newborn without a car seat, and it’s easy to fold and fits in an airplane overhead. We typically use the jogger (now with a regular seat) for walks from the house and keep the travel stroller in the car.

Being able to take it on a plane as hand luggage is really useful, both for the long walk to the baggage carousel and because it's much less likely to get damaged. It's also good as they're so light. We had an Ergobaby Metro which was around 6kg so it was possible to lift it with a toddler inside it, which made dealing with stairs much easier. Once we bought it we sold our travel system and used it full time, because it was also much more convenient for catching buses and meant more boot space (which was at a premium as we had a Fiesta!).

I have a jogger stroller and we absolutely LOVE IT (Bumbleride Indie, it lays flat so baby doesn't need a car seat as a newborn), I definitely prefer it over the non jogging ones we tried. That being said, it's a bit big for places like the aquarium, assuming it's as busy as the one here. Buuuut a good option is having a second, smaller stroller to keep in the car for stores and busy places. We got an Ergobaby Metro for travel and it's lived in the car the last few months because it's so handy having it and not dragging the big one around.

I have the Ergobaby Metro. Have taken it on the plane, overhead bin. Buy the bag for it, cause it's like a back pack and it makes it easier to carry. It's held up even in pushing in snow, here in Calgary. I have the rain cover (worked great when I lived in Vancouver LOL) and the footmuff for the cold temps here in Alberta.

I have and like the ergo baby metro. I hate to admit I like it better than my more expensive and large phil&ted sport It fits behind my driver seat (I’m 5’4), it packs up easy and can open up one handed. The seat is adjustable so if my baby needs a nap I can lay it flat. Decent amount of storage at the bottom. Edit: added more info

We have 2 strollers—A 2015 Uppababy Cruz v1 and a Ergobaby Metro stroller. We use the Uppababy when we walk around the neighborhood and to the grocery story. It’s just too big and cumbersome in my car trunk to be taking it everywhere. We got the Ergobaby as our travel stroller for vacation, but realized we like using it within the urban setting as it’s so compact.

I travelled by plane with the ergobaby metro. My 4 month old was super comfortable, and I felt good that she was safe with the lie flat. She was able to sleep, and it was really easy to maneuver. We gate checked it with the bag, but honestly the bag was so thin I’m not sure it did a whole lot- made it easier for carrying when she wasn’t in it though.

I have the Ergobaby metro, and I believe it has the best quality and features of your choices., e.g., full recline (newborn freindly), foot rest, long extended shade, a seat back that keeps your child more upright versus the natural recline on the YOYOetc. However, it's heavy for solo travel. I use it when traveling with my husband, but for solo travel, I'm getting a Coya. It's next best for features compared to the Ergo but is almost 4 pounds lighter.

I have an everyday stroller (evenflo pivot xpand) for mall/walks/etc. it’s good and will last for the toddler years and second/third kids etc. I like that there’s the option to use the bucket or the bassinet/toddler seat I have a travel one (Ergobaby metro) that supposedly fits in the overhead bin but I don’t like to do that, so I just check it at the gate. We also got a second hand running stroller cause my husband runs and wants to go with baby. That all said, we have a garage to store all these things. If you’re limited on space I’d forgo the running one and get an everyday one you can also run with

Ergobaby travel stroller which can be used from newborn to 40lbs?? I can’t remember. This one I use when we go to the next town over for mall trips cause it’s super compact and fits in the car really easily. I’ve also flown with it and it can fit into the upper compartment but I just let them put it under the plane at the gate.

I like our ergobaby metro. We check it right at the door of the plane rather than take it on board (one less thing to manage) but theoretically it can go overhead on a big plane. It’s stable, lies flat for naps on the go, has a great sun shade. It’s not the lightest option available but we use it a lot on transit as well and wanted something sturdy. I (a not particularly strong woman) can carry the stroller with baby in it up and down a few stairs if needed.

Puerto Plata - if you’re going into Taino Bay, it’s a great big facility. Multiple pools, a lazy river, various seating areas and some shops. I would plan to leave the ship in the morning then maybe go back again in the afternoon. You could get in a cab for a beach (say Dorado) but we found the waves to be big and it’s a 30ish mins cab each way. I personally would just do the port. St Thomas - Port is in a town. we walked to a coffee shop and brewery and just wandered. Lots of the typical touristy stores. There are wagon style trucks that go to the popular beaches or vans that do smaller, less popular. Depending on your comfort level without car seats, you could easily visit a beach in this one. I think you could install a car seat in one of the vans if needed. San Juan - just go walk with a stroller. Beaches close by aren’t worth it and the old town is so beautiful! Lots of restaurants, history and shops! St Kitts - again, you could do a beach in this one easily if you wanted to as there’s great options close by. The Marriot also sells day passes if that’s easiest. A lot of the excursions are on boats which I would avoid personally. We did a steel drum boat trip which you could easily do with a baby as it was a big spacious barge type boat but the length (5-6 hours) may feel too long. People love recommending umbrella strollers but they’re not overly practical. Get a travel stroller that lays flat with a canopy. Ergobaby Metro as an example. We travel with a “cheaper” car seats (Cosco Scenera Next). Easy to install and great for rear facing up to like 2/2.5 years.

Same. When they're too little to sit in the cart in their own, you have to carry them or keep them in a seat. At least with the click in stroller, it's one less transfer of baby. I can't tell you how many times he's falling asleep while shopping, so it's nice to be able to just lift him back into the car. Mine (ergo baby) came with another seat he can use when older, which will make the stroller a bit later to deal with when I don't have to have the car seat with it too.
